- The SIVGA Luan is a highly capable headphone when it comes to sound, while simultaneously being one of the most comfortable headphones on the market. This could honestly be one of the best valued headphones under $500 when you factor everything in. If this hasn't been on your radar before, it should be now.

They are so comfortable, all day comfort in fact. Pads that engulf your ears. A lot of headphone designers after thousands of dollars haven't figured this out.
Exactly! I've never heard a person complain earpads were too soft/large/compliant. It's so simple yet I'm sure most of these manufacturers see skimping on earpad quality as a way to save a few cents to a couple dollars.
Yeah the more I own a larger collection of headphones, the more I appreciate the amazing comfort these have. Truly class leading
I always enjoy watching your fair and objective reviews, even when it comes down to the butt case
Fun fact, Luan(鸾) is actually a mythological bird in Ancient China, kinda like Phoenix, it's male, and usually immortal.
The $300 price point has some dope offerings these days. You’ve got these, the new Aune ar5000 and the HarmonicDyne Zeus Elite.
All have top tier, all day comfort, plus they all punch well above their prices.
If you ever get your hands on all 3, it would make for a great video.
Nice work as always Joe ✌️
yes pls i just watched reviews of those by different ppl and now also interested
especially interested in aune
Great review!
Great review as always Joe! Selfishly as a gamer I’d love for you to go into more detail when it comes to gaming. Verticality, sound stage, depth perception, imaging, different games, etc would all be soooo good coming from you. Thanks for all of the great content!
Great review, you covered a lot that other reviewers have missed. Well done!
Thanks so much!
@@GadgetryTech np dude, keep up the good work~
I’m a headphone user but this is my first time watching your video. Thank you!
Idk if I could use the case lol. I’d feel weird pulling my headphones out a leather nutsack in my local coffee shop 🤣. Great review I actually really like the headphones
might be a good conversation starter ;)
@@chungang7037 I bet it would “break the ice” lol
@@just-inedc2381 In this day n age, simply sitting somewhere with wired headphones period can be enough for a conversation starter~
Solid review.

Incredible review and comparison to the XS. What is your opinion on the comparison to the Ananda Nano? Where do you place it in your list of gaming cans? Your time, efforts, information, and sharing this with us all are greatly appreciated. Stay well, Sir.
PLEASE REVIEW THE AUNE AR5000!!
Do you have a live stream available where your testing the Arya organic? Need a comparison between the hd800S
Hello bro want to ask about pc38x … are the wicked cushion give them an upgrade or I should still use the original ones for better sound quality and comfort ??
I’ll appreciate the answer bro
Thanks I’ll keep supporting you ❤
Love the case 😄
I got the Robin (dark), and they are good for the money. Super soft cushions.
Hey, is it possible you can review the Sony mdr mv1? Not a lot of reviews I’ve seen so I’d love to hear your take.
I love the FiiO JT1s. For $69, they are crazy good. How do these compare to them? Fun fact: Your review made me buy the FT1's. Then I told Zeos about them, and he reviewed them. Then, they were sold out everywhere until recently.
I have a topping dx pro plus and I bought a microphone. I am really torn between this pair of headphones and the kiwi orchestra lights. Mainly for gaming with music secondary.
Please do a deep dive into the brain safety of planar magnetic drivers! My second time writing this comment but you're the only UA-camr I'd trust on that and I love the planar magnetic sound.
I'll head off the people calling this crazy as this has been a potential issue discussed by audiophiles in the past if you conduct a simple Google search.
Ooh, this scares me cos I use the HFM Arya Stealth and a Susvara a lot
Brain safety, what's that? Never heard of such a thing. Google isn't telling me much.
I own the sivga Phoenix also uses the same pads but they're too thin so i got sendy apollo pads that have a deeper padding very good replacements if you own luans and need replacements. One issue i ran into with the phoenix should be noted that if you twist the connection at the headphone point overtime the wire inside the headphone can sever from the solder point loosing its sound not sure if the luan will have this issue so be careful with changing wires often(was fixed resoldering it).
Are you saying that the pads are interchangeable? That would be very cool. I have the Phoenix as well, the stock pads are not as comfy, I wonder how much it would change the tuning...
@@chungang7037 yes both have the same locking mechanism and to be honest I don't here any difference other than more isolation
@@louiev.3367 Dude you are my hero. You are right, the pads fit, my Phoenix is still the bass lush monster it was just way more comfy!
I have the edition XS, but really want to move them off my pc and move them over to my all music side instead of gaming. The XS is a bit loose on my head.
Now I want a headphone sack too ...
Comfort and build are amazing, but for sound i'd still take the hifiman ananda nano, as they were both the same price. Can be great if it gets on a good sale as i would easily take these over a sennheiser (don't hate me for this lol).
The nano is $300?
@@chungang7037 nano is $499
The headband and yoke kinda look like the fiio jt1 lol
Can I just buy the case? Asking for a friend
Bass can't be beat on dynamic.
See, everyone says that, but I prefer my HE1000's bass to my TH900's bass, and that headphone is known almost exclusively for it's bass.
Still waiting on that APEX EQ. Ill donate a 100 dollars i swear!
sivga always seem to make baffling decisions in at least one aspect of their products... that case...
Thicc
that case lmao
