That scene from Pirates of the Caribbean is literally me every time I get a new spider/tarantula 😂 Your videos have really helped me demolish my fear of *all* spiders, and that is something I'm truly grateful for 😊💙 Unrelated, but hopefully getting a pair of jumping spiders soon!!!
There’s like 10 different species just right outside on the porch... come to the big country in Texas get’em for free. We have different species of Wolf spiders too, we have tarantulas, brown recluse, and Black widow
We got a _little_ taste of the huntsman's speed when it spun and took down the fruit fly at 4:38 (just as you were beginning to speak about how fast it is lol). Pretty cool! 👍🏻
I thought for the longest time I was scared of spiders. But I keep coming and watching your videos and find them more adorable every time XD I think they're magnificent creatures and I've been looking spiders and tarantulas up for a few years now. Anyone else has a fear/curiosity (fearosity?) XD
The jumpers and velvet are super cute! I'm really intrigued by the trapdoor I remember its oreo butt from when you unboxed her but they freak me out so much!🙈
I really like the jumping spiders, they are so cute. But I must say the trapdoor spider with this perculiar abdomen is nice too. 😊 You should get a golden orb weaver spider, the one with the golden silk. They are beautiful.
O. O yes but they are so big, I saw them on the brave wilderness Channel, and this guy is really amazing really cool, his videos are so interesting and informativ it's unbelievable. But this one spider is really giving me goosbombs all over my skin.
Cute????? A baby is cute a puppy is cute Liam Gallagher is cute a spider is a nasty ass bug that needs to be left well alone failing that a good stomp will do the trick
those male jumpers are the bees knees. also really cool to see the difference between true spiders and tarantulas with the hunstman clip. i couldn't get my head around side moving chelicerae until then.
Kat, I admire how well you take care of the spiders. I am proud of myself for watching your videos. I am basically an arachnophobic but find your videos very interesting. I just would never get up close to them. Be well.
Yes, you should be proud of yourself for facing your fear of spiders! That's basically KBT without the need to pay a psychologist for it. :) If you keep it up, I'd be willing to bet that your arachnophobia will get better.
I found a regal jumping spider in my bathroom and let him be, he was in my closet today but I moved him to a ceiling corner in my room and fed him some smaller spiders I’ve found around the house. His name is now slink. He’s precious
I have a regal jumping spider that lives on the side of my house lol everymorning I go outside and see it and let it walk on my hands and arms for a bit then let it back down lol I love it so much
Holy crap i only now realized you're in missouri! Thats so awesome. I only more recently have been watching more and I have lived in Columbia my whole life so far and i love it here. Also i agree, the jumping spiders are very pretty to see when they show up in the more rural areas. ^~^
Since were on the subject of brown recluses: Last week I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and when I opened my door, I noticed a female brown recluse spider that was just chillin on top of the carpet,& under my closed bedroom door. I managed to catch her with a cup and then slid a thin piece of cardboard underneath the cup and let her go free outside. 👍🏼
The jumping spiders you got aren’t common all over they are just found in the south east. However Phidippus audax, a species that closely resembles regius, is found through the United States
spiders give my full body goosebumps and shivers even through a screen but I still continue finding all these spider youtubers and I can't look away D: pls help
So happy to have found this video!!!! A brown recluse made it's way into my home and I've been wondering if I should keep him as a pet....now I know I can 😊🥰🥰🌝
I love u Kat I just love your videos they give me a lot of information about tarantula care and now I want a tarantula bc u showed me how amazing and fascinating tarantulas can be love u kat
I came back to this video just to let you know I’m getting a jumping spider during Christmas and yes I know the dangerous of keeping insects reptiles etc. in the cold but I will be adding a heatish source(Not a Heater just keeping it in a warm room)
I am getting over my fear sort of. We have Dock spiders the size of your hand here and wolf spiders are what I fear. I litterly feel faint, have to tell myself if you faint you will loose him. I carry spider spray everywhere. I am getting better. Held 2 jumping spiders this year and let a black house spider that slept with me live, after crawling on my face. Shivers orbs spiders which come out at night make me want to faint. We have some big spiders up here in Northern Canada!!
I had a little wolf spider that I found but she was really fat. I knew she was about to lay eggs so I kept her in a container overnight and she had her babies! I let her free but kept the eggs. About a month later the eggs hatched into tiny little babies, I fed them and when they were a little older I set them free too.
jumping spiders are so nice almost the only true spider I have is a P regius it is so cute. the only other one I have is just a house spider that I caught last month that I think was starving or dehydrated it was very thin and it spent like two hours drinking water when I gave it a water bowl. but I am feeding it up and I will let it go again soon.
A very nice little video. Here in Sweden we see plenty of T Domestica and N Umbratica. Very cool species and extremely fast, even though the Umbratica is an orb weaver. Stay safe, take care🕸🕷️.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Scientific names a cam be real tongue twisters! Hard to beat jumping spiders for personality! I love Wednesday too. We have similar species here in Ohio. The Chinese trapdoor spider is new to me and I’m going to check it out. The best thing about spiders is they really require very little care. But the jumping spiders you should probably interact with regularly just because they are so intelligent and inquisitive and always on the hunt for a meal!
