Where Were The Other Arkhamverse Heroes? | Batman Arkham Series

- Hey everyone. Have you ever wondered why Superman, Flash, Green Arrow, or any other superhero confirmed to exist in this universe never helped Batman? Well so did I, and today, I'm going to be trying to figure out why these guys left Batman out to dry.
Patreon: patreon.com/characterhistory - Розваги
I'm definitely of the opinion that Batman told the rest of the JL to stay out of Gotham. The guy won't even accept help from Robin in City and Nightwing has to come in and help Batman himself in Knight despite being told otherwise. Besides, I think after the events of Arkham Asylum, the JL pretty much decided that he can handle anything.
So the arkham series is basically the bad ending of thr DCAU?
@@alchemistofsteel8099 It was initially written by DCAU writers so take from that what you will.
@Liam Fitzgerald Yeah but DCAU batman is known for his cooperation skills
@@liamfitzgerald7217 also the dceu writers left after arkham city
@@alchemistofsteel8099 I didn't know that now.
I always assumed that
During Origins: Bruce didn’t know them
During Asylum: Bruce knew he could handle it
During city: He was just caught off guard and busy dealing with being poisoned
During Knight: He told them to stay away because he didn’t want them to find out about his joker experiments or he didn’t want them to possibly be exposed to fear toxin
Plus during asylum joker literally makes the threat that if he sees any other super heroes trying to get to the island that he'll blow up bombs (even then batman knowing he could handle it still works since he immediately called it out as an empty threat)
Except remember, Scarecrow’s plan A during the events of Arkham night was to explode the ace chemicals building with a gas that would’ve cover the entire eastern seaboard even if it is Gotham that sounds like a justice league level threat.
If even one of the heroes with super powers got affected it woould end the earth tbf so it would makes sense for batman to tell them to stay away
All of them sound reasonably logically reasons why he didn't call them. Fear toxin posioned superman would be a nightmare.
Yeah, especially telling most of the League to stay away during Knight due to the fear toxin makes so much goddamn sense. Like he could handle a fear-toxin-crazed Oliver and probably even Barry (Flash) since he's an idiot... but Wonder Woman, Superman, or Martian Manhunter? On top of everything else? He wouldn't want to have to.
I kinda think they were active heroes before Arkham Knight. Also jack rider heals completely when you see him at the church after you rescue him. In the comics the creeper has a healing factor.
Correct me if I’m wrong jack ryder dosent know he’s the creeper right?
@@r0cket104 depends on the media he is in
@r0cket you can hear that the creeper is active in arkham city. I like to imagine the creeper intended to help out but got stuck watching TV or something
Maybe he isn't jack ryder and it's Martian manhunter
@@undeadcowboy1266 why would it be?
Green Arrow does in fact exist in the Arkham verse, if you talk to Jack Ryder after you save him from Black Fire he mentions that he is gonna write about the owner of Queen industries and calls him "a real sharp shooter".
Also the biggest and most blatant, there are “Queen industries” buildings in the city.
@@Artryom he's talking about the persona Green Arrow, obviously Queen exists but we don't know if he is already Green Arrow or not
@@mattnobumbumkk8303 I would assume he is green arrow already. I Mean he would start pretty damn late, if Arkham Batman already went thorugh 3 robins lol
@@DatAsianGuymost characters in dc appear late. Hell, it takes until the end of the third robins run for a second batgirl to appear.
@@GingeryGinger but that's the batfamily.
Superman, Wonderwoman, Aquaman, Green Arrow are all heroes that showed up close to each other in time.
YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONE. I’ve been saying since Arkham Knight came out back in 2015 that they need to make a Green Arrow Arkhamverse game. You can have very similar stealth/gadget mechanics but make it more of a 3rd person shooter than a melee game
i think it could still be a melee oriented game, but don’t also have the big bow and arrow factor in it as a more gadget that isn’t limited on a cooldown but takes a second to draw the string back so you can’t spam it in close combat
Since each game canonically lasts 1 night, I would guess that for the ones could even arrive on time, they might be busy dealing with other crimes or maybe they're confident in Batman's ablilities given his history.
Or maybe they're asleep, who knows.
They were probably just busy and not allowed to interfere. The idea of batman being the first and only hero for over 10 years doesn't really seem feasible. By Arkham Knight hes been active for 12 years. In Superman TAS, Darkseid invades the Earth but literally only 1 hero shows up to help Superman despite that entire season introducing new heroes to the universe every other episode and Batman existing for years prior. Just another case of shared universe issues being overlooked.
