This video demonstrates how to Mount a Traditional FMX. As technology with Dentistry gets more advanced, more offices are moving toward Digital X-Rays. However, mounting is still a skill that will help with recognizing Dental Anatomy and understanding how an FMX is organized.
First, you will start with the Bitewing X-Rays as a "roadmap" to match the Posterior X-Rays to. Remember, "pimple" not a "dimple" so we want to make sure the hole punch in the corner of each film is pointing out towards us.
