She's too busy buying up two million sunblock
My ace combat 7 nightmares are slowly coming true 😂
Oh how nice to see MACE yay! GTSY again hopefully you can hang out with us more often it's nice to see you here...
I saw a documentary about this once, it had Jessica biel in it and it did not go well.
as I recall, the machine sacrificed itself to save the humans in the end, so I'd say it went very well, and exactly what is was designed for.
This video is a study in subtext.
In these 3 minutes the body language and tone alone convey more insight and nuance on the subject than most of the walls of text out there.
Personally, I don't see fully autonomous drones ever being fielded. They will always be designed to rely on human decision-making. However, that decision-making will be limited to telling the AI to "destroy this specific target", leaving the AI free to decide how to accomplish that.
Australia MQ28A Ghost bat goes in to full service next year with RAAF the block ii version never seen before,
Yes AI does have limits with human control. Ghost Bat has a human over watch just to make sure it does not go rogue. AI is also just a programme and has paramiters used
They had 2 F-16C Zombie Vipers fly into Sun-n-Fun this year. Man! are the paint jobs on those birds tired...
What's cheeper training a pilot or building and maintaining a air craft?
Ever see the movie "Stealth"?
I bet it can be integrated quite easily on the F35: like downloading an app on a phone. Then the F35 can say: "I can't do that Dave".
You want SkyNet and Terminators? ‘Cause this is how you get SkyNet and Terminators.
Great deterrent - i see the Google self driving car coming - i get the hell out of the way! Imagine that same A.I in a fighter jet 🤣
one should remember the military always has access to the latest and greatest tech at least 20 years in advance compared to civilians so its probable that they have access to newer, classified hitech stuff
Hey. Is the viper my generations f-5?
Damn.. when you put it like that-
@Spartan-fz5iy right. At first your like noooo, but then.... (I'm 40) the f5 growing up was this reserve jet used to play the adversary - wildly respected for its reliability- insane handling and just an overall highly desirable aircraft by pilots
Next thing you know, they'll have purpose made unmanned aircraft. They'll probably name those after a male bee or something.
🤣
OMG Australia has MQ28A Ghost Bat it is a unmanned fully AI combat drone.. this is not new at all and show how far USA is behind as only using a old manned jet.
A lot of male bees around here are named Steve?
Seems like a funny name for a UAV though.
are there no more qf4 phantom drones?
Not really. QF-16s have been used for years.
Been gone for a while - almost 8 years
ua-cam.com/video/6s7LMuHWQrk/v-deo.html
@@Spectator1959 hopefully not as target drones :(
@@PaulNat360 That’s what a QF-16 is. Not every QF is shot down on every mission, but they are expendable.
No F-4 is flying for the U.S military in any capacity. Not even as a drone. Only way you might see an F-4 is if you go to Iran. At least you'll be able to see F-14 as well. Probably be easier to go to Turkiye or Greece though.
This is going to get scary good in the near future, good luck beating a computer at dogfighting once the model has enough data
If you see a very young-looking Arnold Schwarzenegger walking around, the end is near and time to head for the bunker in the mountains.
Deep blue was eventually able to beat Casparove in chess so AI won't have any issue when its not bothered by G forces that affect a human pilot and will make split second decisions at a better rate than a most capable fighter pilot can do.
Golly gee, what could go wrong
I'll go with targeting algorithm
The AI forget who the bad guys are and start shooting at everything.
Look at how ISR is targeting stuff in the current war there and you see exactly what goes wrong when an algorithm is tasked to generate targets for you.
When your side lose people and the other side only loses equipment, this must be extremely demoralizing.
Holley has auto-tune fuel injection systems that replace jobs as well. It's a conundrum for sure.
Mover, get your VR goggles ready. They can bring back old pilots with skills and experience. Now you’ll be able to pull 9Gs indefinitely. No more GLOC.
Robot demo team some day? 😅
I thought that drones replacing f-16's was the thing, but it's not. It's FPV trees coming over the trees dropping grenades on everything.
"By your command."
Gonky .. time to ask Mover to do a re-reaction to the Movie Stealth, AI fighter planes Amok, starring Josh Lucas Jamie Foxx and Jessica Biel. Like the first review, but that was solo .. Matthew Mconnelly was not in the movie btw .. just saying .. Jedi ..
Yeah I was gonna say that this isn't anything new, but you mention it as well.
Aircraft including fighter jets can fly without a pilot and have been for a long time. It's one of the ways you can test radar/weapons and keep fighter jocks current. The whole autonomy thing and letting a computer make decisions in combat is the new bit.
The drones had/ have human "pilots" in control and have self destruct capabilities. They are just remote controlled like the Reaper drones.
Or I'm injured can't fly home, Siri take control get me to nearest base with surgical unit...😮
The terminators are coming!!!
You mean scientists have taught a computer to push the "Takeoff", "Fly" and "Land" buttons. What will they think of next?
An expensive drone 🤔
Autonomous war planes what could possibly go wrong
Yeah it's the beginning of the end of the fighter pilots. The electronics doesn't need expensive training and the rest..... Future "pilots" will be electronics engineers.
"There will never be a time where the VENOM aircraft will solely 'fly by itself' without a human component" ... VENOM aircraft. Other more modern aircraft, probably. Unmanned intelligent aircraft that fly from taxi to taxi? certainly. When, at best 10 years.
John Connor: No, you shouldn't exist. We took out Cyberdyne over ten years ago. We stopped Judgment Day.
Terminator: You only postponed it. Judgment Day is inevitable.
Terminator 3
Hey Guys,
Isn't a Tesla autonomous? That's the car that will choose if it kills your passenger or runs down the school crossing full of kids if you don't pay attention when driving.
Or maybe it's like the Missing Man formation with autonomous aircraft where the code has a Zero instead of a One and instead of climbing UP it dives DOWN into the funeral ceremony.
Surely we are not worried about a few little things like these?
The Computer is your Friend. Computers don't make mistakes.
"I'm sorry Dave, I just can't do that." (HAL 9000 from 2001)
Cheers
Andrew
Imagine a tyrannical government with a bunch of autonomous aircraft airstriking areas of its own country where they find people rebelling against them.
I worked on this Project, now with Big G....
Only thing holding it back is approval.
In War there is only Friend and Enemy but libertarians want safety protocols that are unrealistic in war zone
AI is a long way off from getting to 100% take over of equipment.
Belkan witchcraft
I think of this as the dummy system in Evangelion. Last time I checked, AI was winning dog-fights against pilots. what if pilots fly into the fight and activate dummy system (so pilot makes the call). AI wins the dog fight (might even pull 10G+ and knock the pilot out). (better fighters, less training,)
US realized: holy heck these ukie pilots are not up to scratch. who will do our 'false flag' attacks? easy answer: AI 👍👍👸👸
Oh! This is nice? No it's not. There are way too many variables that can go wrong.
There's an f15, utilizing such technology that pilots of the time, were dying from overdoses caused by "enhancement drugs". These enhancement drugs are used on agents and soldiers so they can interface with the artificial intelligence f15. Why? Because normal pilot reaction time is to slow......
That's IT??
Bro.... Come on. Give us at least 5 min.!
that is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
The kingdom of the Lord is at hand
Jesus Christ is Lord

I,for one, welcome our new robot overlords and trust that they know who their friends are!👍🫣