Well for the Batman part I think he would have came to help out if it lasted a little longer and if darkside and his forces came to Gotham I just like to think he thought Superman could take them since well he’s Superman but idk if flash was introduced before or after but for him I think he was either busy or just wasn’t paying attention to the news since Wally didn’t seem like a responsible hero until the justice league came into play for the other hero’s John wasn’t a lantern at the time hawk girl wasn’t even on earth and wonder women didn’t even know what was going on at the time
In BvS Bruce had been Batman for 20 yrs before Superman showed up
@@mj3541 well that universe is garbage. But Wonderwoman was already present too before Batman.
They talk about Superman in the game
It's not true anyway since Superman's existence was implied in Arkham Origins by the GCPD
Personally, here's what I believe: The Arkhamverse incidents weren't as dangerous as some of the things that a non-street level hero would handle. And Green Arrow wouldn't, becuase it wasn't in his city.
In Arkham Asylum, there's a reference to the Injustice Gang. That group and all other similar super-villian teams (the Injustice League, the Legion of Doom, etc.) always form as responses to the Justice League. That suggests the League already existed by the time of Asylum.
Green Arrow game would be lit af. Crossbow grappling gun for short distances, compound bow + grappling arrow for long distances. Zip line arrow for dope entrances and cinematic escapes. Boxing glove arrow for the gags.
Bro! Thank you for the heart g, would you ever do a video on how to make a green arrow game?
The Knight had bombs rigged all over the city, they would go off if any outsiders try to get in, that's why there's no military assistance or other things. Second a super comes through, those bombs go off
Flash can just wipe the city and deactivate the bombs with ease
@@Crazy-Gaonk did you read his comment?
@@kmvzz5372 He still can
@@Crazy-Gaonk no he can't
@@dark_raps4184 Yes he can. He could deactivate the bombs in less than the time it'd take for you to take a shit
If your planning on making a part 2 we can also see Ray Palmer’s name on a locker (THE ATOM), posters for a boxing match with Ted Grant (WILDCAT), a Kord industries sign (BLUE BEETLE), a BOOSTER GOLD poster, and a JOHN CONSTANTINE office. These are all in Arkham Knight if you want to fact check. Also I’m sure there are more heros I don’t know about
Nice!
There's also a magic shop owned by zatanna (it's a riddler scanner Easter egg)
And simon stagg is experimenting on people so metamorpho probably exist
I imagine Strange referenced metropolis and keystone because they also have super criminals. And it feels weird to imagine the existence of Superman and Flash’s rogues gallery without them there to fight them
Strange had the plan to set up Arkham City camps in Metropolis and Keystone.
Each of these games' stories happened over single nights. My headcanon is that the other JL members were busy with their own stuff, and Batman took care of each threat before any of them would even have a chance to engage with it. The Arkham games feel long but the stories aren't that long canonically
Exactly! Plus it's a misconseption that many people have. That Avengers in Marvel, or Justice League in DC are ALWAYS together. They are not. They assemble only to discuss something important, check in on each other or deal with actual big threats when they appear.
Most of the time they are alone, fighting their own villains, solving their own issues, experiencing their own adventures, etc.
To avoid watching a long video, Batman literally is territorial in most media the heroes often offer him help but he declines stating “Gotham is my city”
There’s actually a line of dialogue that explains away why other superheroes don’t show up to back up Batman.
During the story, as you’re trying to track down, Barbara Gordon, or are the militia drop off a series of bombs around Gotham, and make a very public statement that if anyone tries to mess with them, apart from Batman since they want to beat him, they’ll blow Gotham the kingdom come.
Alfred even notice that they feel like we made this announcement public to the chair any outside interference . Now this could be to stop someone like the national guard from strolling into Gotham with a couple tanks of their own, but I also feel like the same logic could apply to other superheroes. So, if someone like the flash or superman showed up, they were just detonate all the bombs, and destroy Gotham, leaving thousands of innocent civilians, homeless, and killing whatever good people may still remain in the city.
Of course, some superheroes that are known for Stells were able to slip through the cracks, such as Nightwing, but someone with a brightly colored costume, like Superman or the Flash, would definitely draw attention.
they can still both go faster then light and finish the job in milliseconds, plus it's possible to take clothing off
@@doda508 fair, but why risk it? Batman has things covered. Entering the city would just risk everything. (Plus taking off the suits would all but reveal their identities.)
