Sooooo for most of my life I've been absolutely terrified of spiders up until the last few years. Whenever I see a spider now I try and save it and take it out. And now I'm even thinking of even getting a pet spider. It's so crazy how your perspective on something can change!

It's not the huge spiders that are scary. It's not the tiny ones either. It's the MEDIUM ONES!!!

Excellent video (not sure if ranking them means anything though...I was interested in just seeing what different animals you would highlight. I'll also offer that I think the broader coverage of invert keeping (rather than spiders or whatever specifically) is something that will help you carve out a niche for your channel. Also, I've been educated as I'd never even heard of the black hole spider before but have now looked them up----they're very compelling options for a true spiders as the females seem to live for 5-7 years, putting them on par with velvet spiders which is, being fair, pretty good for a true spider. I'll be keeping my eyes open for those now...they seem to be very common in the US market but I've never seen them offered here in Canada. Would love to have one.

I hope you enjoyed! It was so hard to pick the top animals because I love all inverts! Def keep you’re eyes open for a black hole and let me know if you find one! They’re a great alternative to some of the super trendy spiders

5:29 I have ghost mantises and I've tried to keep them communal. One was eaten and the other's arm was eaten off. I realized it was my fault because I didn't have them in a well-lit area so I noticed they were pretty much crowding to try and get the natural light - so keep this in mind for anyone who will be keeping them communal! Even light.
I ended up separating them because I don't have a space with even light in my room. So sad!

Hey 👋 I heard about your channel from another content creator, they said I should ask you about what so good scorpion to keep would be, do you have a discord? Your email on your YT account won’t show up.
