It should have an option where you can set how far down that you want to draw your battery. 3 different levels on others I've seen. Yours, by default, might be set to drain the battery only to the highest level which is why the car started.

just to let you know. it's not your car that stop giving power. The cooler has a battery protection and once it sense that its low. the Vevor shuts down preventing from you draining the battery.