@@comicfan1324 I think this theory explains it perfectly tbh never even thought of that Nightwing being able to get in is probably because he knows gotham like sewers and tunnels
Um Superman and flash are too fast and can break time and rewind time
and obviously since writers love to nerf flash , flash with his pathetic speed would arrive, having zero element of surprise cause of newly added from shows which is the lightning and they blow up the bomb.
I think the heroes don't generally get involved with cities that are under protection of other heroes unless the issue involves the rest of the world. And when it comes to the issues in the Arkham games, they may not be big enough in scale for the other heroes to intervene considering each time the areas are evacuated with only criminals left behind and most of the enemies have no superhuman abilities
I get the feeling Bruce is not just protective of Gotham but is really desperate to not have the Justice League involved because he believes the Gotham villains are a bit too much for them and does not want them exposed .Same way he wants the Batfamily uninvolved with the events of the games , Arkham Batman just feels like a protective person .
Well, the main reason why they didn't show up is because Arkham Knight threatened to blow up Gotham if they tried to interfere.
I like the theory of Batman telling them not to come but that was one of the issues with Arkham Knight. Like in comics, a veteran batman usually assembles a team if things are too much (the detective comics). And feel they kind of dumb down Batman in Akrham Knight for him to want everything alone. An army of Mercenaries patrolling Gotham, Someone knows who he is, all the 15-20 side missions he can do alone. That's not even realistic.
Writers could have made Rescuing Catwoman part of the main story and she decides to help after leaving Orphanage. Nightwing just worrying about Penguin. He could be looking for bodies of Pyg or assisting Batman with Two-Face as well. Tim Drake worrying of the Joker victims could have been a side thing too. Don't forget the waste of Azreal.
Except Arkham Knight took place in one night, so that meant that most/all of the League were asleep and had no idea what's going on.
Not to mention Arkham Knight made a public threat that if they showed up, he'd detonate bombs they set up around the city, which is literally one of the side missions to do.
Batman wanting to do things alone isn't 'dumbing him down,' it was crucial to the story to show that Batman is afraid of letting his friends and family getting hurt.
Remember the Jason Todd flashbacks? Batman told Robin and Nightwing to stay out of it so they wouldn't get hurt, which ended up backfiring on him. Selina wouldn't help out much, because she would be out of her depth to take on the Militia.
-The Bird of prey Easter egg in the clock tower reveals that both Black Carnary and Huntress were helping with evacuation on the main land right before the game started.
-Olive Queen was either investigating the disappearance of Christian bell(One of the Jokers) as she was reported missing and did work for him. Or he upgrading the security system for Queen industries after Catwoman rob them a week prior to game events(Selina mention this during one of the riddle rooms)
-Batwoman hasn’t had contact with Bruce for months
Probably we are going to find out in the new game by random dialogue or storry
For city I think Hugo strange lex and captain cold probably planed something together. Hugo said I want to build mega prisons in keystone and metropolis. Lex would definitely have to be okey with the prison. So I imagines it went like this Hugo told lex his plan, lex wants these prisons so helped fund them but superman and the flash would quickly end this so lex paid cold to distract the flash while lex distracted superman. Think the fact there smart normal non powered people is enough to bond.
Black Canary and Huntress are helping people outside of the main islands. It was on the computer if I’m not mistaken.
I still want that rejted superman game WB really need to reconsider that one tbh EDIT you’re not alone green arrow with free flow combat would be the win WB and rock steady needs right now
Well in the comics, Batman explicitly states that the Justice League stay out of Gotham City. It probably applies to the games as well.
Comics are not canon due to the errors they made.
The real reason why they were not in the game was because Arkham Knight set up bombs around the city and threatened to detonate them if any outside interference were to come in (The Justice League and Military).
I believe Batman also has a fear of escalation. Bring in Superman, and Joker et al entices Bizarro in, or a like menace. Maybe Bats had Superman guarantee the safety of the evacuees and a promise of containment should Crane's toxin get out.
