I know that it is well known for Hospitality Restaurant Management, Engineering. Plus there are some that I know who have graduated from there. It is less than 10 miles from home for me. I know some assistant baseball coaches, a women's basketball assistant coach. There is a kinesiology major available which appeals to me. Participate in one or multiple clubs, other extra curricular activities and have a wonderful university experience. That applies to all universities.

I was recently accepted into Berkeley for EECS, but CPP is looking like a better option for me day after day! What is your experience with job fairs and recruitment for computer science jobs?
Just took their tour today, they seem to have a pretty decent EE and CS program (#11 in the country). Got to speak with some seniors and they were really nice. Food options at the school seem to be lacking though lol
I know I am a bit late, but I'm a senior in high school and CPP is one of my top universities as of now. Do you know how well their biology major is? I'm thinking about minoring in chemistry as well :)

Yes, virtual has been tough. Congrats on graduating, though! Aerospace is super cool :) Drive-in + virtual ceremonies will be interesting. At least it's something!

@@themac9677 ah I’m sorry, I totally misread your first comment! Stay strong. I know it’s been challenging with virtual classes, but it makes going back in person more special I think! Join clubs/Discord channels related to your interests so you can still build community :)

@@mxgzs Wow, so as an update I graduated in June of last year and was immediately hired as a systems test engineer at Northrop Grumman. Hindsight is 20/20 and I would say that I'm glad that I went to CPP for engineering. I've found that my aptitude for understanding and being able to grasp many of the challenges or areas outside my discipline at work is quite compared to many other individuals. I'm not special as a person I attribute this aptitude to the level of opportunity and skill CPPs engineering provides in conjunction with my discipline and drive to be successful. I hope your journey is fruitful no matter what path you choose or what university you attend
When you took physics classes, what was it about?
I am Fullerton college student and I already passed General Physics1 and am currently taking Physics 2.
I know it depends on what major I am taking, but I would like to ask you how many physics I should take (my major is mechanical engineering).
My second question is that I apply for CPP in this winter break and I wonder what's maximum GPA I must have to get in this college.

Hi! Thank you for commenting :) I took two semesters of Physics. The first was mainly on mechanics, like Newton’s laws, statics, kinematics, etc. The second class was on electricity & magnetism, for which I remember drawing many, many dc circuits 😆

Did you go with CPP!? I have a few friends who attended the College of Business (aka CBA) for Management and Human Resources (www.cpp.edu/cba/management-and-human-resources/). They were happy overall. I took a business communication class, which I thought was helpful. The CBA also has tons of great clubs! I would advise you to check out Cal State Fullerton too, as I hear that have an incredible business program!

Hi Brianna! I’d say if you have a solid application that demonstrates “well-rounded-ness,” you have a strong chance of getting in. Use vivid examples to showcase all your relevant experience. List out the experiences that you may want to tie in, including any impactful AP classes you’ve taken, community service stories, job experience/leadership roles where you learned collaboration/soft skills in general, or any hobbies/passion projects that could help you positively stand out. I went into the undergraduate program with little coding experience, and now I code every day at work! Just do a little bit every day, and you'll go far.
I'm not sure what you're asking in the last question, but I also am not well versed with the graduate program. As an undergrad, I took about 15 units per semester.

Congrats, i ended up going to uc merced cause I didn't want to be close to home. I received a lot of backlash from my counselor/peers in hs for choosing merced but it paid off for me big time. I still have yet to visit the campus and I live down the street from it 😅
is the psychology major good at CPP?

Transfer student, I got accepted for an engineering major but unfortunately I need to drop a STEM class in my last semester at CCC, Will this affect my application?
It was math class, and dropped because already taking 18 units

Is CPP a great school for political science major?
Hey Galilea! I asked a good friend of mine who's graduating this semester as a political science major. He notes that if you lean towards the progressive side of things, it's a great major to choose. There's also only about 20 professors in the whole department. As far as the workload, it is relatively very light compared to other majors.

I'm a business major and debating between CPP or LA 🤯. Do you know of any good business major clubs?
Hi Karina! I asked my friend who’s a Human Resources & Finance double major. He says, “American Marketing Association is probably our biggest club in the college of business followed by PIHRA.” And if you’re If looking for a fraternity, he says there are three & they’re good. Hope this helps!
