It's refrehsing and great to see people with other nationalities than American, English or German make videos like this on UA-cam :) . I knew about the guide for making straight cuts, but I have never thought about making mitre cuts in this way. Thank you - and very good and informative video.
This is the jig I've been looking for! I purchased a Kreg Square-Cut jig, which is a ready-made version of this, but I don't like it much because: (1) it's made for saws larger than my 6.5" Ryobi; and (2) it's difficult to clamp it to the board, because it doesn't have the full plate like you have, and it's got molded handles for holding by hand (which I don't like to do) that get in the way. I like that yours has the footplate guide on the jig, instead of the jig itself being the footplate guide. Thanks for this!
