- Hello and welcome to the lunchtime crew's My Hero Academia Chapter Review! This is my review of the recent happenings in the newest My Hero Academia Manga Chapter. In this chapter, Dabi strikes FIRST, Monoma and Shinso steal the spotlight, and the heroes make their first big move in the war! Class 1A was so happy to see Shinso again and I’m surprised that Ojiro was happy to see him too and I thought he still don’t like him after the Cavalry Battle incident from U.A. Sports Festival

Really wholesome to see Vlad King supporting Monoma. Monoma for sure seems like a student favorite of his, as they are alike to brag about Class B. lol
Horikoshi seems to be one of the best mangaka at utilizing a large cast.
I’m so happy for Shinso, and Monoma, and look forward to the conclusion of Keeping Up With The Todorokis. That last will end with Enji and Toya crying as they hug it out, mark my words.
Of course I still suspect Toya will be rewound by Eri.
For some yeah, but the majority of the cast still have a lot to improve upon so that’s a giant stretch there
9:28, actually aside’s from IzuOcha, a part of me is hoping that Horikoshi doesn’t confirm anything. Because if he makes any other pairings canon, that’s going to open up a whole new can of worms on the shipping front.
Though the other side of me selfishly wants the others of the four horsemen pairings to be confirmed…

@@GarethOfByzantium Haha yeah, THOUGH for a moment I thought there might be a competition between him and Koda: i think that scene of them both encouraging her came down to Koda inspired by how she got him to come out of his shell. Honestly though THAT would an interesting conflict... someone who's a self-seen ladie's man (or at least acts like one), and a guy who's only just gotten enough confidence to TALK (no doubt related to his monster look). Haha I feel if Koda got competitive and started using cute animals to impress her.
Aside from them the only other one I think is canon, albeit in a very feather light, in the background way, is Hagakure and Oijriou. Though what i'd really like to see be their climax is them somehow rescuing Shoto, to bring back all 3 of their introductions, and Shoto can say he no longer thinks he's on another level.
I think Izuocha is Canon ! Basically Izuocha is the only ship that mostly Canon! So if they don't get together, I will be so mad!
I also love how they embraced Shinso so easily, just like they did Deku.
I love how they use coward almost like a slur for Machiavellian and art of war type antagonists.
antagonists who know they can’t win a direct confrontation so they have to hide behind armies.
All of this makes me wonder if All For One's end goal is so simple. For someone so coated in mystery, it would be odd for his grand plan to just be simply world domination.
It's never been done before. Every villian always fails at that goal. If he pulls it off he's original
I wouldn't be surprised. He could pull off a new power and I wouldn't gasp.
He's goal is kinda modern and realistic, not just a goal for a lame villain
AFO, like his QUirk is basically just "Take as much as I can, and no amount will ever be enough". That's what that sort of power does to you
I mean to a decent degree, he is depicted as a classic comicbook villain. lol
When I saw All for one's new helmet I was thinking "Batman called he wants his ears back."

I know some people theorized Shirakumo coming back (even if briefly) in time to help the heroes for the war, but so glad it's more logical with Monoma using Kurogiri's quirk. Avoids the 'power of friendship' convenience while giving Monoma a key role to play.

Hopefully with the setup of one on one battles, Horikoshi makes the most of it and gives everyone(especially those that have been neglected this third act) a chance to shine. Hopefully with a few curve balls here and there.
Here’s to hoping. Someone actually pointed out that this setup is similar to Demon Slayer’s finale or Mortal Kombat.
Haha from the looks of it the villians greatly outnumber the heroes, so I feel ALL the Class 1a AND B, AND some of the other schools students AND the pro heroes will be given PLENTY to do, as there's plenty of fodder to go around. No doubt the plot will end up with AFO finally taking over Shigaraki's body fully, and Deku and Class 1A boxed off with him, and it'll be them vs AFO-Shiggy.
With all that’s gonna happen, I doubt it

With Spinner, Skeptic and an army of heteromorphs are still out there, anything can happened. WIll Stain even join this fight? Even I do not know that. But what I do know is that the fact that neither Aizawa or Present Mic mentioned Nemuri's death to Kurogiri in an attempt to bring Oboro out is not so satisfying like at all! After all, it is obvious that Oboro has a crush on her!
Really? I didn’t even consider that, but that could have been a really cool way for aizawa to resch oboro
@@carlossuarez4702 I think also that maybe makes Kurogiri doubt working for All for One is learning that the villians plan to take complete control of Tomura's body which would greatly conflict the command to protect Tomura. This might help Kurogiri maybe want to work with Oboro's part in his head.

