Julia! Just wanted to let you know you are NOT alone. I also just got laid off a month ago and though it is daunting, you will get through it. It’s hard to not go through the cycles of “what could I have done better” or “there must be a reason, why me”. Stop that. It’s not your fault. Take some time for yourself, reset. Like you said, it is a blessing in disguise. You will find better and more fulfilling opportunities girlie, I believe it wholeheartedly. We’ll get through the turbulence together ❤

I’m doing this college program where I’m basically working through the school year and then taking classes during the summer. I felt really alone because my friends weren’t doing the same thing as I was. But seeing your work vlogs and seeing a girl similar to my age working and enjoying the same cutie hobbies I do, really comforted me. Thank you for being so vulnerable on camera because I also felt that way too. It took me a while, but I was able to get back on my feet and now I am trying to start my own little online shop, which is something I have always wanted to do. Just know that you may be just a number to the company, but you are so much more than that. You bring joy to others, like me and many others that watch your content. I got laid off the EXACT same way last august, and I cried with you reliving this wow talk about ptsd.. but let me tell ya this is a blessing in disguise girl TRUST ME!!!! If the company is laying off, then it’s only going to get worse if you stay working there. As much as it sucks to job search and not make money, at least you can finally take a break from corporate and work on your mental health (:

aww I am sorry that this happened and it was ur very first job :( I am excited about what job you're going to be working in. Maybeeee a cafe shop, a boba shop, or something else that you're going to enjoy. I prayed to God for a job that I rlly wanted which was to work at a boba shop. I got rejected the first time sadly at the time but the next year I tried again and I got HIRED and that was more of the right time that was good for me which I'm glad :) It's going to be okay though. It is a good thing that you are living with your parents right now who are going to support you and be with u for ur new journey. Aww girl crying is normal! I got laid off in October and cried even though I was miserable the last 6 months I was working there and the layoff itself took less than 2 minutes and was super impersonal. Love you 💕

I’ve been in the tech work force for 40 years and have been ‘fired’ 3 times with family/house responsibilities. Looking back, I realized that it was not a reflection of who I was as a worker, but really being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I was found that each layoff was really a weird blessing as that journey improved my skills and my outlook. You seem so positive a person that I’m sure you will find the same. Good thoughts to you as I know job searching is very difficult and stressful. I’ll do my bit by subscribing and liking your videos! lol
