And after all of this, you say that Ukraine is losing? Do you even have a brain?

Tanks are not obsolete the Ruzzian war tactics are .... in a modern battlefiled you have Combined Arms Warfare which is too difficult for Ruzzia to achieve. They have no capable officers, bad logistics, no air superiority etc. Ruzzia lost the navy battle to a country with no navy!!! thats how bad the Ruzzian war machine is tuned.

2nd explosion was the 1st vehicle in the formation going over a mine
3rd explosion was the ammo rack explosion of the first IFV that got hit. It doesn't even correlate with the tank shooting its main gun, which you can see in the same frame

It is. This is just a part of the arms race that has been with us since the caves. Armor is far from useless, the tactics used before drones and smart munition combos are. Tactics and tech will adjust. There is a good reason why so many systems are designed to destroy armor. That fact alone should validate the serious threat role it still poses.
Correct , Armor is not useless , just Russians have not improved in drone counter measures and anti-missile defenses. This same scenario with US and it's modernized army would not happen.
yes but a armored personal carrier can do that job too while remaining cheaper then a main battle tank and having seats on the inside for infantry.
MBTs are certainly still very usefull if covered properly, but the only 2 upsides to a APC (its armor and anti-armor capabilities) are not effective anymore since there are so many more anti-tank capable systems nowdays that are handheld and capable of penetrating even MBTs armor.
either tanks become harder to destroy with coming developments be it protection systems or better armor, or tanks will further be pushed into a niche role where you want a APC with a greater ammo capacity for anti-armor rounds (since most APCs dont come with many anti-tank missiles equipped if at all) or in a scenario where the enemy uses older types of handheld anti-armor weaponry that would penetrate a APC but not a MBT.
The lack of tank on tank battles are a sign of this very issue. Why risk your tank when engaging a enemy tank if you could also use any other kind of anti-tank weaponry that is not as susceptible to a tank then your tank would be?

You are still missing the point, take for example the ongoing battle of IDF forces in gaza.
Urban combat , worst scenario for tanks , multiple attacks on MBTs by portable tandem RPGs but you barely see a tank destroyed, only light damage. why ? Merkava tanks are equipped with trophy missile intercetion counter measures and drone ECC. ( tanks that got hit had trophy system not activated ).
Also in ukraine most loses are due to mines , abandoned tanks later hit by drones.
The lack of , EEC for drones , the lack of ative protection in tanks and the lack of anti-mining equipment is the problem not the MBT role. The problem is lack of modernization.
The only way an APC can destroy a tank at range is using an AT missile, if the tank has active protection there goes your advantage.
Now let's see how the APC defends from a kinetic round....
Also moderns tactics advocate for "combined arms" action. and what the russians are doing here is not that, is more equivalent of WW1 tactis of "waves" but with vehicles
Yes tanks are still useful but they will start to look very different. Lighter and faster and used more as self propelled howitzers which network with infantry fighting vehicles, standard infantry and internal drones they can release. The infantry fighting vehicle will be the main attackers as well in the lead while tanks cover with main gun fire at strong points and scan the battlefield with its thermal sight, drones etc.. think of them like F35s but on the ground. Small unmanned ground vehicles are also already around with tank versions in development

Tanks and armored vehicles will always have use. Warfare evolves to counter warfare. Tanks have been countered in some aspects and thus will need to evolve to counter the new threats. Nothing new, this is simple evolution.

@@spoopyac3 The us definitely does not have ai tanks… yet. A large cannon on an armored mobile frame is never necessarily outdated, provided you use it in the right way. Ask any of the Ukrainians if they can tell the difference between a high explosive shell hitting their position from a T-55, T-62 or T-90M.

Armored fighting vehicles are really becoming obsolete, due to missiles and drones.
I wouldn’t say that they are obsolete but they are indeed a death trap without some form of anti air system, those armored vehicles are still a form of moral support for the troops, they are also extremely useful to protect the troops from small arms fire and shrapnel, they have many more uses but yeah with our modern weapons and Russia’s inability to adapt we can clearly see where they are lacking, it makes me think of how much machines guns changed the face of WW1 new weapons old tactics equals massive losses

The question is not “How can we add more armor to defend against drone attacks”, The question is “How can we defend against drone attacks before the drone even reaches its target”.
I doubt tanks will become obsolete, However the implementation of drones in combat has surely put that into question. The drones cheap build, ease of use and devistating damage potential has made them become unavoidable in the conflict, and for that reason, higher armor vehicles will become too expensive, and too clunky.
However, if we can get rid of the drones before they reach the armored vehicle, there will not be and need for more armor to be added to the vehicles.
The cheap build of the drones can easily be melted through with use of high power lasers (such as the “IFPC-HEL”). If you can get something to automatically identify a drone, and then shoot the high power laser at it, then now the drones are obsolete. I know that’s way easier said than done, but sweden is already working on such a thing for their CV90 vehicles.
Yes. Its a matter of time before someone find a way to counter an FPV drone. Just like bayraktar in the early invasion, the Russia know how to counter Bayraktar, now Bayraktar become obsolete.

Concentrating a whole lot of assets into half a square kilometer is a fat target, and it looks like the best solution to a tank is no longer another tank, as it was in the twentieth century. Seems dronepower rules now. This will affect air to air combat as well, and soon there will be drones fighting other drones.

I think the question is not whether tank and armored vehicle obsolete or not, but is the mobile large caliber direct fire gun still needed? If the answer is yes then tank is still needed if no then tank is not needed. Because armored vehicle itself is obviously needed, at least for transporting the personel. Even the FPV pilot need to get to the battlefield by some sort of armored vehicle, it doesnt make sense to change it with something else (such as truck or marching on foot lol).

Not really good and clear considering the Ukrainian tank took out only 1 out of the 2 BMPs from the collumn. The actual tank drove over a mine, and you can see that from another video on that encounter. This channel is not checking facts at all, they're clickbaiting to get views.
