You're absolutely right-many people assume a PhD is only useful for academia, but that's not the case. I'm currently pursuing a fully funded master's program and have already been accepted into a PhD program in civil engineering at UC Davis. Given my personal circumstances, a career in the industry aligns better with my goals, especially since I don't have any green card issues (though I’m currently on an F1 visa). During my master’s program, I’ve developed skills in machine learning and data analysis. I took your GRE classes in Nust Islamabad. I plan to take a professional engineering exam and do an MBA later on. Thank you for making such content
please do videos on PhD in business school, often advisory videos on youtube focus on science->phd but business->MBA, even thought PhD in accounts/finance etc exist, but MBA seems to divert attention.
Sir, Can you please share some tips to get into a PHD program at a top/good school? My sister is in her 6th semester in BS Food Science at Comsats with a 3.74 CGPA. How can she build her profile better so she can get into a PHD program right after her BS?
Best way is to get involved in research in the domain, take the GRE, get recommendations from top researchers in the field in Pakistan with at least 2-3 years of research experience
I am applying for Fall 2025, PhD in Food Science/ Nutrition Science. I have an overall band score of 6.5 and 3+ years of industrial experience, have some publications, and 2 times internships in PepsiCo. Also done some courses from Coursera and certifications related to my field. What will be my chances, and your suggestions? Thanks
As long as publications are international you will have a very strong profile Do uni selection check their requirements whether they need GRE or not and start applying
Salam sir, i graduated with a gpa of 3.31 from nust. i have 1.5 years of research experience in addition to my undergrad project. Moreover, I recently scored 165Q 157V in the gre, what are my chances of getting into phd programs at universites like Uni of Michigan or uni of Illinois?
Salam Sir Talha, I would cut right to the chase, should a law graduate pursue a Phd in Fianance? If yes, then how to go about it given the fact thay he's been out of the university and working in the financial industry for the past 1.5-2 years?

@@talhaomer167 Basically I don't have very rigorous research experience but I've a decent CGPA. I tried in Fall 2024 but couldn't secure a PHD offer I'm trying again with GRE this time in my profile. What else do you suggest so that I can secure my chance to get a PHD offer. Thanks in advance.
Dear Sir, i did my Masters from Punjab university lahore in Material Science. I am 29 year old now, and preparing my prefile for my Ph.d. Give me some suggestions that either i try for USA or Europe and China.
Dear Sir, I did my BBA from NTU, Faisalabad. I am 32 years old now, and I am preparing my profile for my MBA. Give me some suggestions that I should try for the USA or Europe.
@ PHD programs here in US only take in relatively young individuals in their 20s. In rare cases if an experienced professional has a lot of patents/international research publications of significant value only then they take experiences applicants. However you can always apply and take your chance
