I cant shake off the feeling that the wukong basically commit suicide. there is no way the celestial army can kill wukong even if they wanted to. sure, the golden headband can restrain him for a time, but that alone cannot kill wukong
yes, that's the theory of one of the players from China. That the fight btwn Erlang and him was all a ruse; to keep the 4 heavenly kings from killing off and leveling Mt Huaguo. Wukong knew that too, and there were many times both could have delivered major damage, but held back, and even chose to escape into the mountains to "finish" off the fight, knowing that Erlang will tell the heavenly kings to "let's call it a day as the monkey has died", and to leave the descendants unharmed. The appearance of the crown isn't actually enough to damage him, but it's good enough to put up a show. Wukong thus separated the 6 orbs, though having passed on physically, but his spirit remains. All the Jade emperor wants is for this untamable force to be non-existent, that's all. and Erlang and Wukong used to be very close in the original novel.
This was Wukong’s ploy to get rid of the headband. Erlang in the second fight says that not even he can actually kill Wukong. When the Destined One (being the mind relic) unites his other relics and regains Wukong’s memories, he is effectively reborn, but not bound by the headband. Now, he is truly free.
You are probably not far off according to what Erlang said during the secret final boss fight. He said nobody can kill Wukong except for Wukong himself.
@@Tinpinmingit’s actually kinda confirmed wukong did, in the final battle erlang actually says it. And it honestly makes sense as it’s the only way he could deal with the whole crown situation
@@stevensteven5215 btw Zhuangzi is a really fun book. Bro knows how to throw shades with style (warring states on tenticles of a snail, Dao Zhi dunking on Confucius, the useless tree, etc) and tell cool stories. Check it out sometime.
I like how they made Bajie so cute and small😂
Yeah true 😂, I really like this design but I was expecting him in a different appearance similar to that in “Journey to the West”
But his backstory is very sad :(
Cute, funny, clever and a big friend
Zhu BaJie , Sun WuKong , PingPing ...many impressive character
Kind of wished Sha Whujing was here, then I can see some dynamic call back from Journey to the West
in the next sequel
In the dlc perhaps, this game is super popular so 100% irs getting dlc whether Sandy will be in it or not obviously who knows
then again Piggie really grew on me.

Wukong can't die because of his 4 levels of immortality. Best you can do is break him apart into fragments and scatter them
I played with Chinese audio but the english audio is so great lmao, second playthrough in english will be like a new experience.
Yeah brother... Always playing with the original voice
Chapter 4 ending animation made me cry like a lil baby 😢
Yaksha king had no right to look so badass.
trickster?that the future buddha
is the flying fish is Sha wujing?
It's probably Kunpeng 鲲鹏, a mythical giant fish that turned airborne in Zhuangzi's mythology.
@@ItsukaShimotsuki ok ok thank you
