    I met the CANON people some years ago in the factory in Slowakia and I was really impressed the way they work. This was not the tiny High-End workshop, but a real factory with proper production and serious know-how in technology. They came to me one day all the way down to Essen to listen to some amps together with BORG and I was blown away. That was not what I expected! So whatever we tested from them turned out to be really great. The Phono Preamp never left my listening room and we are just waiting for some new devices to arrive at our place soon. :-)

    Well done Terry again another detailed review.
    What I like is that you put your views across in a way that new audiophiles can understand.
    As for the comments below, I hope it’s water of a ducks back . Master and slave ... WTF .. the world has gone mad.
    Keep up the good work my man, 99% of normal Peps really enjoy your insightfulness.

    Nice review, they made them 30km from me in Presov. Saw canor once on exhibition here, never heard them. Im curious if u review some of Vincent products in future :P, im big Vincent fan and they made very interesting gear i think (price vs money) they mostly do hybrids but i realy love that tube creamy smooth mids and deep bass. Thank you for your reviews man, u do a nice job, and i love your reviews.

    thank you for bringing the review of Canor brand to wider audience. Any plans for Phono? (I know, you do not have "vinyl analogue" part in your system ... just asking) You may mention the cables brand you used with (signal and power cables)

    • @PursuitPerfectSystem
      @PursuitPerfectSystem  3 роки тому +1

      The system I used to review the amps is all listed in the video description. I wouldnt review any vinyl products maybe basic ones because it would be hypocritical of me to form any meaningful opinions as I don't have the experience and knowledge. I would rather just be honest and I hope to learn so this can change at some point but only so many hours in the day :) thanks for the kind comments

      For A-Class - how is the heat from the heatsinks in M/S combination?

    • @petervansa2477
      @petervansa2477 3 роки тому

      ... and you did comment that at the end of the interview - you commented exactly what I wanted to learn. It is NOT nuclear hot, but it will warm up the room (guessing especially when amp is not switched off)

    • @PursuitPerfectSystem
      @PursuitPerfectSystem  3 роки тому +1

      My room is sealed for listening, its very well insulated for keeping sound in and out and then I have a lot of acoustic treatment in the room, so more insulation - if a rooms is getting hot its my room, it gets oven like and bear in mind its not a hot time of year, its not cold either though you notice the heat the amps are giving out but its not that bad - hope that helps some

    Is it the space between the amps that makes the difference by maybe mitigating noise, crosstalk and interference? Or is it cos of the fact that each speaker has it's own power amp? They are the same amps and it seems that the difference is only due to the separate amps.

    Hi Terry :) I really enjoyed this review... Im currently in the market for a Class A SS amp, and the Canor has come to my attention, do you have any ideá what kind of transistors Canor are using in this amp? I cant find any information about it.... The other amp im looking at is the Pass Labs INT25... i know its more expensive then the Canor... But i like the ideá that the Canor can be linked... Thx for the review :)

  • @johnsweda2999
    @johnsweda2999 3 роки тому +2

    How much is class A ? 10-15watts probably under 12 watts there's no way it's going to be much higher than that they would need the transformer would be the size of the unit itself only if it's class D power supply what doesn't look like

    Totally off topic. Cables. What cable makes the biggest difference to a system as a first upgrade. TQ loop. Digital rca. Analogue rca or speaker cable?

    • @PursuitPerfectSystem
      @PursuitPerfectSystem  3 роки тому

      I think TQ suggest speaker cables first, but it might be worth putting an email into them and asking specially about what range your looking at and they will suggest the best way to go, I am really not sure buddy, all at the same time :)
