Louis and Dan and the Invisible Band- I Love to Sing! || Presented by the St. Olaf Orchestra

I was commissioned by faculty duo Louis Epstein and Dan Groll to arrange a new song of theirs for the St. Olaf Orchestra’s Family Concert!

This was quite a challenge! I was given about a month to turn a lead sheet into a full orchestration, and I had never written for any bowed string instruments before, let alone full orchestra. Thankfully some members of Ole Orch helped answer my sometimes silly questions about how to write for their instruments. A big thank you to Louis and Dan for giving me this wonderful opportunity!