There are two more heroes who could be broadly implied to exist - sketchy and iffy, but there is a thread. One is Alan Scott - the mystical and original Green Lantern, who operated out of Gotham, and who first drove away The Reaper, who I think got a mention in Origins. One of his major foes was Grundy. Another one by way extension is the JSA's Hourman, a chemist named Rex Tyler. Now, whether any of this counts for the Arkhamverse is again, iffy, but he took a self-concocted drug called Miraclo, giving him an 'Hour Of Power'. Modern comics called out the obvious drawbacks of this idea, and both he and his son struggled with this addiction as heroes. But there's more: Dr. Randolph Blake was the original creator of Venom, in a storyline set early in Batman's career. It was retconned that his research stemmed from Tyler's Miraclo, and of course, Titan is a refinement of Venom. So while Venom could have originated any number of ways in the Arkhamverse, it could have this past hero standing sadly behind it.
This is actually the major problem with all comic based material that include several superheros on the same earth. Of course the plot requires the success or failure of the main character to be of importance to the audience and that can't really be acheived when we know other heroes will take care of the situation anyway. An obvious solution would be adding a villain that prevents most heroes from happening, either kills them or disables them before they're born or just teleports them to another earth. 😈
Superman's existence was implied in Arkham Origins. You'll have to find the GCPD conversations talking about one of them, rather stay in Gotham, because that city always has explosions happening and Gotham is 100% human populated unlike Metropolis.
Superman’s usually the first of the league to become a superhero, makes sense…
You are underrated asf. Anyway a cool video idea would be what villains not appearing in city were doing while Batman tried to find the cure.
Their also is mention of Kandaq and Markova plus mentions of lex luthor helping pay for the militia
Markovia? Heck ye, a Geo-force game??
I very much agree with the line of thought that Batman strongly discouraged the Justice League from intervening in Gotham at any time. He only reluctantly accepts help from Nightwing and Robin - and he trusts them implicitly.
By this point in the continuity, the Justice League would have gotten tired of Batman's suspicious and sulky nature. Plus the militia did place mines around the city. While most of the threats Batman faces could be taken down in seconds by most other JL members, a Bat-tantrum would just be too high a price to pay.
I like to think even if Supes, flash, ect are already established heroes in contact with Batman, the Arkham Knight, knows how much of a game changer they would be and instead orchestrated an event in their respective cities to distract them. He only needs one night, afterall. Maybe told Lex, who is mentioned a lot as a rival to Wayne Industries, that if he ties up superman, he'll tie up batman.
No, Jason set up bombs to keep them away from Gotham. I doubt he would convince Lex Luthor to do something.
"you know what would make this night more crazy? is if that freak from metropolis flew in"
Idk if anybody has said this yet
When you disarm the first bomb in knight,
the Arkham knight says he has the city wired to blow
And Alfred says that was a public broadcast
so that’s another reason why they couldn’t get involved
That or maybe Superman flying and sucker punching Arkham Knight would've been slightly overkill and funny as hell 😂😂😂
You doing my girl Zatanna dirty!
How did you miss her?
Her stage show poster was displayed in front of the Theater during Arkham Knight.

I would say Bruce is the first during origins, by asylum, Diana, Clark and core members are active but the league isn't formed. During the three month gap between asylum and city the league is formed
that was only 3 months??
@@ItsOver9000Productions Asylum late October City early January that's why it's still snowing lightly.
There is an 18 month gap between Asylum and City.
@@cameronbaker97 i don't know if this is officially stated or a theory, but I'm assuming it is a widely accepted theory. Jokers blood was poisoned and he was dying, he simply could not have lived another 18 months.
@@SG-qx9ko in City, Joker states that it's been 18 months since Batman "left him to die", referring to the Titan Joker boss fight.
Going along with the idea the league would still be pretty new , and considering it's been ~2 years since Scarecrow's done anything, it's entirely possible Bruce told the JL to stay away because he didn't know how/if the fear toxin would affect them and having people like Superman and Wonder Woman under it's effects would make the situation a helluva lot more complex
It's just like the comic books. All hell breaks loose numerous times in Gotham, Batman and his kids are the last line of defense. How boring would it be if Superman showed up? Superman: oh, this guy is has an army? He's Jason Todd? I'll just knock him out and put you and Todd in the same room so y'all can hash this out. Alright Bruce, I'll see you in a Flash... don't tell Barry I said that.
Great video, keep it up!
its a batman game.