It was pretty interesting to see Monoma get his time to shine like that so kudos. And Shinso’s trick was clever. Though even with all that and the separation plan, I really don’t see how AFO doesn’t have a plan for this. This is probably gonna be the scenario where heroes get the upper hand for a bit but soon something devastating happens. Like the last war but much more chaotic. It really needs to happen

And that avengers portal thing is a reference to captain America saying on your left to Falcon when they are racing XD

There are definitely going to be some throw away heroes in the mix....buuuuuut if there aren't then things will be a lot more interesting!
I wonder if Villains like Stain, Overhaul, The Yakusa, Gentle, La Brava, and also Lady Nagant will fight alongside Pro Heroes like Burnin, and also Grand Torino?
I can't tell if they're going to come back and I know Stain will show up later chapters whether he's still a villain or not & Overhaul is armless & quirkless cause Shigaraki & Mr. Compress both cut his hands off & Yakuza is useless they'll lose again just like Shie Hassaikai & as for Gentle Criminal & La Brava we don't know they're ever going to come back but I heard they're in prison & the officers say they're going to give them a chance to redeem themselves back in U.A. School Festival
@@Rjay0922 Kendo Rappa is possibly one that is a fan favoruite people would like to see come back and if he was in the fight with the ProHeroes, yeah pretty sure the number of miner villians in that army All For One has would be signigicantly reduced, permentatly

@@Rjay0922 Maybe but I was talking about Kendo fighting alongside Red Riot, mostly cause the only reason he was working with Overhaul is cause he wanted to beat him. Also Kendo also is good friend of Rumi aka Mirko back when she was a hero in training they fought together in the Undeground masquerade an event cause also by All for One. If he were to join the battle I am sure he'd pick to fight alongside two people he greatly respects if only so that he could fight them someday.

I hope that Pro Heroes like Ryukyu, Kamui Woods, Ms. Joke, Sirius, Selkie, Mount Lady, Best Jeanist, Hawk's, Forth Kind, Uwabami Backdraft, Hound Dog, Bubble Girl, Ectoplasm, Vlad King, Cementoss, Snipes, Thirteen, Eraser, also The Wild Wild Pussycats Mountain Rescue team will all have Important Part's all in this final Second War against all the Different Villains and also All For One!
I was happy to see Class 1A & Shinso return from flashbacks & Monoma's Warp Gate cause all of them were absent from last Chapter 343 it was just only Midoriya & Aoyama with All for One & then Shigaraki, Dabi, Toga, Six Near High-Ends, Habit Headgear & other villains from Paranormal Liberation Fronts & League of Villains shows up from Warping last week but in the end of Chapter 343 almost everyone from Pro Heroes shows up like Endeavor, Mirko, Wash, Fat Gum, Edgeshot, Gang Orca, Pixie-Bob, Shishido, Onima, Phantom Thief, Nejire Chan & Suneater shows up too from Warp Gate & I also hope Pro Heroes like Centipede, Rock Lock & students like Lemillion, Class 1B, Hatsume, Ketsubutsu High & Shiketsu High shows up & get their important role in the Second War too
Also I know it doesn't get talk enough but can we also give props to Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady's that throughout the series were given significant character development as it went on. Kamui was the new hero who was on the rise making a name for himself so much that he made it into the Top 10 in the latest Hero Rankings while Mount Lady was a hero that was obviously an example of a hero who was only in it for the fame and glory. However both are some of the remainign heroes still active despite the public backlash and have come to be some of the fan favourites I think due to it.
My only regret is it was confirmed Death Arms had retired due to not being able to handle all the negative backlash but it shows with Mt Lady saddened by it how much of a friend she thought of him.
Pro Hero Sirius needs to become Canon to the My Hero Academia Manga Series though before the end of the My Hero Academia Manga Series!
So it is villians vs heroes and AFO has let all the villians out from prisons and there is one person we haven't seen in a long time with a dream to be in the history books, my theory is gentle will come out and give his life to help take down all for one giving his life and getting his name in history books

If that were going to happen All For One will just captures Deku during the Second War then plan an Execution Performances by stealing One for All quirk & then he’ll kill him & I know Pro Heroes & Class 1A won’t let that happen

It would be bad writing if everybody on the heroes’ side gets out of this completely unscathed. Somebody from class 1A has to die.
Unfortunately it seems like Monoma might actually be an early casualty in this war (but not before taking out a majority of the villains) since he just had a big moment that one could easily discern as the completion of his overall arc.

Midnight was the only other recent significant character death.
And before you say Stars & Stripes we only got to hang out with her for like three chapters that doesn’t count as a significant character. She’s hardly a character. Her death was literally just an allegory to prove that America ain’t all that.

I'm over here like so who are my boys gonna fight. Like who is bakugo and kirishima gonna fight. Also how many fights will be in this over size war. There are tons of villains. Who will have more then 2 fights who will die and not die.

Depends on what happens. I don't mind people not dying as long as there are decent repercussions and consequences for everyones actions. In my opinion, I don't want every character on either side coming out of this fight the same way they are coming in. Some heroes need to come out changed and so do some villains. Otherwise I feel it will be hard for it not to be a let down.

I guess everyone (most people not me) thought that Daby was going to be the next Obito 🤔 , but honestly that probably going to Shigaraki or Toga! Blame the blue flames and scars! Made people go crazy! I just wish they would of left TOYA dead and instead have Daby be the Gardners kid who was friends with TOYA. So he would have known about a lot of what happened!
