Thomas The Tank Engine has returns to the Swindon Cricklade Railway after nearly 2 decades! No.680 "32 Gothenburg" which was dressed up as Thomas, was doing train rides from Blunsdon to Taw Valley Halt! 32 Gothenburg also made history over that event! For being the first steam loco to go around it's train at Blunsdon for the first time! The DMU set "W510744+W51104" was running from Blunsdon to South Meadow Lane with a stop at Hayes Knoll on the way back! There were lots of things to do! Such as look around the Museum, The Vintage Carriage Project and also had unlimited rides on the River Ray Miniature Railway! During my visit, there was a working miniature replica of the solo surviving GWR 1500 Class, No.1501 in BR Black! A massive thank you to the Swindon Cricklade Railway team for putting on a great Day out with Thomas event! 10/10!
