Love your content, inspiring me to get out and do that, I’d love to help clear trails but I am in Ontario, and also not to far away from MR Butler, love that guy he’s an excellent feller to know
@Browningbpr Hey man! How are ya? I love that you love the content! You should enjoy this next 9 day 580km adventure video into the mountains. Yes Butler is a great guy. I’m from Ontario as well so on one of my trips home I’d love to pop by for a visit to meet you two.
Looks like the Soup Mix is doing OK, but the little saw looks like it needs some mods to make it more usable. The Red Armor oil has been a success for me so far, and will be for you too. Ever thought of hiring Sasquatches to help maintain the trails? HA HA ! Ever seen one?
@ mrobseletesvintagehomesteading9156 you are absolutely right. On that trip I pinched the bar on one of the big trees. I was clearing off the trail and found the limits of the papier-mâché handle they use on those things. It’s bent all to hell and now I have to replace it with a stronger one. There’s no doubt about it they are cheap built but a decent saw with a few mods. I always tell people to just go and buy a good brand name chainsaw if they want to do any serious cutting but for somebody who’s just cutting here and there with a few of my little mods, these things can be OK. I just like the challenge of trying to make them a little bit better. It’s more of a game than anything to me but one of these days in the near future I’m going to buy a nice high-end Stihl or a Husky.
Hobbies are good. Working on and fixing junky saws has the benefit of making one a better mechanic ! Decent saws don't need much other than regular maintenence.@@Indeewoods