Actual answer
The realest mfer here
Pretty much the same theory I had that the league hadn’t formed until around the events of knight or a little bit after. Maybe the league recruited Batman and that’s why he decides to come back and put the suit back on instead of using the fear toxin anymore. The fact that his identity is still out kinda makes it seem like an Iron Man type deal where everyone knows who he is and be uses his money and assets to help him fight crime.
amazing theory
Just like injustice
Nice theory. I like to think this more the end of the batman after all the justice league adventures and batman adventures. Afterall, we have batgirl in wheelchair, nightwing, tim drake, and jason todd by the end of the series. And they are pretty much grown. Now batman Arkham origins, I can see justice league isn't even a thing.
I hope they don’t make it so the heroes don’t show up until the Arkham knight time period (I hope Batman isn’t the first hero whose way longer into his career, I hope they are all about equally into their career). I always preferred it when all the heroes start out around the same time and team up early in their careers. (Kinda like how GL thought Batman was a myth when he first met him)
My understanding has always been that the Arkham Knight's bombs throughout the city are meant to deter reinforcements of ANY kind. RPing as Batman, I always hit the bombs first so that someone can still get in and save Gotham if I die.
It was a good thing they never showed up. Batman is severely diminished when you put him next to OP characters like Superman, Flash, WW.
They were all having a party at the fortress of solitude.
My take (Counting only main games, so spin-off, movies, comics, trailers and books excluded)
1) Arkham Origins: so I think this is one of those universe were bruce Wayne was born one year before kal-el. (if someone doesn't know I will explaine. Basically DC seems to follow some sort of a correllation between superman and batman birth year, and they are always one year apart from eachother, since the arkhamverse is centered about Batman I think Bruce was born a year before kal, this mean that Bruce became Batman a year before Clark become Superman, the other superheroes appear after the second one) Basically Batman was the most experienced superhero at the time.
2) Arkham Asylum: the most simple one, this is basically an isolated incident, if you think about it nothing outside of the ordinary happens during the incident. (Following Gotham standards)
3) Arkham City: Same as 2, only different is that a lot of absurd things happen this time around, the other supes didn't interfere only becouse Arkham City was in Gotham.
4) Arkham Knight: Actually this is answered in the game, what you have to do is defuse the first bomb you found in the game and then listen to what the Arkham Knight says.
5) Kills the Justice League: Well they were there but.. all goes to shit.
Askham city has a exsplaination Hugo strange said I'm building prisons in keystone and metropolis. Lex would have to sing off on these prisons so Hugo and lex are working together. While Hugo is fighting batman lex is fighting superman.
Better question, were was Braden from the GCPD SWATs.
Him and his boys would've loved going after the Militia, that was literally what SWATs train for.
Branden was most likely in jail, considering he was a dirty cop, and I'm pretty sure the GCPD swat members were either helping to evacuate Gotham or at the GCPD.
I think also the fact that fear toxin is let loose in the city you don’t want superman to get effected
Awesome video and yes he did mention Wonder woman and Green lantern in Arkham Knight
I honestly think that batman probably has them told to not come to gotham, he is super stubborn on not wanting help most the time (i guess i got it from arkham as a kid)
And honestly he always is kinda stubbon at times unless he KNOWS hes out of his leauge
Personally, I believe a The Flash game should be Rocksteady's next title. Both Batman and Flash are detectives with a huge Rogues gallery, plus an arch nemesis, both have childhood trauma and are both geniuses, so it makes sense
yeah i just wish we would get a flash game already
It’s kind of like that in comics in general. Where were the Avengers and X-men during Maximum Carnage? I always chalk it up to different writers and artists doing their own thing.
Pulling a bit out of DCAU lore, when Superman debuted in his own show, his warned him not to be scary like that freaky vigilante in Gotham. And to further cement this idea, he was very hesitant to trust Batman in the three-part World's Finest episode.
So if it's like you said and all these heroes were barely making their debut in their respective cities, they probably didn't trust Batman. And likewise, Batman didn't trust them. Superheroes are a very introverted type in the DC world, I suppose.
The atom I referenced on a locker in ace chemicals I believe, and I think zatana was also referenced
Well, that's a good question. But i think that the answer will be even more obvious. Rocksteady just didn't thought of adding JL members in their games, even as a cameo, just because those games are focusing only on Batman. But, it would be great to see Justice League game, in style of Batman Arkham games, where you can play as any member of JL in single player or in co-op in huge open world with all familiar locations. That would be sick. But, seeing how modern video games lacks quality, like Gotham Knights, Marvel's Avengers or upcoming Suicide Squad game, that was delayed for the next year, i doubt that i want that kind of Justice League game.
