- The weak point of any added on handle will be the attachment point and how secure it is in the different parts.
Hopefully this approach will stand the test of time.
Over engineered is better than a slap it together technique.
Remember, it's only one way and not the only way.

Yes, it's a nice tipple for late in the day... it also helps relieve the pains in my right arm, rt shoulder and left knee. I carry a fair number of scars, but no tattoos. The scars tell real stories... not pretend or fantasy. Some days are harder than others. I'm in the middle of digging out black bamboo and I don't take painkillers so a Jameson or 2 at night makes it bearable so I can sleep.

Steven Driver... I can assure you that in none of my videos have I been inebriated. Who are you to judge whether I have a tipple when I present my orchids or other projects ? Judgemental attitudes and criticisms will not enhance your prestige and amounts to nothing more that school yard bullying. Perhaps a more educated analysis of techniques would be constructive.
I don't do any of my videos to impress you or anyone else.
They are simply a way to document various techniques with all the warts and scars on display rather than some glitzy, shmalz with fancy titles and edits with canned music to impress the jaded appetites of the masses.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough with the bamboo cane and Blackwood handle inserts. If I did edits and single frame images with subtitles for each step, it would be easier to understand. Gluing in the insert(bamboo is inherently weak compared to solid timber) was necessary in order to attach the handle securely.
...or did I lose you with the treat for Gus or the Irish Whiskey and Swedish chocolate treats for me ?
