How to stop Instagram from tracking your search activities

By default Instagram tracks your search activities in order to display ads related to your searches.
This feature can be invasive sometimes so today i'm going to show you how to stop this from happeneing.
So to do this open your Instagram app on your phone.
Tap on your Instagram icon at the bottom right hand side of the screen.
Next tap on the menu icon on the top right side of the screen.
Then tap on settings & privacy
Next tap on Accounts centre
Now tap on "Your information and permissions"
After that tap on "Your activity off Meta technologies"
Then "Manage future activity"
Finally select "Disconnect future activity"
By doing this you're disconnecting information that businesses and organisations send instagram about your interactions.
Now tap continue.
Finally tap on "Disconnect future activity"
All done.
Instagram will now stop tracking any of my search activities.