Superman and the Flash would've ended Arkham Knight in seconds flat. Flash would've taken out all the villains in just one lap, while Superman would use his X-ray vision to learn that Jason was the Arkham Knight, unless his armor contains lead.
I don't think bats likes it when other heroes step in his city
Superman: Bruce, I'm here to help.
Batman: Go get your own super villains.
I think reason from my own knowledge the Arkham Knight warned the outside world not to attack as he placed extremely powerful bombs all across downtown Gotham and broadcasted that if anyone comes in, he will detonate them. and theres a rare militia radio broadcast where the knight asks about the status of a payload, in which they respond its primed and ready, in which he says prepare for the order to drop should they try to send the Army in. so my guess is the league knew the risk was way too high to go in and help Batman without causing the Arkham Knight from blowing up the city
I believe most are personally there, that they are dealing with things off screen, tied up dealing with some cosmic slobberknocker, depowered, or simply told ta pish off by The Bat-Man. The Birds are helping the GCPD with John who is dealing with the severely traumatized and wounded coordinated by Oracle. Robin and Nightwing are doing what they want probably maintaining peace around the perimeter to halt escalation and/or others in the rogues gallery from taking advantage of setting up in the chaos. Batman probably... well I'll say he does know this and he knows they are giving him a wide berth to work in until things go tits up.
Thanks for being Straightforward. Wishing You The Best 🫶🏽🙌🏾 Peace Out Brah ✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Awesome Video Bro! The other heroes need to have their own games. Especially my favorite super hero Green Arrow.
Maybe scarecrow hired all villains from different city like keystone metropolis etc to do chaos to in their city so other heroes are busy to help Batman
Zatanna: busy touring
We all know why, Rocksteady games didn't include the JL heroes for not to include character design models, mechanics and more VA's, so not to overshadow batman is his own games and to make him seem less competent.
I could’ve sworn I remembered seeing Green Arrow and speedy in Batman Arkham City but I searched it up and nothing came up
Speedy? Do you mean Red Arrow or The Flash?
There's easter eggs but they are not actually in the game
@@GodOfSpeed2099 speedy is green arrow's partner
Batwoman also exists in the arkhamverse. And it’s implied through the tie-in comics that talia birthed damian after that “night in metropolis”
I too have said for years that it would be a pretty cool idea for there to be a Green Arrow spin off game set in the Arkham universe. The gameplay would be extremely similar but with more changes to stealth that dont require swinging from gargoyles
3:30 Dropping so many hints about this guy and having him never appear once was just cruel.
Ok so John Constantine and the atom are referenced, Constantine having a shop, the atom in a lab,Victor stone's football match before becoming cyborg
Wouldn't anybody besides Batman be overpowered? ( Excluding Green Arrow)
There was bombs all over Gotham that would detonate if any outside help came in. You could deactivate these bombs with the batmobile.
I thought the Arkham games should have had some missions where to could play as Green Arrow, Speedy and Black Canary. They're (mostly) unpowered street-level heroes and the implementation of archery mechanics could have been cool.
i read a on a newssite to batman arkham knight (before the game got released) that there will be a scene, where superman came to gotham and wanted to help, but batman said "he got this under control" and he should go home and Superman flys away hahaha
Knowing him, he told them off with the “ I don’t need help”. You can’t go against what the Batman says
Why didn’t Batman just ask for the justice leagues help? Is he stupid?
Batman knows he can solo
Because it's the f kin Arkham batman! Other batmen may need his assistance at some point he's the goat
What’s interesting about this video is that some of the easter eggs in the Arkham games he has shown I never even noticed. Like the Birds of Prey easter egg, I wonder if there’s more.
I love how you just skipped over Zatanna.
Strange and Ras had plans for Protocol 10 to be implemented in Metropolis and Keystone City
I don’t think Tyger could handle Superman and The Flash
Canonically the Birds of Prey along with Martian Manhunter are actually in Gotham at the time of Arkham Knight. Martian Manhunter is a cop in the GCPD and The Birds of Prey i.e. Black Canary and Huntress (maybe Vixen as well but I can’t be sure) are helping evacuate the city as seen from messages between them and Oracle. As the player character you never see them but they are there. There’s also a chance Constantine is there considering his agency is located in Gotham. But yeah, canonically there are other Justice Leaguer’s in Gotham during the events of the game.
