    Those adverts on signboard stands for invitation to treat or an offer?

    • @ZeriteNetwork
      @ZeriteNetwork  5 місяців тому

      It depends on what the advert says and the motive behind it... coz at times the message can end up forming a unilateral contract....but generally such are invitation to treat

    Sir, is advertisment and offer or an invitation to threat?

      most adverts that just want you to go and buy something are invitation to treat...but in case of unilateral contract e.g where you say if anyone finds my dog i will pay...that kind of advert is actually an offer... or buy one get one free..is actually a conditional offer as long as you meet the condition...so pay attention to the wording.

    Hello, if someone says they are interested in buying my products, is that an offer or invitation to treat?

    • @ZeriteNetwork

      Hello Ima, well that is just a statement of intention..it depends on what they say or do next. It is not an offer...coz you can not answer "yes" or act on it by supplying the products.

      @@ZeriteNetwork Thank you so much. I have got one more doubt. If I make an offer to a person saying, 'Will you sell your car to me?' and that person simply replies, 'It's price is $2000' Can I take it as an acceptance? Thank you again

      @@imaghising8342 technically you did not make an offer..assuming you used those exact words...you simply invited them to make you and offer...do you get that point..and by telling you "it's price is $2000" they are making you an offer to sell which if you can accept by simply paying or you can counter by negotiating a lower price.

    Sir, is the action of Elon Musk of agreeing to buy twitter, an offer or invitation to treat??

    • @ZeriteNetwork
      @ZeriteNetwork  2 роки тому

      that is an agreement coz an offer was already made and accept which is why as of yesterday twitter was on track to sue Elon coz he said he will pull out of that deal....Twitter wants to enforce specific performance... But with Mergers and acquisition, which is what that deal is, things can get complicated.

      @@ZeriteNetwork so Did Elon Musk make an offer or did he make an invitation to treat?

      @@ZeriteNetwork According to my view, it's an invitation to treat since Musk is the one who offered to buy Twitter at a certain price and twitter management agreed

      @@christinendolo8926 invitation to treat is when your intention is to make the other party make you an offer e.g when you advertise ... in this case the only thing missing is for Musk to pay...but according to him Twitter isnt telling him the truth about the "bots" but according to twitter everything is ok...hence the disagreement.
