Good on ya for your efforts mate! It can feel very deflating putting in the work and getting so excited for a day out like you were expecting, especially on a big leisure cat of all things but that's fishing hey! Tight lines for next time mate 😁🐟
Hey mate, firstly thanks for the great vids 👍 was wondering if you could Le tell me about the leisurecat 9000 pro fisher as we are looking at buying one but can’t find much info or vids on them . Does Frenchy have a channel with a walk around of the boat ? Many thanks
Heh mate, he no longer has the 9m Leisurecat and since upgraded to a newer 7m Leisurecat so unfortunately no walk around video. Message me on Instagram and I can get you in contact with Frenchy who can give you a brief on the boat :)
Hey mate I’m not on Instagram, can you give me a yay or nay on the boat? I’m bit worried if he got rid of it so quick, can you tell me your thoughts on it . Cheers
Use live baits i think is the key according to a video posted from tacklwest. They fished the fads with heaps of boats around,no one catching anything and they did well on live baits.
Yeah mate I saw this video. They had some good luck that day. Typical of Perth fishing. Livies will always win the day. On this occasion absolutely nothing seen on the sounder but for sure live baits will definitely up the odds. We will be out again soon :) We will create and upload all our adventures even the ones which we don’t catch because those days can still be a good day on the water :) we love it
Unweighted snelled pilchard behind the boat will get smashed just as well as any live bait. I've sat them out the back and watched dollys jump keen out of the air on their initial strike and hook up, so much fun! But if they're not there, they're not there 😭 if we don't find fish within 30 minutes on one FAD, we are straight to the next. I've spent 2-3 hours on one for no fish, driven to another and straight away seen 100+ dollys and straight on. Just like this video, it always comes down to the day unfortunately 😁
