he's nice. this kid has been taught fundamentals. footwork, use of the pivot and pump fakes are excellent. he will get the most out of his athletic ability. you can tell he's put in a ton of work drilling every aspect of the game.
He’s very intelligent and has very good fundamentals. But he lacks the explosiveness, speed, or extreme talent needed for the NBA. You don’t become a shorter, white PG in the NBA unless you’re as skilled/quick as Steve Nash
Two things that jump out at me right away: 1.) It must be wonderful to play on his team. Very unselfish and always finds the open man 2.) His team has obviously clued into the above because there is always someone cutting to the hoop. Makes it fun to watch (and play)

Saw him back in January at Highland when they out played a much bigger Father Stilton team. He can run with the best. Only other guy at the shootout with as good or better handles was Rob Martin and Hardings court vision was second to none. High IQ player.
I like fundamentals so I don't get overly impressed with a handles type player, but the move he made at the 1:00 mark to lay it up was on point and his court vision is nice.
doesnt seem to do anytig that doesnt lead to the next move, so no howing off for the sake of it, every move has a urpose, hot release loks low but that can be fixed, vision impresive for a lad, hope he makes it to a sollege team
Great player, great skills! One thing though is, when I played back in the early 80’s, you absolutely could not put your hand on the side the ball while dribbling … that was automatically palming/double dribble. That limited how much you could get by the defender off the dribble. My neighbor plays for the Creighton women’s bball team and I watched them in the NCCA tourney. Their cutting and screening was so fun to watch. They were better than the sum of their parts.
FYI: Moline product, Harding has received multiple in-state DI mid-major offers from the likes of UIC, Bradley, EIU, WIU, ISU and SIU due to his exposure in playing in Mid Pro Academy (AAU). Before he didn't have any DI offers.

You can't teach quickness. But this kid has the stutter dribbling abilities, can penetrate and the ability hit the open man underneath. He's a triple threat with that good outside shot.
@Senna_Grillo 12 What? 🤣 Did you ever see Mark price play? The dude was cat quick, extremely shifty at the pro level and was actually the point guard that popularized splitting the screen. Now I really appreciate Brock's abilities and I think he's gonna be an outstanding college point guard but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
Great video. Quick feet, good fundamentals. But NBA? At this point? He's lucky if he gets into a top 10-15 D1 program and even start. There are TONS of great, somewhat similar players these days. He's good, even great perhaps. But you can go to a random playground in southside Chicago, north Philly, Harlem, Venice beach and see young players with similar type skills. He'll do well, or should, barring anything unforseen (hopefully not) but lets be realistic. Finally, the D in these videos by the oppoistion is shocking at times.

Those from the face outside shooting shots... don't even bother to show those because no one is guarding him. His moves to the basket and passing, very good.
From just the film alone he’s got talent, I don’t know what classification he plays in? I don’t know the level of competition he plays against. IMO He looks like he would be a great G(guard) to play with, He is definitely a CG(combo-guard)and if he grows, gains some muscle(not that he NEEDS it but it helps)he could be a damn good player at the D1 level. Nice game he has, and especially the unselfish play!
Saw this kid play last night, didn't even know who he was but I saw him warming up and I knew.
He is causing players to run into each other, they stand a better chance man to man, he is a master at timing up the defense.
He scored 28 points against Normal Community High School. I believe the last guy to do that was Jalen Brunson.
Would love to see Brock play at Villanova, he could succeed really well there in that offense!
