The third house was way too long. I felt she was just showing off way too much with all the traveling and stuff she bought and not very holiday themed.
One of my favorite channels to watch other than Home worthy has been Lone Fox here on you UA-cam. Drew Scott is an amazing home designer. Hes been working on his 1928 Spanish home and just had a beautiful Christmas episode

Thanks for putting this together, I always enjoy seeing the designer's homes decked out for Christmas. However, Shelby Vanhoy is amazing! Even though she is renting, she managed to create a stunning sanctuary, from the stick on moldings to the furniture piece for family shoes and reusing her son's mobile crib dogs as small tree ornaments in his room. Lots of wonderful ideas and her home now has character and feels well lived in. 😊❤

The first apartment was very nice. The hostess had a very approachable demeanour. Felt like the spaces were doable for a lot of people.

I suppose it's the Southerner in me, in the south a home is decorated over time to remain and be added to to create a forever home. The Apartment is beautiful but I find it sad that a home can be so easily broken down, moved and replaced. I know its just a difference in the south and north. No offence meant. I do love a lot of her decor.

This year was the first time I've had our Christmas tree and outdoor decorations on Thanksgiving day when family came to visit. However, in the dining room I left small pumpkins and a turkey decoration up for our family dinner. It felt strange having both up but my little nephews loved having the Christmas trees and decorations outside. 🌲☃️🛷
I actually like having some time between Thanksgiving and the Christmas season. That's the way I grew up, and it's a lot less work and stress.The melding of the two is a recent invention by the marketers of stuff, to extend the buying season.

Not decor related but i think its incredibly SELFISH to keep a dog of that breed and that large in a tiny apartment at the mercy of whenever the owners feel like they want to walk. Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees dogs and mixes thereof are WORKING dogs, they need a yard, a farm, a fenced garden to guard and enjoy freedom off leash. That owner is selfish and ridiculous.
If the dog is walked and mentally stimulated, he should be just fine in an apartment. Just because a dog breed is a working dog, doesn’t mean it can’t live it’s best life in an apartment. Europeans live in mostly apartments and have big working dogs…for years and they have been just fine.
I would think living in a nice apartment with a family who adores him would be much better than a life spent outside in the elements their entire life. People who have these type working dogs do not take them indoors typically.
