I love how he does full miniature reviews going through each miniature abd lore great for learning lore about creatures and for looking at the sets miniatures
41 min..... and worth every second of it. I cannot praise this video enough. Being a magic the Gathering player as well as a D&D player I appreciate all the backstory and lore you include for each Mini as well as all the options and ideas you come up with for using them. I can also appreciate the lengths in which you go to to explain in great detail the level of importance many of these creatures have. Congratulations to the winner of your contest and great job on this video I give it two thumbs way, way up! I will also give it a share on social media.
That Anvilwrought raptor would also make a really cool familiar miniature for a warforged (if you wanted to flavour it as mechanical) but I think my favourite mini is that wicked looking basilisk
Ok, so usually when I see your videos I take notes of my favourite ones and those I'm going to need. And omg when we got to the centaurs and satyrs I was excited cause I could now cover those races. But the Abhorrent Overlord took my breath away, the followed by Hythonia whose statblock and appearance I'm using for the ruler of one of my favourite nations of my homebrew world and omg the sculpts are amazing and I neeeeed that Hythonia sometime in the future. It's such and important character and I feel like the mini did it justice
Best and more complete reviews in the planet... i'm a bit lazy to read every creature's origin so i always come to your channel to hear it. Greeting from colombia to you both! ♥
So many brilliant minis! The one that I want to run the most is probably that new Basilisk or even even the Emissary of Thassa. Gotta love the big crab!
I really love the Chimera it's a super interesting model and resembles the greek version really closely which I enjoy immensely, really love the look of this whole set :)
For me, my favourite miniature in the set is medusa, as I’m currently building an adventure around Greek methodology. I’ve already built a labyrinth system as well as a set of minotaur mini’s. Also, I think the status effect “petrified” where creatures are typically turned to stone is under-represented in miniature form.
The cyclops looked awesome! I like the fact that it's not in a static pose. The sculpt and the paint job, just looks great. I already have some ideas on how put it in game, both in and out of official D&D campaigns
Wow!! Great set of minis!! They ALL look good!! Two that stand out for me is the Akroan Hoplite and the medusa!! If you need a 300 Leonidas..the Hoplite will do nicely! That Medusa is the best looking representation of the character I've ever seen! Love how her snake hair is all splayed out!! Another great video guys! Keep up the good work!!
Arasta looks really really insane! I can just imagine describing the lair to my players, then pulling out this from behind the screen. Talk about an ~Epic~ Mythic encounter!
I was completely charmed by the Emissary of Erebos mini. That golden painting and the details on its wide open jaw made me think of a heveanly black (but golden) mamba. Just love It!
My favorite mini is the emissary of Erebos, the paint design and reflective look of it makes the figure look so good, and more snake minis are always welcome in my book.
My favorite mini here is the abhorrent overlord, but honestly its a really hard choice! I love how bold Wizkids is getting with these new sculpts. I love your guys' work so damn much. This channel is so perfect for dnd mini nerds like myself. You guys put in so much more effort than you need to in making these videos, and it really pays off! I wish you so much success with the channel, it is well deserved!
Emissary of Erebos has got to be the most striking for me. It looks sick. Hands down my favourite. Thanks for all the content. Recently discovered the channel and it has definitely stoaked the fires for collecting this minis and others.
These videos have really helped keep the whole working from home thing palatable, so thanks for that! Lots of neat minis in this set. Oddly, I think the griffon and the oracle were my faves from a FR perspective. Setting aside, The mythical monsters were amazing.
The Emissary of Phurphoros was by far and away my favourite. I just love the use of colours and that starry look. I'm gonna have to look at tracking one down!
Thank you Theo and Grady! I'm sure that creating the amount of content you have been generating has been exhausting, keep up the wonderful work! Btw, I love love love the Emissary of Thassa.
My favorite from the set would be the Akron’s Hoplite-great paint job, looks like it’s thrusting forward like an action movie, and has a chic golden color. It’s also immediately recognizable as Greek or from Theros, so it’s very flexible in use! My (close) second favorite is the well-painted and also golden Emissary of Erebos. Unbeknownst to some, Greek myth is filled with serpents and dragons so it is also well-suited.
Absolutely love the Leonin’s they are like the perfect gladiator race. Huge fan of nightmares and I love that each set seems to have a slightly different take on them.