I plan on getting trap door spiders and wolf spiders as the true spiders in my collection. I would love to have jumping spiders of all kinds, but a certain loved one of mine forbids it...
i have been bitten by the Brown Recluse 3x..so far. The first time was pretty bad. cost me some bone in my arm. The subsequent two were mostly dry bites.
Hey, I love the videos, and just letting you know that I KNOW someone who's hand was half amputated after a brown recluse bite. I'm confused what your stance is on it is, but thought I would let you know. That's the only case I know that severe, and the only other one or two people I know who got wet bit just got a small hole packed with gauze.
I love the jumping spider when it looks at you, it looks like its thinking about something. Why did the brown recluse eat the eggs? Doesn't the huntsman have a 1ft leg span? or is that a different species
Heteropoda davidbowie are my favourite spider (named after my favourite singer) and they're native to where I live so I see them often while herping which is great for me because I don't know if I'd be good at keeping one as a pet lmao
Where did you get your love of spiders. I randomly came across your channel. I have a fear of spiders as my old sister would chace me around the house with a spider on the end of a broom.
I've gotten into the habit of looking for random jumping spiders (more like some of them find me lol) really love the fb group for them and learning what species it is that I find. Though I'm not able to keep any sadly :( it's still fun. Though if I find any in my room I'm tempted to let them stay lol well if I can keep their food supply going. XD
Nice video on these jumping spider's , I started watching these videos on them and found out they make good pet's & not to hard to care for , I see them once in a while around my shop , never killed one and now know not to the little bugger's are fast and was thinking of getting one or two as pet's but not sure if I should start out with one from ordering one or a wild one that may be harder to gain my trust 🤔🤔 what would suggest ? Since you be handling for a couple of years 👍✌🕸🕷
I love how you put a bit of Jack sparrow in there 😂 😂 😂 😂 you have earned my sub my good lady 😂 😂 😂 😂 on a serious note looking forward to seeing some more of your videos xxx
What made you get in to the tarantula hobby ??? And also can you do a Q& A please ?? I’d love to ask questions and I’m sure I’m not the only one !!! Sending love and support from Windsor Ontario ... and also I’m new to patreon, and I’d love to learn more about these fascinating but creepy creatures 🕷🕷🕷🕷
Kat: I got over my fear of spiders
Also Kat: *sees an ant* I WILL DIE
@@654wsj She could also keep ants :D.
To be fair, I'd react exactly the same. =) I'm quite fond of spiders, but for some reason, I feel uncomfortable around ants.
@@joppek77 same
@@joppek77 ants are scarier lets be real. bullet ants for example.
The jumping spider in the begining was soooo cute
They are the best, my absolute most favorite spider and have helped me to get over my fear of spiders.
Agree! I have a pet jumper too. She has a lot of personality 🥺
I WANT ONE
That scene from Pirates of the Caribbean is literally me every time I get a new spider/tarantula 😂 Your videos have really helped me demolish my fear of *all* spiders, and that is something I'm truly grateful for 😊💙 Unrelated, but hopefully getting a pair of jumping spiders soon!!!
Jumping spiders are adorable! I'm going to be getting a pair this Monday or Tuesday. Planning on breeding them in the future as well
There’s like 10 different species just right outside on the porch... come to the big country in Texas get’em for free.
We have different species of Wolf spiders too, we have tarantulas, brown recluse, and Black widow
@@MrTomkat030 Unfortunately I live in the UK where there isn't much jumping spiders around like the US and the ones that do live here are tiny
@@greensapling342 there are species of jumping spiders in the uk just a little smaller than the ones in this video
Same ! I’m getting 2 regal jumpers tomorrow!!
@@DdraigGoch84 coulda solved the problem by burning down the house
Jumping spiders will always be the cutest, but your velvet comes in a close second 😊
The little velvet spider 😍😭 I can’t it’s so cute!!! It almost looks unreal with those super cute eyes
jumping spiders are just the cutest! lovely video Kat!
We got a _little_ taste of the huntsman's speed when it spun and took down the fruit fly at 4:38 (just as you were beginning to speak about how fast it is lol). Pretty cool! 👍🏻

WOW!! That's a great collection Kat. I could watch your videos all day long. Take care beautiful Kat. 😍
Wow. I am so glad that so many people love spiders ! I didn't know until UA-cam.
The velvet is really cute. My favorite of all those. But that recluse gives me the shivers...
You should add a linothele megatheloides to your true spiders collection. They're amazing
Cool spiders. My favourites are the jumpers. They are just adorable. Those and Gandanamenos have such cute faces, awww.
I like the stickers on her laptop and the eevee plushie in the background, jumping spiders are pretty cute though
I have a southern black widow as my only true spider atm. I love her so much!!!
Love your videos. And the velvet spider is so cute. You should get more jumping spiders. They are adorable.
I’m also a spider lover in Missouri. I was pleased to find out that you are as well!

I felt that velvet slider doing a whole introduction to the camera such a sweetheart >~
The jar of dirt made me cry, love your videos :)

Cat faced spider :) have it hang out in a diy orb web frame outside and have it catch mosquitoes

Ok, love the rump on that Chinese spider, but Wednesday is my favorite lil spooder

Where did you get the tiny enclosures from ?
Loved the video - you need a black widow spider.
I've never heard someone pronounce the word egg like she's doing in the video. It's interesting.
