wat will they think of nxt, lol .....
the desire to eat stuff that is not edible it's a sickness usually related to the kidneys and their failure
You could literally stir fry anything else like plain rice and it's still more edible than this
It’s not supposed to be eaten, you pay for the taste.
@@Aztec1050 by that logic we should pay for samples 😂

Even just for experience, I'd rather not. There seems to be more pebbles than edible ingredients in the dish too.

I finally knew what The Rock is cooking...
Bahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!
You win 😂
But can you smell it?
😅😂🤣 you win sir 👍

In other news, park authorities are puzzled as to why tumbled stones are disappearing from a local fountain.
Fun fact: Suodiu (嗦丢) originates from Enshi (Hubei province). Boatmen back then used stones/pebbles found in freshwater if they could not get any fish (preservations wasn't used back then). When cooked, the rocks (pebbles) would taste like fish.
It's still pretty nasty though.

Choking hazard: 👁️👄👁️
As a Chinese, I heard about this dish a long time ago, this dish is mainly eating ingredients on stone. But this dish I never saw, and I didn't know until recently that this dish was on fire online. What is reflected is that China's current economy is very bad, and the people have do everything to stimulate the economy, resulting in the birth of many "Internet celebrity" products. These influencer products are only all the rage, but compared with the useless economists in China, the spontaneous behavior of the people is particularly useful for stimulating the economy. This is a tragedy.
Many thanks, mr/ms chinese person.
China is not alone in humiliating its citizens by trying to force these insane trends. Many in the west are trying to force people to eat bugs too. I think the "upper class" of the world was resenting the (in their eyes) unearned prosperity of the peasent class, and is trying to bring them down to make themselves feel better.
People in the siege of Μεσολόγγι to cover the hunger that the turks caused by blocking naval trade they ate seaweed dogs cats bugs and even dead bodies the fact that this is what you Chinese come up to eat is really what makes me laugh so hard China trully amazing they made my ancestors rethink their food choices after getting shot by the turks
Impressive instead of copying something from our Greek cuisine you took rocks and said hmm yes I can fry them and eat them no hate to the people of China but seriously you struggled to make your own pens
China is a economy that needs other countries to sustain itself
You have lose 20 social credit
I very much agree with the observation of how these “influencers” are part of a phenomenon encouraging very low-value(to society) content/products and how this is becoming so common in stimulating otherwise struggling economies in developed countries like China and the US.
"Stone Soup" comes to mind.
Maybe the boatman from centuries ago was scamming someone out of their garlic, oil, and peppers.
I remember that book. They suckered all the villagers to pitch in with different ingredients, which, at the end, turned to be more than stone soup.
Learn to hustle
I cannot believe this is actually real
Socialism. Poor as f.
I know a brilliant salesman who could sell ice to an Eskimo. A more brilliant salesman could sell inedible rocks to people as stir fry!
Well we already know brilliant salesman tried to sell his paintings even tho he cant even draw.
Wait until you see the fried ice video...
This same channel showed stir fried ice. I kid you not!
Believe it or not, the economy is just very bad in China. This isn’t even funny, it’s just sad.
That's gotta be rich in minerals! 😂
Pretty metal if you ask me
Imagine swallowing it by accident 😂😂
U choke and possibly die :)
Death
Pretty sure it was so yummy someone took a bite.
Exactly! My tots too!
Imagine someone suddenly swallowing it and not cocking on it. There's 2 options either you have to force it out up or down both is still worst.
Third option have a doctor surgically remove it from the stomach costing even more that the $ 2.30 you paid for.
If they aren't careful about what the pebbles actually are they could poison someone via chemical reaction and/or leaching material from them..
That not how chemical reaction works...
@@blooddemonart3860that is wumao
They don’t care, ie bat soup.
@@quentinlemaitre2998 you realize most bats are eaten in Africa and and Southeast Asia right
Then it’s the US and China after that
@@blooddemonart3860 If the food is acidic and the rock is able to be dissolved by weak acid, that's a chemical reaction. Depending on what it is it might react otherwise, as well.
Just another day in China.
Diners who said these pebbles are delicious dish is no different from the king who parade himself wearing an invisible clothes.
This is some massive choking hazard, with added teeth shattering tendencies.
I bet their dentists love it.... 😂
That's a Heavy Meal 😮.
And definitely not a happy one, I guess.
That dish rocks🫢
I hope nobody will accidentally swallowed or choked on those pebbles. I personally wouldn't take that risk.
I'm sure some will. People choke on real food, they will choke on rocks.
Why do they even publish this publicly. Our children can watch this you know. A disaster is just around the corner for our innocent kids.
@@nazara9878coz it isn't youtube's/the internet's job to teach your children. If you think your children are such morons, maybe don't let them go on the internet :)
Especially pebbles, so slippery
Did they ever stop to think that maybe those boatmen had gone completely insane once they saw them start to eat rocks
Why so much anti India hatred in the comments section of a chinese media video which has got absolutely nothing to do with India!?
Ya i see a lot a thing too, not just an indian, but also other...
Exactly
probably cause of associations of indian food with this
It's probably a campaign of the Chinese propaganda department, not just anti India, a lot of bot accounts pretend to be Indian to make India look bad. They would say things like "China is so advanced, we Indian are still very poor and wish to be Chinese...."
What Indian?
You can also add milk to the pebbles for a hearty breakfast ❤
So it’s come to this.
I ever visiting Beijing street market and i saw a starfish skewer and its looks hard as rock as well
I need concrete kabab with lime stone and marble Malai masala
Watching the video reminded me one of my favorite folk tales from my childhood! The stone soup.😅😁
Same.
in my place there are a variation called "boot soup"..that nasty af..
Same. We had a chapter called "Stone soup in Bohemia". Amazing chapter.
That grill work is flawless

