If you click on the little letter I right next to the hero power rank, it gives a breakdown of the hero's stats. Ram has a higher damage value and harold higher defense. So it;s really a question of whether your backline is doing enough damage or not, as to which hero is the better choice for you.

I wanted to ask, if you‘re planning on doing a guide for the tower of knowledge anytime soon ☺️ Don‘t want to waste my soul crystals as upgrading those skills is pretty expensive... Harald build tanky(can also put damage on him whatever your preference) put yoshi behind him. Haralds ultimate is going to decrease the defense of the row while yoshi melts. Put skills like onslaught or combo on yoshi. I have seen yoshi do dumb damage paired with harald. Best part is hes free!! Also ram I've heard is getting a nerf talk about beating a dead horse lol
For me its ultility; ideal would be merlin for massive AOE damage, Atila for his silence, Ramesses for damage reduction. Last slot im debating between Dido and Yoshi. If Dido then troops defense by 600% with 35% of enemies being chilled which allows merlin to do 50% more damage. If Yoshi then it's pure damage. Guess the question would be does Dido's utility outweigh Yoshi damage. If anyone has the numbers please share would greatly appreciate :)
Interesting topic... when I first started the game people told me Harald is better than Ramesses too, but last night I was asking around some discords and everybody was saying the opposite... so now I dont know hahahaha
Honestly these things can change with balance changes. Most people will go with Harold right now which is why I like to use Ramses. I anticipate a balance change at some point and hope that I’m ahead of the game.
Go check the water team (actually all teams of the top lady in server 1. Something fishy going on there. Makes me feel that spending all this money on charles and dailies is being wasted.

For me Atila shards has come up in market only for gems so far. That's why I bought that pack which gives you gems everyday for 30 days. It helps a lot.
What does +8 mean after Harald's name? I just unlocked mine today, got him to lvl 21 (in troops)/8 (in skills) and his power is only 3998 :( Why is he so weak, I was putting so much hope on him

Right, It’ll depend on your other units, Harold has a defense break that will make up for his lessor amount damage compared Ramses
My water march consists of: Harald, Yoshi, brin and Gilgamesh
Ramesses and Dido. Harold and Bathony. Yoshi good for gnome bosses in fire march...

Harald , Atilla as ur front then Yoshi and Merlin in ur back. U use Ram if ur a big spender, if not that combo is doable
