My favourite storytelling experience finally gets a video all to its own. The title "Every Easter Egg" might be a bit misleading seeming as I left several out that I thought weren't interesting or just too obvious. I was planning on doing a live stream in which I walkthrough the game and talk about all the little details I know about the game after years of playing, let me know if that's something people might like. Late response, but easter eggs like that are used as protection. It has prevented theft of concepts and even finished assets.
Yeah! It’s because when they made crash bandicoot, universal completely took all of the credit for themselves. Naughty dog was pissed about it so they re-released Crash Bandicoot completely covered in their trademark. Universal wasn’t too happy about it lol. That’s why Naughty Dog makes sure to let everybody know they made it haha!! Interesting fact for u guys :)

1:40 For those who didn’t know, the “mushroom virus” that’s being talked about in this video is actually a real thing, it just doesn’t effect humans. It’s called ophiocordyceps. Since mushrooms reproduce through spores, cordyceps is a genus of ascomycete that’s able to take control of thousands of different insects, and disorient them. In the process, it basically kills the host, and spores start growing out of the head (just like clickers) and creates spores. Any ants or other insects that come in the area where the spores are, will immediately die. In the last of us, it’s just the same only the cordyceps can affect humans. If you want to learn anymore, or find this interesting there’s a whole bbc episode dedicated to the fungus. ❤️

I literally just now was replaying Left Behind and I found a cute hidden conversation between Ellie & Riley. I found a vacation billboard and Ellie asked "are you still saving for that vacation?" Then Ellie & Riley both said they want to go surfing in LA. Lol

I've played The Last of Us many times, but this impresses me more and more.
Currently replaying this game after 4 years and I must say this game is still a masterpiece... And I'm blown away with all the Easter eggs I missed...the creators of The Last of Us are just pure geniuses

There were so many of them that I didn't know about! I'm surprised by some of them that the player could just walk past.
There was one of them that you didn't catch. That was the recreation of Clementine's house from The TellTales Walking Dead. If you walk to the school in Bill's town, you will pass this house. Though it is not an exact recreation, the features of the house are extremely similar to Clementine's house; there is a pool, a tree house, and even the interior of the house is the same. Check it out!
The whole thing with Ish and the sewers was depressing
Did Ish die? Cause if not, would be fun if we find him in TLOU2, new buddy or something
We don't know if he died. The last thing we know about him is that he was protecting his group in the suburbs.
After you escape the sewers, you get to explore an estate of houses, in one house there's a note/letter where Ish talks about how he escaped with a woman and a few kids. So yeah, we never really will know for sure after that but it would be awesome.
