If he was a true business person and a promoter of the positive he would have taken advantage of the opportunity. Know your audience and speak to it. If he was incapable of doing it, decline. He knew why he was asked on the show, if he was incapable of adjusting to the audience have someone else go and decline. Trust and believe he didn’t get any new business from that debacle.
Well, exude your authenticity with wisdom. Most people don’t realise that you have to erect boundaries on your authenticity for your own good. That you can, doesn’t mean you must. Authenticity is valuable if intelligence is contained within it.
