Thank you bro!!! Great video
This has become my favorite Hot Shot channel. Everything recorded is information you want and need to know, delivered in a way that is easy to understand and to the point without rambling and chaotic thoughts bouncing all around. Yousiff's pleasant personality comes through and you find yourself looking forward to the next video. Yousiff, thank you for all that you do, you are becoming a smash hit on UA-cam and I believe you will soon be the leader in this space.
Get one of those flashlights that you can put around your forehead in case you need both hand free to do some work on the truck or trailer. Great video.
Thanks for all your info.im a truck driver for 12 years.and I like what you do and .that your willing to help.others.thankyou
Another super, informative video man !! People should really appreciate how you use your valuable time to teach others. Keep up the great work, great attitude, and be safe!!! 👍✌️
Thank you Mike!
Great video, Yousif! I've been a subscriber and faithful viewer since the very first video of yours that UA-cam suggested to me. I love your videos because you have a unique "flavor" as compared to most other hotshot channels -- you give the sense of a very honest documentary view of your journey and experiences, while you, yourself, are still very new and developing in the industry. You share not just the greatest, most rewarding, parts of your experience, but also some of the scary, lesson-learning moments, but always with so much positivity and sheer joy for life! You did a great job laying out pretty much all of the essentials needed for the job (in terms of tools/equipment) and I think the one new thing that I've never seen any of the other channels mention was the tire plug kit -- that's a really good tip!!! Maybe in an upcoming video, you could run through all the stuff you use INSIDE your cab -- like a "sleeping & living/tech gear" video. For example, I've noticed your plug-in cooler/fridge -- what brand/model is that? How well does it work? If it plugs into the cigarette lighter port, then what do you do about overnight/34-hr resets to keep it cold, etc.? Keep up these great videos! A lot of us viewers out here need your inspiration!
I really appreciate your kind comment! Man it makes me feel so much better when I read comments like yours!!!! yes sure I will be doing a video about what I have inside the truck.
Just wanted to say Thank you. You do a great job at covering the important stuff. I'm not a hotshot driver. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. (Kidding!). I'm toying with the idea of becoming a hotshot.
Thank you! Stay safe!
You should also get slider winches for flatbed for you 4” straps to save time plus space in you truck
Tire plug kit is a good idea. I have had tires with a screw in them that I plugged on the vehicle then top off the air at a gas station. A 12 volt air compressor might be a nice thing to have too. Put a plug in the tire add some air and move on.
yes I'm thinking to buy a small compressor but I do not want to become a hoarder lol
Don't forget your" Tape measure" and spare axle for when it breaks and extra wheel. Enjoy your videos take care. God Bless you and your family keep safe.
I stumbled upon your channel this morning and have watched at least 10 videos already 😂 great videos . Thanks for all the info and stay safe 🤙🏼
I’m missing the tire patch kit definitely a life saver great 👍 vibe.
Agreed!
Great content you pretty much covered everything so many drivers out there are unprepared and set themselves up for failure. One more safety item i would suggest is maybe a small lightbar or beacon amber in color to make yourself visible when moving around a busy yard or you might get a oversized shipment that needs it also a couple of red flags and a oversize sign just in case. Best of luck watching from NYC take care...
The Table and Chair 👍
That is an Awesome Idea.
Really good video Yousiff! Thank you alot, I'm getting my CDL soon, and planning between hotshot or semi truck owner/operator. I need the experience first and money (lol) to start my business. God bless, have a great day, be safe out there!
Great video & excellent info. This channel will continue to grow. Your positive attitude will take you far!
truckguyjoe thank you joe!
Thanks for your time and the info….. I’m so excited to start a new hotshot I really appreciate you
Great informative video. You are doing an excellent job helping others understand the hot shot business. Keep up the great work! I look forward to you videos every week.
Very cool!! Thanks for the info on the amounts of necessary items!
Tire Opener. Hmm never heard of them. Also the bar he uses with the tire opener/loosener, I use to tighten strands and chain binders.
Get yourself signed up as an amazon affiliate . then post links to the items you show in your videos. It'll help you make a few more bucks and is easy. And it'll help your viewers see the correct items to use.
Thank you Mike. I need to find the way to do sign up for but definitely will do it!
You need to make a video on the tech stuff you use.
Like which load boards
GPS
Eld software.
