- So lets talk about paper and what paper to use for printing digital coloring pages, coloring books and digital stamps. Some FAQs I get a lot is how to print out coloring books? How to print out digital stamps? And what paper to use? How to to stop the ink from smearing? There are so many paper options for printing and I thought it would be useful to have a general talk about the different papers available, how to get the best out of your printer, copy shop options, and look at some different paper examples, which type is good for markers, pencils, watercolors etc. With digital coloring books you can really fit your paper to the supplies you want to use.

What about printer recommendations for coloring pages? I've been hearing that laser jet printers are best for wet mediums, like alcohol markers and watercolors, to avoid the printed lines smearing

I haven't find but I think I will buy the epson ecotank because it allows many kinds of papers. But I don't know if the paper will bleed with water :(
@HIKATHYable I have a cheap inkjet printer and I print on paper of all types. After printing I just spray the paper with a fixative spray or even hairspray. It keeps the ink from smudging.
@@SwedePotato314 Wow thanks for the tip!! I will try and find the fixative spray on the art store! And here I was tracing all designs by hand or using the laser printer.
@@beatpaper745 I just got the Epson Ecotank ET-8500 and I am struggling to find a printing option to stop smearing with my markers :( I don't think I will find a solution in the program itself, this is so frustrating!

Thank you so much for your video . I just purchased 3 PDF books that I want to make it into a book . ( like you had in the begging of the video . I have couple of questions . What is the best of the best paper I could use for prismacolor pencils & Markers. 8.5 inches by 11 inches . Does it mean I have to make 2 books one with marker paper and one with prismacolor pencils ?

I run a print shop & wouldn't let anyone bring in paper to put through the machine as it could damage if it's the wrong type.
