also i forgot to mention in the playthroughs that got edited - i wanted to challenge myself even further and not allow myself to get Liang until at least pop 10 or turn 100. i tried the challenge with just going straight Liang and it was very very easy at that point tbh lmao.

I do love the Idea of a world congress where people keep getting letters from some random guy called Yongle, who claims to be located in a realm of fiery volcanoes.
And they just go along with his suggestions until finally deciding to let this total stranger rule the world 😂
i love the idea of the letter always starting with an apology. couldnt make it guys sorry, volcano exploded killing 20% of my population. anyways i vote for me.

Once you have 15 or 16 diplo points they always vote for you to lose points. So vote for yourself to lose points and you only lose 1 since you technically won the vote 😂

Boes: Civ6 is mentally exhausting. Also Boes: *surrounds himself with volcano in a one city challenge*
So, it's actually pretty easy to manipulate the WC, if you're close to winning, the AI will vote you down, you can just vote yourself down and then win the other two categories (the AI will likely spend their Diplo favour on downvoting you).
This means that you can still actually come out ahead with 1 Diplo point if you win the other two.
Yeah I mentioned that I should've just voted for me but I went full greed lmao
@@boesthius Someone mentioned earlier, you only lost the two points because you met Alexander and Musa. If you did not meet them, they could not vote you down, since you cannot vote for an unnamed player.

Accidentally did something vaguely like this a month ago. Was on tws (huge) and the only person on the Americas.
Won a culture victory with Brazil about 30 turns after discovering the African coast, mostly from the Amazon Jungle being transformed into a preserve/national park Mecca. So much culture i was nearly at national parks before Caravels started finding me, and the tourists from them won the game in about 20 turns.
You should do modded games to spice things up further. Great to watch as this was insane!

I also had a 100% to theatre squares for the first time in a recent game. Was totally shocked
you could have used spiffs move...you could have set it up to where every disaster helps you with food, money, and , and other stuff.

It's weird that your boarders expand into the volcano tiles that are basically useless to own, before the water tiles that while also are basically useless, but at least they have value points. You'd think the Ai would prioritize those.
Volcano/Mountains are better than Coast/Ocean Tiles though~
They have higher Appeal (National Parks can be on 4th and 5th cycle) and owning them, reveals the tiles behind them.
You did alot of challenges, very complex and difficult. But there is a simple one i think you missed...
How about winning deity while staying as a chiefdom?
It's pretty much the same stratagy. Diplo victory is so easy to cheese you can win it without even settling a city.

@boesthius You can set up your game to avoid gettign the cutscenes and pop ups whn discovering something. Just set up your game in the "online" mode. You can play alone. Just don't forget to make your game private and voila, a faster game

If nobody knows who you are how do you even participate in World Congress? If you've run into at least one other civilization you at least have a pipeline to make contact with the rest of the world. I suppose the game just decides that it doesn't want to think about how the hell your proposals and votes get to the others, or how knowledge of their meetings manage to get to you.