Yes I have one about the load board coming up soon and working on the ELD one right now!
Have you upload the video yet ? Please let me know or share the link thank you
Great video. I would add a power inverter, a 1/2” impact, an air compressor and spare fuel filters. I don’t know what the capacity is on your bottle jack but I could see it not being enough for heavy loads.
I’m curious to see how you stored it in the truck and tool box.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I wouldnt have known the steel toe boot detail and being rejected had it not been for this video. Im literally going to the store right now to buy a pair lol
You got a good Set up. 👍🇺🇸
Awesome video like always 💪🏻💪🏻 very informative and straight to the point thanks man!!!
crazy i was just thinking about this 😂 thank you, you should write the list on the bottom of the video. bc idk mostly nothing of what you mention.
اللهم عظم مكانة ذريتي وارفع شأنهم بين عبادك واحفظهم بحفظك المتين يالله🤲🏻❤️
امين اجمعين!
Perfect timing I was ordering equipment, Thank you
Thanks Michael!
Where is a good place to order all this stuff
@@scottconley330 Scott, I got most of mine from Amazon. and www.truckntow.com

Really appreciate your videos your attitude and enthusiasm is great.. keep it up and God bless
Thank you John!
I love your videos man. Do you know why ? Cuz it is right to the point boom boom boom 1-2-3 . It is not like (to know that wait until the end of the video and I will tell you in the end )kinda shit. 👍👍👍👍
Some one random Haha thank you man yeah I know some people will beat around the bush so that the video is longer 😂😂😂
this area you filmed at reminds me of traveling through north texas past dallas ft worth heading towards Amarillo
I need to buy equipments so thanks a lot again youssif , very helpful
You should get a DEWALT (DCF899HB) impact wrench. Tons of power to easily remove lug nuts.
Yeah I think I’ll look into that because it’s kind of annoying to loosen it with the lug nut opener
Tow piglet jealously watching
That’s bad energy
Fr lmao always commenting
@8:45 you say chains are “ 3/4 inch by 20 foot”. I’m guessing 3/8 inch? Iirc grade 70-80 5/16 by 20 ft chain over $50. 3/8 by 20 ft. @$90? 3/4 inch chain is $17 a foot. Plus ends.... and heavy, heavy, ;)
Thank you very much for another very informative video... you've been so much help :)
I really enjoy watchin g your video's and the content that you share. You present everything very well. I thought you were a new hotshot driver but clearly you are not and have been driving for a while I can tell. Be safe out there. Also, is that your father who travels with you?
Thank you! My dad travels with me sometimes
@@ontheroad7097 That's so awesome! That time with your dad is priceless. Looking forward to your next video
Nice video i have the same trailer i was wondering what tool box do you have on your trailer i plan to get one but there are several to choose from i need storage
Very thorough video. Thanks
Good morning young man,

Audio, audio, audio!!!! Great video - lousy sound. How about a throat mike? The German Panzer commanders in WW2 used FM throat mikes covered with a turtle neck to coordinate an attack. They could near each other very well despite the noise of the tank. They were able to attack or defend against the Russians much more effectively because of this. In your case you would be much more effective if your viewers could hear you better. Keep up the good work.

waiting for a load Monday 8 AM in Long Beach, CA
Sunny and warm - somebody's got to do it!
Can you add a list of all your tools and quantity please? Thanks
Great info. Thank you!!!
Thanks great info 👍🏾
Ok buddy the wrench you keep calling a nut remover is called a star wrench so you can remove four different types of nuts. And the cheater bar your sticking in the end is called a load bar.. but I do like what your doing and I’m so looking forward to getting into it myself and no more driving a semi with a flatbed. Keep hauling my friend
Thank you Joe, I kept on trying to remember what they were called and couldn't so I came up with names on the spot haha.
In MO we call the lug wrench a 4 way
Another great video
Amazingly helpful. Thank you
how much would all that equipment cost?
Excellent video. This is extremely helpful. Stay safe.
Marcus Huddleston thank you Marcus!
Great video keep up the good work
"lug nut opener 1:32" ima steel that saying
Awesome buddy, new subscriber here 😀
Yousif what is your GVWR? or for how many pounds did your register your company? :)
Your video's are the best! One question, where do you put all that shit? lol
Good info.. will you consider lease on?
