Thank you from the US. I have shot many Radway Green .303s and 7.62mm NATO as surplus ammunition. I had no problems with any faulty rounds. My Lee Enfields love it and I had very good groups at the range and competitions. Same with my RSAF L1A1 parts kit rifle from 1968 and my other FAL rifles.
RG was Shite...The STANAG 5.56mm Magazines they made were unbelievably shit, that caused so many stoppages on the L85A2 and A1 that if we found some we threw them away (in a river / down a hole wherever) HK had to produce a new version. Same with the ammo, the good 5.56mm was IMI (Israeli Military Industries that BAE sub-contracted to). RG was a hallmark of bad quality, i view them as the same as "Leyland"...a great example of How Shit UK manufacturing was in the 1970's and 1980's due to the socialist / Unionised government owned piss poor output that produced product that consumers were indifferent to for Tax payer pound/dollar. Symptomatic of how the UK didn't embrace true capitalism (for right or for wrong) until Thatcher. Thank God our best friend, the USA never did these stupid things and hamstring their military.

Fired lots of RG 7.62 and 9mm down range and in anger never failed , Thankyou

Very interesting views of an historic factory. Most people who have shot .303 at Bisley would have heard, if not used, Radway Green ammunition.
I grew up near here and as a small child going to school, we used to hear machine gun fire as they tested rounds.
