During this 2017 live performance, Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert. It is his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8, but he also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it. It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for. During the performance, he made certain to erase any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance by moving his mic quickly from side to side as he sang. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch. Dimash is truly on another level.
