I was in full jirai in Ueno, i remember it was my last day in tokyo and i wanted to buy a sushi knife for my step dad. A guy in Ueno station, right by the police booth, was down his knees trying to see under my shorts in broad day light. He tried to nampa me but i ran away with my suitcase, i was so tired and i had to come back to the station in fear he would still be there... thank you for sharing your stories, being a girl in japan is not easy.

Oh my god???? I am so sorry! It’s amazing how much of this is done in broad daylight! A lot of my bad experiences have been in the daytime, like these guys do not care :(

I haven't had to use it yet but what I carry for self defense is actually a compact keychain flashlight that shines 1000 lumens. So if I did feel threatened I can just shine it in someone's eyes to blind them and run away in a worse case scenario

There have been a few instances of weird interactions I have had in Japan as well. One time I was in a book shop in Nakano and there were some books I was interested in on a bottom shelf, so I was kneeling to reach them when I suddenly feel a really hard kick to my side. I fell over and saw that some guy was waving me off to move. It was very shocking and I left right after. I love this book shop, but even a year later I am still very cautious when walking around in it.
It sucks that some people feel the need to be so inconsiderate and weird towards others. I'm sorry for your bad experiences, but I hope the good ones override them!

It's very important never go to your dwelling when you're followed. Don't think you're always in control or handle the situation once you're marked for creepy torment it's all over, until you move out and cops are not going to do anything because these creeps are cunning.

I’ve had plenty of creepy experiences, but if I had to share one, it was when I was returning to Japan and was at the airport.
I saw these two guys pushing women in some wheelchairs, and at first glance I thought nothing of it. Then when they came closer, I realized that the women were not real, but life-sized DOLLS.
The men weren’t doing anything inappropriate, and I’m trying not to judge people for their interests, but damn. It grossed me out.

I take it you haven't seen the critically acclaimed movie "Lars and the Real Girl" starring Ryan Gosling? ☺
the concept of wheeling around dolls was in mainstream consciousness already 17 years ago and now with lifelike speech AI they'll no doubt add some robot parts and soon enough they're going to start popping up everywhere.

Loosely used terms of affection in public like baby, honey, and sweetheart dissolute hapless people, because they believe it is normal to also bless the butt, or assume that the blessings of the butt is a ritual that is free from devotion, carrying and reassurance. The brazen offenders must of known from the beginning, and committed to their social path behavior, or were possessed by taboo. I would be cautious about the amount of black lacure furniture because of it's rich womanizing history.

And I believe if you really want to stop these accuracies, and I believe you do, that you could accessorize with a black wide brim hat; furthermore, if you don't like the hard western cowboy hat you could find a floppy one and it too will strike fear in the minds of unclean spirits that would of wanted to possess a spitualy week man. Or carry a note book. There's an author by the name of Carrie Ten Boom who always did and survived many travels and slept in thousands of beds. She even survived the concentration camps of Germany and returned to spread her message from the Lord.

I just want to share you that there is always love, hope, forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Jesus. If you come to Him with a sincere and humble repented heart, He can save you and forgive you and give you abundance of joy, love and peace and eternal life. Believe in Jesus: He is The Son of God, He died for our sins and He rose from the dead, Believe in Jesus.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” -Romans 10:9 Repent and Believe in Jesus.
