We miss you Jolly Mon and would love to hear what you are up to. We are also boaters in the NW and in fact ran into you at the Ballard locks several years ago. We are retiring soon and would love to cross paths out on the water next summer. Safe travels
Stumbled onto your channel. Enjoying your videos very much in a beautiful part of the world. Will be looking forward to more . Lyn from Tasmania, Australia
Steve, as always another great video. I just realized something while watching it. I find myself always smiling while watching your videos. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say “your videos bring peace and joy to me when I watch”. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your travels. Your living the lifestyle many of us can only dream of. Motor on my man...motor on!
Thanks for the updates Steve. Glad to see you so happy and content. Love your channel and your knowledge of the islands. My spouse and I are talking about downsizing and selling our 3,000 sq ft. home. We just purchased a new to us 2000 42’ Nordic Tug (Cuckoo’s Nest) in Anacortes in March and absolutely love it. This is our 4th different boat together and our favorite by far. We are discovering that we enjoy our time on board the boat more than we do in our big house. Eventual life plan is to spend our summer seasons up here cruising and winters in Florida where my spouse grew up. Can’t wait to make that change! Hope to see you make more videos of Jolly Mon and your new road rig! -Mark
Glad to see you back Steve! I couldn’t agree more; after selling it all and simplifying my life living aboard, I’m so much happier. Less IS more! Looking forward to the videos to come!
@@mvjollymon34 I am looking at a Tollycraft 28 that is for sale right now and he is saying he burns 3.5 gallons/hour at 7 knots. Is that what you are getting at hull speed?
That sounds about right. I run around mostly at displacement speed (6-7 knots) and get right around 1.6 nautical miles per gallon. That is running both engines at 1200 rpm. On nice water I’ll run one engine (alternating every hour or so) at 1500 rpm at the same speed and have gotten 1.9 nmpg.
Amen Jolly Mon! Two years ago I sold most of my possessions and moved onto a 1991 Cooper 58 motor yacht. Love watching your videos and the joy we get from exploring the San Juan islands. Garrison Bay will be in our travel plans this spring.
Welcome back to youtube. You were missed for sure. I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos and RV content! In other news, I was just up a British camp about 3 weeks ago. I didn't have the sunshine when there, so it was fun to see all the views with clear vis.
Great to see you're back Steve. Yes, we were wondering where you've been but sounds like you've made some great changes. Congratulations on those and looking forward to all the new videos! Happy travels!
Hello Steve, "Jolly Mon"! Nice to meet you at BYC Squalicum Harbor. Keep up the videos. My wife and I enjoy them very much. May we see each other again on our cruising journeys!
Good on you Jolly Mon, live your dream. I am coming along right behind you as I just too possession of my sailboat last weekend, my house is being worked on to be put on the market and I too will be very soon living the life that suits me and my desires. I look forward to your next video and where it takes you
Count me in the numbers who are glad to see that you're back Steve. Love the switch to a true life, and not just occasionally living. And the RV is a huge bonus! Love it!! so 'Yes Please'! Bring on all your traveling vidoes! RV & boating!
We’ll see what the next couple of weeks bring. As much as I’d love to be out in the San Juan’s, I want to be a good neighbor and honor the request to avoid the area for the time being. Besides that I’ve got plenty of projects to do on the boat to get her ready to cruise.and I have to be around for work... believe me, I’m itching to get out! Thanks for your comment!

Are those WSU plates on the Jeep?
They most certainly are. GO COUGS!
Nice! Go Cougs! Take that new RV out to the Palouse. 😎
It’s already been once, and will return in the fall! 👍🏼
MV Jolly Mon I will be in Section 25 row 2 seats 28, 29 if you make it to a game.
Great to see another video! I’m very jealous of your new found simplistic lifestyle! Oh... and thanks for the follow on IG!
Steve, will you be doing any more videos just you taking small cruises away from people but still safe? Your "fans" miss seeing new videos.