Came to watch the video as soon as i saw the post at Minis Gallery! My favorite has to be Arasta, looks like a horrifying enemy to face. The Overlord looks nicely made as well.
Theo, my friend your making this contest rough LoL! Man there are sooooo many cool minis to choose at first I thought the night hag, then the nightmare, but the abhorrent overlord is bar none my favorite, I can think of a ton of various uses for him and I'll definitely be by getting him on the secondary market no matter what!
Great set! Thanks for the review. I'm in love with that emissary of porphoros. I think I'll be using that one in an encounter in a massive forge area with animated armor minions. My players are going to love the variety of hazards they can use in that one.
jeez, your videos are SO complete. It is everything a buyer could possibly hope for. all the infos are there. Thank you really, this is professional work. That would diserve official sponcorship from the companies you cover. If those videos were on the official d&d webpages they WOULD sell more of them. SO many questions a client asks himself before buying are answered here What does the paint job really look like up close ? What does those mini look like in a set ? What kind of stories can i tell with those kind of miniatures ? What is the inspiration/original artwork ? Are there other prints allready released of that miniature i'm seeing there but i'm not sure i like ? So many more i don't think about. I'm sorry i'm getting carried away xD I just want to salute the mindset you adopted when you processed and designed your concept. This is the way to make quality content.
The transluscent minis are gorgeous! I loved the detail of the bottom part of the Emissary of Erebos that you can see trough the clear base, but I have to say that the best mini in this set is the Abhorrent Overlord, that mini is just perfect!
I honestly don't know if I can name a single favorite. There are so many good memories from this set with so many ideas bouncing off left and right on how I could use them into any D&D game. I would have to go with the nymphs because of the variety and the colors. But again there are so many other ones that are fantastic. For some reason I feel like I'm 12 again and I have the Pokemon "got to catch them all" attitude when it comes to these Minis.
Can't decide which I like more, the Abhorrent Overlord, the Chromanticore, or the Medusas. The sculpts on those were just amazing, though the Chromanticore might have a slight edge from wingspan alone, that guy was like, spilling off your turntable! Plus there's so many regular "soldier" minis you can use as guards or elite mercenaries. Also, gonna have to get two or three of those Alolan Basilisks, that mini was pretty mean-looking with a very well-done color scheme. Thanks for another great review video, Theo and Grady, we really do appreciate all the awesome work you put into them. Stay safe!
I thought my favorite was going to be the Nyx-fleece Ram but I am completely in love with the Medusa and the Griffon. Oh man, I'm gonna need to find some of these blind boxes. I need these three for sure!!!
This set is amazing. Given the lower universality of the sculpts, they really needed to knock it out of the park, and they did. As simple as they are, my favorites are the Nymphs. Very pretty.
The minis at first didn't look all that special. Now after this video I see some minis I wish to pick up. Thanks for the enjoying content while I am "working"
That looks so interesting, I like the idea of old Greek mythology cities being around and maybe bleeding into the world of classic D&D and this opens a ton of ideas
I love the emissary of Erebos. The snake design is just perfect. The painting and texture is just perfect as well. And I love that they have the whole mini painted on the bottom.
Great infodump in the opening, glad you tell this information on how rarity and bricks and cases work. We always get a lot of such questions on Minisgallery and I always point them towards your guide. :D Though this set, maaaan it has changed things in pretty confusing ways with Large Rares replacing some Medium Rares. And with Rime of the Frostmaiden having also 9 Large/Huge Uncommons, I guess the 45 mini number instead of 44 is here to stay.
Great videos, keep it up! The Akroan Hoplite are hands down the coolest mini, I know kind of bland. I like the soldier units in every set, they always have some of the best reuse-ability.
Emissary of thassa is definitely my favorite mini, not sure why but just the transparent legs and the nice color pallete that's used there along with the pretty high quality sculpt just comes together extremely nicely
I love how he does full miniature reviews going through each miniature abd lore great for learning lore about creatures and for looking at the sets miniatures

My favorite has to be the griffon, it looks so much more majestic than any other Griffon miniature we’ve gotten
I agree, not a fan of the cape though. Like did you get that on yourself?