Sucks that this is our first introduction to the league, and now we have to kill them off
Theres absolutely no way we actually kill all of them, if any. In the trailers it showed the Squad carrying around Flash after defeating him. Also, it seems Wonder Woman will be helping them, either she never got turned or they break her out of it.
@@dakotatrue12 captain boomerang should kill the flash this is his one chance to do it and look like a hero
I like to think that Oliver is at the point of City/Knight he's either just back from the island or still stuck there
So fun fact the creeper has a biography thing in Batman Arkham asylum which mentions him being jack ryder
What do you mean by why didn't they help.
1. Batman doesn't need help beating his rogues.
2. They were in their various cities facing their own threat just like Batman.
Other more glaring ones include Rory Regan/Ragman (aka Budget Spectre), who lives in Gotham, the demonologist Jason Blood (who is host of The Demon Etrigan) who also dwells there, and also Jim Corrigan AKA THE SPECTRE, THE SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE.
Though granted, Blood doesn't do much unless disturbed, and the Spectre runs on logic nigh-incomprehensible to people.
this night be a cop out but all these games take place over one night during night. It's very possible they were just asleep 😂
Good idea
Wait, the other DC heroes exist in the Arkhamverse, I always thought Batman and the rest of his characters in Gotham were the only heroes and villains in the Arkhamverse, and I'd personally prefer if that was the case because it makes more sense in my opinion and sometimes I like it better when a superhero gets own gets they're own universe of where they are the only superheroes in they're universe.
Every time this comes up, whether it’s a movie or game or whatever, I just assume that everyone’s busy all the time.
Think of all the side quests and villains Batman deals with in every game. All those games are supposed to take place over one night. Everyone is SWAMPED
Maybe Batman won’t allow the other heroes to join in the fun. If this was Homelander, he would just not listen and take Batman’s word, and just go kill Batman’s rogue.
Batman would be pissed if other heroes if entered Gotham help him. But it be kool see a flash and green arrow games tho
superman, green lantern (hal), flash, wonder woman, green arrow, john henry STEEL, zantana, & booster gold had references in arkham origins
They are all referenced in the others I believe
I’m gonna bet that the other dc heroes not mentioned in Kill the Justice League either straight up don’t exist in the Arkhamverse ( like Dr. Fate or Etrigan) or they were just killed off-screen because rock-steady was lazy (I do like to imagine that Aquaman is still alive and holding the line in Atlantis because the idea of *Aquaman* being the last superhero on earth is both epic and hilarious to me)
I think he told them to stay away because of his contracting the Joker virus and either A: not wanting them to know or (more likely) B: Not being willing to risk them being exposed too.
They all knew batman could handle it
The reason no one showed up was because that there were bombs placed around Gotham city by the Arkham Knight, at the end of the first bomb being defused, Alfred mentions the Arkham Knight didn't want outside intervention, like superheroes or other vigilantes that exist. It can be accepted some of them probably just started coming around, but I don't think that's entirely true either.
I want a Green Arrow spinoff game bro im with ya 👌👍👍
Why would Huntress go to Blüdhaven?
Tbh, I think instead of DC trying to replicate a movie or TV series universe, they should try to hire Rocksteady full time to milk off the Arkham universe! Single player story games of Nightwing in Blüdhaven, Green Arrow in Star city, Teen Titans maybe? The ideas and the fact these games are so loved, we just need great writers, I’d even settle for one game each until like a big game, where it all ends up in a crisis or something?
The Nightwing game could be set a year after Knight or maybe a few, that one Night in Metropolis could be how we got Damian and he’s instead dumped on Grayson by someone, Nyssa maybe? However, get this, he’s dealing with the Blockbuster gang or maybe Zohna so we get like a Batman and Robin game we never got.
Green Arrow game, I’m not too sure, I love his character tho. Maybe he’s gotta deal with Count Vertigo shenanigans while he and Roy have to help Geo-force out and recover. They gotta get to something Verti needs that’s currently in Star city to finish his plans? I know Bats is the Detective of the Superheroes but we need more hype for GA’s intelligence and craftiness. Arkham games set a ton up for Batman and same can be done for GA and his stories.
Bro, a Tempest game where Aquaman’s in trouble with Atlantis and he has to save it all and assist Aquaman?
Ocean master with the way Rocksteady set up the AGs would be great.
DC and Warner bros really need to cash in just a little bit more after this Suitrash game.
