Hello Anna, It is a pleasure to hear your voice, good mood, to see your smile and the tender (I dare to say) way in which you talk to us, show and teach us!! It's really a pleasure to hear and watch your videos and learn from you!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏🥰👏👏🌸👏👏🇵🇹from Portugal 🇵🇹🌟💛
Hi Anna, I just came across your channel yesterday and I really like your work! Your projects are really creative, I appreciate how you share all your tips and hacks and I love the detailed material list in the description (it always bugged me in other channels that you need to pause in the right moment or take a screenshot of the material list. ) I also love your way of presenting. You come across very authentic and natural. It is a pleasure listening to you and watching your videos! Keep on the great work!
That you so much Bianca for all that great feedback! I love to hear that you appreciate all those things, I pay a lot of attention to all of that exactly because I was missing it with other creators. So glad to hear that my audience likes it 😊
So appreciate having a friendly person whom is willing to teach and share their craft. Even to encouraging us to think about our approach to each of our own projects with colour texture and cord. Thank you so much. I am very new to Macrame so got a long way to go yet lol.
You’re amazingly wonderful with your easy-to-understand explanation and superb editing job. This piece is gorgeous! I can’t emphasize enough how brilliant you are with your organization of contents, material list, editing out the tedious repetition and the big plus is you don’t add the drippy background music like so many DIY clips I saw. Thanks for your tremendous clip.
Thank you so much! Not many people comment on my editing style or the way I organize my content so it makes me super happy when somebody recognizes the effort I put into it 🙂🙂 I have started adding music in my newer videos but only in the parts where I don’t talk and I am definitely conscious to not overdo it 😌
I've watched so many tutorials but none is so clear and detailed. Your videos are the best! Thanks for all the hard work and I hope you'll keep posting new tutorials! Wishing you happiness
Thank you so much for all the compliments, I am really glad to hear you liked my tutorials so much. Unfortunately I won't get to film any new ones for a while, I just want to do other things with my time at the moment 😌 But maybe if you like cooking you will enjoy my new content as well
I’ve learned so many things from you! I finally made this one. I was afraid to until I got more experience. My colors match my bedroom and it came out great! I used 4mm cord for white and colors. Note: 4mm makes the berry knots in first section almost too close together from color to white and white to color. It worked, I just had to play with it a bit. Thank you for all the tips, tricks and suggestions in your videos! Love them
That’s awesome! I’m glad you went for it and that you are happy with the result 😊 it is true that even the 1mm in size can make the end result a bit different…
Hi Anna, I am so impressed with the way you teach. You speak slow and really touch base on everything you do. This wall hanging is to die for!!!! I can't wait to make this. I have similar colors but not the rainbow cord, so I'll have to improvise! I can't wait to watch more of your videos. This was my first one I saw of yours, and now I'm hooked! Beautiful work!
Thank you so much Lisa for the nice comment 😊 I am especially really happy to hear about my teaching speed because sometimes I feel like I am talking way too fast 😅 I think this color combination will work as well with a regular natural cord if you don't have the rainbow...You can tag me on Instagram or send me a picture there if you are going to make it, I would love to see it!
I love this project and if you are willing to use all the colors that you did and find that its not too much work for you then go with it. You are amazing at what you do. This is a show piece work of art and you should be proud of it. I love it, it brings out the American Indian side of my ancestors in me.
Hey there I was reading your post about being new to this craft. I’m wondering how you’re feeling about this new hobby since you have been doing this for a couple of months now?
Hi Anna! I'm Really New To Learning About Macrame. Out of All The Videos I've Been Checking Out, This Was The First Of Yours! It's Extremely Beautiful and As They Say Here in the Comments, You Teach Quite Well! I'm a Disabled Grandma & Fell In Love With Macrame in the Early 70's. We Had a Neighbor I Became Friends with, I was in 1st grade and She was a Teenager. She Made Me a Beautiful Belt That I Kept Most of My Life! I Finally Gave It To My Daughter when She Was A Teenager! I Can No Longer Do the intricate needle work I Always Did. I Believe If I Can Get The Supplies, I Would Be Confident in Following You! Please Keep Up Your Awesome Teaching! It's So Appreciated! I Will Check Your Videos to Find A Beginner Piece!
I am so happy to hear you like my teaching style 😊 And I do think that macrame is easier and less intricate than needle work so I really hope that it will work for you as well!
Wow!! I love the amount of color in this piece. I just found your channel today. I watched your easy wall hanging ideal for beginners video, ordered the supplies for it, then looking through your other videos was drawn to this video by the color. I love deep rich colors, especially Earth tones.