Ok, so usually when I see your videos I take notes of my favourite ones and those I'm going to need. And omg when we got to the centaurs and satyrs I was excited cause I could now cover those races. Very kind of you, Daniel! Thank you so much! Greetings from sunny California! :-) -Theo
So many brilliant minis! The one that I want to run the most is probably that new Basilisk or even even the Emissary of Thassa. Gotta love the big crab!
This channel is great. I can't believe how underrated it is.
The abhorrent Overlord looks like an awesome "Final Form" for Strahd if he's too easy for my players!
Yeah it looks like a nice Castlevania Dracula-style final transformation.
If Strahd is too easy then the DM is definitely not playing him right or the party is waaaaaay too strong
I love Medusa’s mini. It’s so detailed and looks hard to maintain.
The Emissary of Purphoros is 10000% me favourite mini. It's big and I love that colour with the small star sparkles. Simply beautiful.
The cyclops looked awesome! I like the fact that it's not in a static pose. The sculpt and the paint job, just looks great. I already have some ideas on how put it in game, both in and out of official D&D campaigns

My favorite mini is the emissary of Erebos, the paint design and reflective look of it makes the figure look so good, and more snake minis are always welcome in my book.
Just bought a booster the other day (first one in over a decade), and I'm super impressed with the quality!
All of the Emissary’s look amazing but the paint job on the Emissary of Erebos look spectacular and is definitely my favorite mini.
We appreaciate all the hard work you and Grady put into the channel and the DMs guild supplements!
Thank you so much! -Theo
I love love love That satyre fire dancer. It could work for so many things. Like a monk or sorcerer or eldritch knight. It's just so versatile!!
That Bull and the Serpent emissaries... how can you not love them :3
That chimera would look amazing in my first dnd campaign as a DM!
These videos have really helped keep the whole working from home thing palatable, so thanks for that!
Lots of neat minis in this set. Oddly, I think the griffon and the oracle were my faves from a FR perspective.
Setting aside, The mythical monsters were amazing.
Both Medusa look awesome as does the Griffin. Thanks for the video with all the lore about the creatures!
My fave has gotta be the fire dancer Satyr with that awesome fire effect
Also that Griffin is super cool
I love the "Erebos's Emissary" , the posture and the colour are great :-) !
The Emissary of Phurphoros was by far and away my favourite. I just love the use of colours and that starry look. I'm gonna have to look at tracking one down!
I really like the Leonin Swiftclaw and a cool new cat race is always a plus. Great video as always!
Thank you Theo and Grady! I'm sure that creating the amount of content you have been generating has been exhausting, keep up the wonderful work! Btw, I love love love the Emissary of Thassa.
Catoblepas! Love the paint and scult, can only imagine the surprised and fearful looks on the PCs if this creature gets put out on the battlefield :D
The Emissary of Erebos looks amazing. Without a doubt my favourite. You don’t usually see so much detail or such a good paint job on prepainted minis.
Another great informative video. I always look forward to these when new sets come out.
Always appreciate the full set reviews guys, looking forward to picking up a brick in the future. As always looking forward to the next vid
That Medusa figure is straight 🔥. There are several sculpts i like from this kit, but that is one I will get for sure.
The emissary of purphoros is SO cool! Aphemia is also cool, but real talk Arasta is hands down the thing I want most. These boxes are bringing it!
Great set! Thanks for the review. I'm in love with that emissary of porphoros. I think I'll be using that one in an encounter in a massive forge area with animated armor minions. My players are going to love the variety of hazards they can use in that one.
The Satyr Firedancer is incredible. It has so much dynamic movement for a mini! Though I must say that is the true for the entire set!
I had no idea there was a chimera in this set and was so excited to open it in my first booster. Its easily one of my favorite minis
Im just now getting into minis, love your channel, one of my favorite minis is the medusa!
Wow, different mythology figure, can't wait to get those, especially a big monsters, thanks you to bring it to my attention.......
Some great minis in there for regular d&d games too.
Love these video's!
Love the new content! So many mini’s!
Super excited for these minis. From the moment he went on screen, I loved the effect on the fire dancer! That's a must have mini 😱
jeez, your videos are SO complete. It is everything a buyer could possibly hope for. all the infos are there. Thank you really, this is professional work.

Has a one shot that might turn into an adventure with some friends, the setting is really nice and i love it
Can't decide which I like more, the Abhorrent Overlord, the Chromanticore, or the Medusas. Hythonia medusa mini is absolutely amazing. I love the background to the mini and look forward to getting some of these minis for myself.
