We were in Sweden 🇸🇪 in 1976 and heard this for the first time over one of the radio stationer.
Svenska är ett så vackert språk. Jag har lärt mig det senaste och ett halvt året och det är fantastiskt att höra sånger jag känner igen och deras naturliga svenska.
Way better than the English, simply for the reason that this is their mother language. I love it!

@sarahhashish1784. Why would you say that? If you can’t speak Swedish you can’t have a clue as to how poor the lyrics actually are! If you can speak Swedish, can you try to explain why the lyrics include the Swedish words meaning ‘ you are dance, you are song’? It doesn’t make any sense in English but it also doesn’t make any sense in Swedish either!
So proud to say that my Swedish has improved. I can now pronounce everything properly and understand the lyrics completely. 👏🏻
