Thanks for sharing Randy - I too have suffered a huge loss, something that would have been life-changing in the best way. I appreciate you sharing because many wouldn't. The haters on here are effing stupid. I haven't read the comments in a while, but they need to get some couch time with a professional.
Thanks for sharing that story. That was a rough one. We're all human. That would be hard for anybody. I really do feel for you on that one. Seriously that hurts to hear it. Much less going through it.
I am 74, never heard such a sad story. Randy you have suffered so much. Now on top of it all, forward facing sonar has come to push you off the boat. I hate to tell you this but this is life. Life has let you live to be a bitter old man. Club meeting at 7:00 Tuesday.
I'm 86 and fished 436 local tournaments plus 5 pro-am BASS tournaments as an amateur and you negatives don't have any idea what angles go thru. There's the weigh master doing what Fish Fishburn did ,people getting on your spots that you worked on for hours droping brush in a spot and worst to all those who cheat ever tournament and the rich guys who have 3 $10,000 forward facing sonars . 9:42 on
Thanks for the video, Randy. The tournament was not a Top 150 tournament. That moniker was dropped after the 2001 season. The tournament, held in 2002, was called a "Bassmaster Tour" tournament.
what do you think of sports therapy? do you think taking therapy after those two tournaments could have helped? do you think or do you know bass fishermen that have used sports therapy regularly or correctively and improved afterwards?
After listening to you for these few years you have been on utube that is the story of your life, one disappointing loss after another , do you have any stories where you pulled one out of your ass and won by 5 ounces that would be a nice story for a change .
That's a brutal series of events! I can certainly see how that would affect anyone trying to compete at that level. The mental game is so huge!

WOW!! I can't believe they changed the rules mid-tournament and that cost you 900k.
Good story! 😁 👍
How much did second place pay out?

I watched that Eufaula tournament on UA-cam. I think Denny Brauer ended up winning it.
Good stuff,i can relate.

What did Fisburn do?
Awesome Story
Stupid and unfair that they zeroed weights on the last day for a while. You should be a millionaire.

If you ask me that Tournament should have been a Tie ! Any other time I’ve seen where the judges use the low number , Fish Fishbourn is not too bright

Only one winner is allowed… ya could of bought yourself a ribbon or a participation trophy and called it a day

Go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
I miss watching Hot Rod Johnson fish. Too bad he got caught cheating
I think tournaments should be fished on private lakes only not on public bodies of water
Cant blame Bassmaster for that your the one fishing. Lifes tough move on
