    Queen, all I could think about, is that you just need to roll those gorgeous containers on down to Georgia to my house, 😂.I also had to treat my roses, as we were in the 90’s with terrible humidity less than a week ago. My husband calls it Beauty and the Beast when the rose leaves get ‘funky’ with a those awful holes and black spots. I enjoy your garden enthusiasm’ you keep me inspired! Happy Memorial Day!

    Hi! I'm really loving your videos! Your up beat spirit and vibe rubs off on me and gets me motivated in my garden! 😁🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟 My roses got hit with some kind of disease or sickness where the leaves and buds looked burnt. I thought it was the heat for a long time. But I recently bought Dr. Earth Final Stop fungicide concentrate. OMG, new leaves with beautiful lush green color started to grow out where the diseased leaves ended. I now have lush green foliage and huge blooms!!! Idk what kind of sickness my roses had but Dr. Earth took care of that for me. It also smells really good, like fresh herbs. And I don't worry about burning my leaves it being organic and all. I will use this on my roses once a month now to keep them healthy. I also have a few Eden climbers I recently planted, about 4 months ago and I don't have 1 bud yet! 😭 How old is your bush?? They say you gotta be patient with Eden roses cuz they sleep for the first year but dang, seems like yours bloomed so quickly . I'm dying to see my first bloom! Thank you for all your videos!😁👍🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟🤙🌹 lol, I love your dog! She's so funny!

    • @GardenQueen
      @GardenQueen  3 роки тому

      My Eden is two years old. But you know that is one reason I try to source bigger cans because you get a more mature plant! I had blooms through out the first year I planted. So then I ended up waiting until it was in a low spot and cut off any buds so I can plant the climbing roses!!! I am glad your rose overcame the disease that they had!!! Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel!!!

    I had sawfly on my rose last year. You need to spray the leaves with a heavy stream of water to knock them all off and spray a neem oil to protect them. You can cut off any that are very damaged. Mine bounced back and this year I don’t see any at all! Sawfly can destroy your rose so make sure you take care of those pests!

    • @GardenQueen
      @GardenQueen  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Kayla! This is another great approach to take care of Sawfly and you are absolutely right!! The only thing to consider is I want to eradicate the population. So I do not spray them off and this is why!!! If you spray them down then the sawflies will go to another plant in the garden!!! If you keep them on the host plant and treat the plant as they eat they die!! So that is why I don't spray the plant down. The flow of water will only knock them off and not kill them!!! Although this method is riskier leaving them in place I have always used this one!

    The progress is amazing, all looks beautiful. Would you consider using the organic option to control rose pest to protect pollinators. The systemic Product is very harmful to the bees.

    Your garden is stunningly beautiful. I love your dedication and organization. As a new subscriber, I enjoy watching your videos.
    I'm unsure how you feel about bees but, that product you used on the roses contains insecticide, which will poison the bees too.
    Continued success with your lovely space.

      Hi Lisa! I Love bees!! The bioadvanced is not organic this is true! I have not found a organic option that will treat roses in my area! What do you suggest? I would love to hear thank you!!!

    • @mamabear9509

      A quick online query of Organic Rose Food lead me to Espoma Rose Tone and Dr Earth line of products. I'm not trying to be overly critical but it's sad to find dead bees scattered about on your property, I know from first hand experience. I feed my ordinary roses, and all other flowers, Plant Tone. For my roses I also apply dried banana peel, spent coffee grounds and cooked egg shells, as they are available from my kitchen. I wish you continued success and I will keep watching to stay inspired by your beautiful garden designs.

    Your eden roses are STUNNING, wonderful to see so much growth since your last update! I hope mine turn out half as beautiful as yours! I need to purchase the Bioadvanced product you listed, is it an affiliate link? Just want to make sure you get your well-deserved commission off of the purchase 🖤 also I was laughing so hard at the part of the video with your dog, me and my bulldog can relate.
    How often would you recommend pruning the eden rose? This is my first season with them so I have a lot to learn, your videos are so helpful (and FUN), thank you!

    • @annaeasterbrooks7530
      @annaeasterbrooks7530 3 роки тому +1

      Oh and also, if you don’t mind, how often would you recommend using the Bioadvanced on one- and two-year-old climbing roses?

    • @GardenQueen
      @GardenQueen  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Anna I do not have them set up as a affiliate link yet! More and more everyone has been asking about the products planters and so fourth! So I have started making sure I list the planters and products that I use in the video to make it easier for everyone to find. Maybe I should set up a affiliate link account what are you thoughts on affiliate marketing? I would love to hear!
      Also I use the bioadvance once a year and then I left the plant tells me if I need to do another application. If there is a problem going on then what I will do then is I will go in and then I will try to just treat the problem head on!! i.e. fungus.. black spot.. etc!! Thanks for watching!

    • @annaeasterbrooks7530
      @annaeasterbrooks7530 3 роки тому

      @@GardenQueen that’s great insight about letting the plants determine the frequency of the Bioadvanced application. I’m going to take your advice on that!
      As a digital marketer I’m a big fan of affiliate links, I hope you can get them so you can get that extra monetization! I know some people have strong feelings about them, but as long as you’re marking what’s an affiliate link and what’s not you’re well within FTC guidelines, and you’re actually sharing products that you personally use and endorse, keeping it REAL as opposed to sponsored crap you see a lot of on UA-cam. The way I see it: I only bought the product based on your recommendation and expertise, so you should profit from that if the company is! Just my two cents, though, for what it’s worth
