Having delusions of grandeur 😂
After making alterations to one walking stick I think I’m a professional 😂😂
My neighbour wanted a new hand grip on his walking stick, it had a small V thunb rest and he wanted a small antler he had found instead.
So this video shows my attempt at the job, right or wrong this is how I did it 😁

That area that you were trying to flatten with the chisel , is in reality Skull bone , & that my friend is why it was so resistant to that tool !!!

Jo get a steel bar or a double ended screw

It is alway handy when you have a walking stick with the horn of some animal on it. When you walk in the woods and you are confronted with some woodland creature then you can always point your stick towards him. The animal might think that you are one of them and therefor he will not attack, or the animal could think that the horn you are carrying is a remnant of a former encounter were the animal lost hin horn.
I must be carefull, I am starting to think like Walt Disney, animals do'nt think! If they did they would have found a way to leave this planet or invent a telephone.