Hi Anna, I wouldn't change a thing. This is a beautiful piece. I am actually going to try to make this for a wedding gift. I can't wait to get started. Thank you
I made this, Anna! I had to make a couple of adaptations. I think the 5 mm cord I bought was closer to 6! It turned out really cool. My favorite project to date! I’m getting so much better at your half hitch method. Thank you so much. ❤️. You’re very talented!
That's awesome! If you are on Instagram you can tag me or send me a picture, I would love to see it 😊 And it's great that you were able to alter it to fit your needs 😉
This is amazing. I just came across your channel this afternoon and have been watching multiple videos so far. I love how you make everything easy to follow, especially for myself who is a beginner - I really only know the square knot, spiral, double half hitch (only after watching your video!), lark's head, and gathering knots and this is something that I could actually do! I am very excited to try something like this out.
Love all your videos. They've been a huge help as I rediscover macrame after a twenty year hiatus. I love the multi colors in this. However, I will be using a deep olive, pumpkin orange, and mustard. Cant wait to see how it turns out.
Out of the world! You are so gifted and generous. Thanks a ton for sharing. I’m pretty sure I’ll tie myself into a knot over this ( if I ever dare to attempt this) !!!
I came for the color pop & got so much more!! That double half-hitch trick is so valuable, i wish i knew that with the curtain i just finished, lol! Thank you very much for sharing! ❤️
You did an amazing job! I recently discovered your channel and you explain everything so well! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us… and your beautiful creations
It is really beutiful!!!! I love it! I hope I can do it!! I am mexican but you explain it very clear! Congratulations and thank you soo much for share your work! ❤
I really enjoyed this tutorial, you explain things so well. Personally I think the colours are perfect, I love the earthy tones. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work !
I love this color so much! I have been looking for a colorful piece and am in the process of making it! Hopefully it will look half as good as yours! 🤞🏻
This is very beautiful!!! I am very impressed with your creativity and your teaching skills. I am a newbie and have learned so much from watching and listening to your videos. I can't wait to get good enough to tackle this project. Thank you so much!!!!
The color is nice. I think you can adapt this process to make other things besides wall hangings. Looks like the limit is only with your imagination. I picture a real impressive belt make out of macrame. Love it and I'm pleased you are willing to teach us how to do it on the U Tube.
Oh absolutely! There are tons of different types of projects that you can do, I have videos mostly for wall hangings but also chandeliers, wreaths, dog toys, keychains and recently I've even done a yoga mat strap...
I can't wait to have a go at this one I'm gonna use some different colours pink grey n lilac as that's what my daughter wants but this pattern I love. Thank you for sharing love your videos x
Love, love this fun colorful piece! Definitely not too much color ☺️ I did make this now and I love it, thank you for your amazing tutorial and material list 👍😊
Beautiful. I love the variety of colors. I believe as long as the colors go together, they make a beautiful and unique wall hanging. I would definitely do a colorful piece like this. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the lovely pattern. I made it the same as yours as I loved the colours so much (and they are perfect for my living room). Personally I love it more than any of my other white macrame which don't show up well against my white walls! Thanks ❤

Hi Anna, I'm a novice and you are the best tutor I have found no-one comes close to your style of work and teaching. I have completed the full of colour wall hanging and I'm now doing the blossom chandelier only I'm using rainbow dust. So far so good . I'm using a 50 cm circle and wondered how much extra rope it'll take, and do you think I should use the single ply 3mm in rainbow dust for the tassles? I gave the full of colour to someone as a gift and told them to lay and spot the mistakes . Lol . I have to thank you for you are the best , most exciting teacher with such humility and a thoroughly decent person. So thanks Anna and apologies for this long message. Mmmmwah
I love reading the long messages so no apologies needed 😄 I know I am 3 weeks late with my response so you may already be finished with your chandelier but I would just keep measuring as you are working on that first half-circle and when you would get to the third of the ring you know that you should stop there. And you don’t have to use 3mm for the tassels, it was the only size I had in that color that was single twist cord. And thank you so much for your positive feedback 😊
What an amazing video!! You are such a great teacher, the video was perfect… gah!! I am so grateful for and inspired by you and am so excited to start this project myself!! 😍
Also, I believe you said this, but to make sure ! You are mounting the dowel rod on a clothing rack, yes? I’ve been contemplating the easiest way to work with macrame of this scale.
It's really nice to hear that my video inspired you like this 😊 and yes, I am using a clothing rack when working on my macrame projects. I've done a video about the tools that I often use including the clothing rack so that might be helpful for you ua-cam.com/video/gq9PYjXpLts/v-deo.html