Same. But in this one, they actually made it a business venture. 😅
After you eat you can re use it mixed with sand and cement for construction 🚧 china is amazing 🤩
pebbles soup is very famous in france it's a real legend
Why don't you put something edible instead of stones. That would be delicious
That would be just a normal thing not some trendy internet-hungry-for-likes things. They would do anything to become viral on social media.
The guy invented this must have 1m social credit plus a gold medal entrepreneur.
Credit score*
America has a social credit score but it's just called a credit score because we don't actually care about your moral character
@@alvinyakitori8720 it actually inspired the Chinese one, but the Chinese one is less intrusive. Credit score could dictate whether you have a car and a home or not. And not having a car means not having a job...

the creativity of these comments got me rolling 🤣
There was this one time in band camp my Chinese classmate brought this then an hour later I caught him out the back of the food hall and he was sh*tting out a tiny house made of pebbles. It was amazing.
Well if this snack was invented centuries ago and this guy is still in business then there must be something 👍 about it.
No it wasn't
or it never really had much history at all. I could be wrong but it's always valuable to be skeptical
So this is the kind of people who buy NFTs.
People will waste their money on anything
@@scootergrant8683 I did had a history. There are cooking stones that are used in dishes such as pastas and soups. They essentially act like sea flavoring to the dishes since most rocks/pebbles used for cooking are from the sea, rivers, and or oceans. This also applied to big rock salts where you could guess what it is used for.
Those food are considered as famine food since they are mostly foraged in the wild and used in times of severe shortage of food for the poor who cannot afford meals. Lobsters, oysters, scrapped fish parts, scorpions, seaweed, and spiders are considered famine food, which nowadays, are a delicacy and are now more expensive.
Nonsense.
What a f'd up idea!! I think now that I'm going to go out to stir fry my driveway
I rather eat this then plastic food being sold as real one
Are the stones reusable or disposable 🤔
They arent supposed to be used as food to begin with.....
Might end up getting kidney stones in long term..
Huh? That's not how you get kidney stones...