What’s the best size tarps for a 40 foot flatbed trailer all deck ..And best Store To buy..
Yousiff you should totally link everything with amazon links through their partnership
I am thinking about it but so far I have not figured it out
Hi, Can you please elaborate on Amazon links? Active duty Army guy here and soon to be retired one. I am interested in hotshot trucking, that's why I asked. Thx for your time.
thank you very good infomation, question please, what trailor are you currently using?
Where do you keep all that stuff
Great video. I seen a few of yours and you have great content. Question. Do you have your own authority or do you run under someone else's? Will keep following you and best of luck to you.
Thank you! I have my own authority
@@ontheroad7097 Thanks 😊
Where did you get the trailer and what size is it?
Hey Yusif do you have to mount the fire extinguisher and where??
Hey brother would you make a list and post it please
Hey how much money was all of this equipment?
Thank you! 🙏
Informative, Thank You.
Subbed! Thank you man!
Where do you store all this stuff, like the 4x4. In the bed?
Thank you so much
Great video!!
Very informative
Yousif best breakdown of what you need that iv seen man! Are the blowouts on the trailer tirers or the truck primarily?? How many spares should i get ?
Thank you for watching the blowouts are from the trailer I would say have two spares with you at all times because you could never know where you will get a blowout and how long it will take you to get a tire.
@@ontheroad7097 how can I get hold of you
i gotta get me a lug nut opener
Were do you get or how to get your loads.
What size tarps did you buy? 30ft by what?

ههههه انت حفلة
Yousif what is proper length of 2 inch and 4 inch straps? And who sells good tarps? Tarps are 20'×30' ??
All my straps are 30 ft long (both 4in and 2in). Yes tarps are 20X30. Myteeproducts.com have good quality and fairly priced ones.
He and where do you store this equipment?
Where is the best place to get all of these supplies
A combination of Wal-Mart, Home Dopot, Lowe's, Harbor Freight and your local hardware store.
How long have you been at this?
Hey buddy nice video, man I got super busy today and couldn't call you I'll call you tomorrow if ok, keep on trucking my friend
No problem Robert, call me tomorrow!
Thanks 🙏
You need a trailer to haul your tools ... lol 😂
الله يحفظك
Hey yousif, just got a new dually from the dealership. Can I go pick up a 40ft big Tex like yours while still having paper plates on the truck ??
Yes you should be fine As long as you have insurance on your truck and the plate is not expired
I appreciate a lot the response my man. 👍.
Where can i buy the tarps in southeast Texas, anyone know?
Do you use eld or paper logs. And how many hours are you able to work a week orper day?
ELD
Do they teach you all this at the CDL CLASS.
If you are doing flat bed they should
You have to ask them before you sign up
💯💯💪🏾
which gps do you use. Any specific truck one. Or just google maps.
I'm using the google maps because i'm a cheap person haha. one day I'll have enough courage to pay $300 for a GPS
@@ontheroad7097 really ok dont u need a special gps for trucks?
I KH So far it has worked good for me but sometimes when you are hauling a container you might want to watch where are you going because you may come across low bridges which I have and I was nervous about it but thankfully I noticed it and I did not go that route. But if you could afford a $300 truck or GPS then I would highly recommend it
Wondering if your running apportioned plates on this setup?
Yes I’m, I’m registered at 39,900
Thanks, in the early planning stages of doing a hotshot setup!!! Been doing over the road for 20 yrs now and ready for a change. Btw, the video of the load in Bangor, you said you were in auburn ma? Too funny, I live there. Be safe brother
sean taylor lol I said Auburn, MA but I think I was in Auburn, ME.... these places confuse me 😂
sean taylor yeah my man, nothing like being your own boss!
On The Road last ? And I’ll leave you alone, your plates cover all states?
“Lug nut opener”
And a bottle 4way
What kind of stove do you have to cook?
Ozark Trail from Walmart
Have you ever been in a situation where a weapon was needed? It seems that this profession can put one in some dangerous situations.
No I have not, hopefully it won’t happen!
How heavy are you allow to get your loads
Willie Flores I can haul up to 17,000 pounds of freight
Do you have to go true the dot scales
Thanks for replying.were are you going to deliver.?
How many hours are you able to work per day or week.?do you used eld.?or paper logs
I spy an AR15.COM shirt!
