Good Morning Disco VR, I Appreciate this Video. Excited to Try out more Mixed Reality games. I noticed, yesterday while I was playing some Texas Hold Em' poker in Vegas Infinite they added a button on the bottom of your watch in game. When you press it. It transformed your game into mixed reality it brought the Table and players in to your play space. It was super cool, felt like we were playing poker in my living room. I ❤this Quest 3 headset. It is Awesome! Just like your videos. Thank you, Have a Wonderful Day! 😉👌
the best game for meta quest is Thief Simulator with the addition of Richie R street. The greatest immersion, constant additions and new missions. I RECOMMEND
I am really affraid that someday I will destroy my living room TV with these kind of games.. when monsters decide to stai in front of it 🥶 #ILoveQuest3
I'm very tempted to buy a Quest3 for PianoVision, but the reports of poor battery life on the Quest3 have me a little concerned (not to mention the mura, bad mic, and dead pixels that many have reported). With only 90 minutes battery life using passthrough, after a year of use that will likely be down to 45 minutes! PianoVision also uses the USB port on the headset for Midi connection so I presume that there is no way to use an external battery while using this App/game in particular... or am I mistaken about this? Also, does this midi connection affect battery life as well, and if so, by how much?
assuming you want to learn piano, its is an absolutely game changer. I played guitar for a bit and the best part is guitar TAB music. I can hand someone a guitar who has never attempted to play an instrument and they will understand what notes to play through the TAB sheet instantly. of course it will be slow but they'll understand. other instruments have the block of needing to learn sheet music first. this app gets rid of that for piano and allows people to learn piano before sheet music and thats amazing
@@michaellong2439 Yes! I'm more interested in _"understanding"_ the piano & music theory than learning how to read sheet music & translate in my head to the keyboard.
@@BoltRM exactly, of course learning sheet music will come with time but if someone wants to learn piano...they want to play piano lol. a traditional method of learning takes a looong while before you can actually start having some fun. with this you can start playing right away
So true. I've played piano for 15+ years and so had to get this to try. It's one of the few times I've done something in VR/MR and actually been taken back by how well it works. The camera quality is definitely a bit worse than it looks in promo vids, but it's still more than good enough to play along with when the notes are falling towards you. I can't wait to see how this looks in years to come when the passthrough looks as good as our actual vision.
There’s no way I’d play mixed reality on this. The pass through is absolute dog. Sooo bad. Turn this video to 480p maybe even 360p And I promise you that’s how bad it looks in real life. Even when I take a screenshot or video it looks 10000x better like in reviews. That’s dirty as hell. Meta is clearly doing something shady. Trust me you’ll be so disappointed. You wouldn’t wanna play games that’s a for sure. As for using it to quickly say talk to someone or if someone wants to show you something, sure. That’s it. Can you read phone messages? Only just. With a tun of holding it up down close far adjustment. Man I’m disappointed. And you will be too.
Mixed Reality games that are just the same old game with a new update that shows you some of your surroundings while you play should NOT be included on these lists. If the "mixed reality" adds absolutely nothing to the game except being a passthrough so you can see your surroundings, it's a cheap cop-out made just to capitalize on the "mixed reality" bandwagon that's not worth anyone's time. For example, the Piano one is a good legitimate use of mixed reality. Synth Riders adding "mixed reality" that let's you see your surroundings while still being the exact same game, playing the exact same way, is NOT.
the piano is a huge pile of garbage, i knew it would be but i got it now i regret it, probably ok with real piano, and as you said the depth sensor, well its not good at all.
It looks like AR is where VR was with the Oculus Go. Still in its infancy, and a ways to go. Espire and Demeo look cool. I wish somebody would put a moveable screen for streaming content, like a virtual TV screen, that could replace a physical one. Nobody wants to do it. Too bad I'm not a developer.
i feel sorry for all the free play piano areas because alot of people will be showing off their vr piano 🎹 skills yes i will be one ☝🏾 of them type of person 🙌 🎹🙌 #ILoveQuest3
Just tried pianovision with a real piano (I can't play!!). The overlay was near-perfect and I can see it being useful. It could do with more absolute beginner content, unless I couldn't find it. I did find my neck hurt from looking down so much so I think I'll try with a MIDI keyboard set to a higher height. That also means it should stop when it waits for my key presses I think.
Wow thank you! Was really looking forward to that kind of video and I am amazed how many applications have been mentioned here I never heard of before on any other channel yet.
Very very well done Video 😮 with Games wich where Never told in other Videos about Mixed Reality Games. Rollercoaster Mania is also a Mixed Reality Game . Looks fun
I like the piano one I think that is a good idea with endless gameplay opportunities

buy a battery strap with the magnetic batteries you can swap In and out. Unlimited battery
A battery strap needs to be plugged into the same USB port on the headset that you need for the MIDI keyboard, doesn't it?@@caterose
👇if ur to broke to buy a quest 3

That pianovision app is definitely going to be one of the "killer apps" for the Quest3 #ilovequest3 🎹

I want a VR mixed reality girlfriend AI for -- reasons
You are the best Disco-VR! 🥰
Will BMBF work on Quest 3?
Is it the same process to install as the Q2?
meta desperately needs to add environmental occlusion for the ar stuff
Crazy that the piano app is $10 definitely copping if i get a q3
Yeah looks like a "killer app" for the Q3! I bet price of the app goes up soon..
Even on q2 is good
I got it on quest 3 and liked it so much I bought a midi keyboard to use with it.
@@buhshmuh what keyboard did you buy?
didnt even know there's so much out to play already
I’d love to see a recreation of Star Trek ‘s Holodeck, finally it’s possible.

Aside from piano these are all complete trash. Why no practical mixed reality use cases like in the apple vision pro demo videos.
Be getting the piano app as soon as i get my Q3 looks amazing
I get the piano tuition and D&D...but the rest just seems like gimmicky 5 minute treats. Ill stick with the quest 2 for now.
Track Craft looks awesome! Like Hot Wheels in my living room! :)
These game look AMAZING, Good Video! Gl to everyone! #ILoveQuest3

I'd love to see a room/house AR mini golf simulator. Thats going to be super cool trying to land a birdy on Grandma's sofa...
... I kinda love that idea, would play the heck out of that! Hear that @MightyCoconut ?

man the future learning possibilities are infinite with this..schools should have headsets like this by yesterday
good point, very applicable in certain areas.
❤good 👏👏👏👏
As usual, great content. You always manage to include recommendations I never heard before.
More to come! There will be at least 2 more parts to this video🎁
I couldn't find the Laser one
This video makes MR look like a feature, not a gimmick.
Tried piano vision on quest 2 and it didn't really work properly, but with the quest 3 it looks a lot better! #ILoveQuest3
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed, I couldn't get it to work at all on Q2.
So these all run on the Q3 itself? Don’t require a PC? Thanks. Laurie. NZ. 😊
Yes! No pc needed, all stand alone vr apps. I included the links to all of them in the description of this video ⬆️

Dang, I was unaware of this Cactus Cowboy title, nice one!
I thought the tutorial sounded like you lol. That explains alot.
Has anyone tried mixed reality in Meteoric VR? 😞
Coming in the next video!
Now i need pokemon
I got piano vision and loving it and now I’m shopping for a digital keyboard 😹 any recommendations?!? 😸
Yamaha MODX. One of the best, and not super expensive comparatively.
