  • Screenwriter and Emmy-winning actor Michael Imperioli's first novel, "The Perfume Burned His Eyes," is the atmospheric coming-of-age story of 17-year-old Matthew, whose mother moves them from Queens to a posh apartment in Manhattan in 1976. Matt is a not an atypical teenager--think Holden Caulfield without the cynicism--but, often afraid and awkward, he is a reactor, not an actor, until the end of the novel, which, without foreshadowing, comes as a harrowing surprise. Check out Imperioli at BUILD, where he discussed his novel and his role in the new ABC comedy, "Alex, Inc."

He's awesome, has an actor, and just has a person, he is so humble despite that he played Chris freaking Moltisanti, very interesting and fun interview

Jesus the amount of thought that Imperioli puts into everything from Christopher Moltisanti to Catcher in the Rye always impresses me