There are so many cool sculpts in this set!! I really like the three emissaries, but I think the medusa is my favorite.
I really like Seona as my favourite mini from the set - such a good sculpt and paint job from an uncommon!
I thought my favorite was going to be the Nyx-fleece Ram but I am completely in love with the Medusa and the Griffon. Oh man, I'm gonna need to find some of these blind boxes. I need these three for sure!!!
I've been wanting to see these. I appreciate it.
Good stuff! Thanks for the review!
I love the emissaries, chromanticore and arastra. Great paint job, love the translucent and space efects
My favorite is definitely the Medusa... by far the best medusa sculpt from any set so far!
This set is amazing. Given the lower universality of the sculpts, they really needed to knock it out of the park, and they did. As simple as they are, my favorites are the Nymphs. Very pretty.
I love the Hutton is figure and the emissary of Erebos looks awesome and would be a great component to a crafted magic weapon!
Nymph, Naiad and Nightmare are the best looking Minis... they are now, thx to you, on my wishlist for Adventures for my kids :D
As a long time paladin player, I always get excited when there are new griffon minis. This new one is no exception.
Really great set! That Satyr Firedancer is just so badass, I have to go fro him as my favorite!
finally picked 2 boxes up myself, all of the figures look amazing I've loved all the new sets
Oh great! -Theo
I didn’t buy a brick but I wish I had now. The doomwake giant looks awesome. Thank you guys so much for the vids.
I realy loved the cyclops. It would be cool to get gifted the miniature as I am only starting to get into miniatures now. Loved the video.
Okay that nightmare mini is actually beautiful. Thanks for the lore too!
This was a great video, loved all the lore presented with the minis. I think Anthousa is my favorite mini in the set.
The minis at first didn't look all that special. Now after this video I see some minis I wish to pick up. Thanks for the enjoying content while I am "working"
Picked one up and got the Emissary of Purphoros. Pretty happy. I really like this set
That Chimera is so well done! I will introduce one to my campaign just to use that mini.
my favorite was hands down the Satyr! im so stoaked to play that race! Really cool! :D
Great video guys. I'm definitely going to try and get that medusa figure, it would work great for an encounter coming up in my campaign
That looks so interesting, I like the idea of old Greek mythology cities being around and maybe bleeding into the world of classic D&D and this opens a ton of ideas
I love the new tritons! I'm going to have to get some of those!
I love the emissary of Erebos. The snake design is just perfect. The painting and texture is just perfect as well. And I love that they have the whole mini painted on the bottom.
My favorite was the Cyclops, it’s such a dynamic pose that looks striking on the table!
It's very cool, wish he had a club though
I love Satyr so much! And as a classics geek, these minis are so cool!!
Wow this is a great set! I love the griffin
Medusa is probably the one I liked most. Does a great job displaying the an iconic figure.
I love the way the Basilisk looks in this set. I want it!
All the Emissary minis are great, but Erebos' sculpt and colour scheme is amazing. Versatile mini too
Theros is my favorite Magic set. I love Greek like mythology.
My favorite mini is the Emissary of Purphoros, that thing looks amazing!
Definitely the emissary of Erebos! Always a fan of serpent minis and this one looks really cool and unique compared to any we’ve gotten in the past.
I don't know why but I love the basilisk a TON for some reason.
Just in love with Emissary of Erebos, the paint job is amazing and the creature its so cool
I wish I could play these games but I feel like I’d not be good at this game as you’ve got you have a lot of knowledge about everything
Great videos, keep it up! The Akroan Hoplite are hands down the coolest mini, I know kind of bland. I like the soldier units in every set, they always have some of the best reuse-ability.
Emissary of Purphoros was my favorite miniature , it looks awesome ,it wasthe reason why I want to check this unboxing.
Really cool set! As a greek myself i found really unique and cool the Emissary of Phosphurus and the giant variant!
Absolutely love the mini for Arastra looks like a proper legendary monster to encounter, would love to put that mini on my gaming table!
Emissary of thassa is definitely my favorite mini, not sure why but just the transparent legs and the nice color pallete that's used there along with the pretty high quality sculpt just comes together extremely nicely
The Leonin Swiftclaw was one of my first MTG cards I ever got. I want to get that one for nostalgia now XD
