He prematurely ended arguably the greatest dynasty in sports.
This is absolutely ridiculous. He is by far the most skilled guy on the floor and he’s at least 2 steps slower than everyone and he doesn’t shoot 3’s. He was backing down Kenyon Martin like he was a baby and Kenyon bullied 90% of the league.
Kenyon Martin was an elite defender and was almost 20 years younger than MJ in this clip. KMart also weighed 30+ more pounds than Jordan with a 3" height advantage and still could not slow him down in the post. This video shows that even close to the age of 40 (with much of his athletism diminished), Jordan's basketball IQ, skill and strength at the guard position is unmatched. What makes all this shit even crazier is that this same Nets team made it to the Finals. A prime MJ ('88-'93) + the no handchecking rule would allow Jordan to humiliate the competition in the 2000s.

Yeah, after he came out of retirement the 1st time (after baseball) he was still amazing and the best player in the league. But his game in 1998 was less explosive and he relied more on mid-range jumpshots and fadeaways. Was he still great? HELL YEAH! However, Jordan was 35 years old in 1998. He was not in his prime in the '98 season. No athlete is in their prime in their mid 30s. Again, he was still the best player during the 2nd 3peat run ('95-'96 season to the '97-98 season). However, the point I was trying to make in my previous post is this: if a 39 year old [Wizards] version of Jordan could drop 45 points on Kenyon Martin, imagine what a peak version of Jordan would do.

Yeah that was amazing. The Nets finished first in defensive efficiency that year. Jordan had just had his knee drained. He scored 51 and then followed it up with this game against the toughest defense in the NBA. Even in the twilight of his career he could destroy teams when his knee was under control. I've never seen a talent like him.

Okay this man was being guarded by a young Kenyon Martin, a legit powerhouse, awesome player, very strong, and Michael literally literally made him his bitch. He was the top pick in the 2000 draft and Jordan basically murdered him. At the age of 39 or possibly 40 he just out ran the entire Nets team, no one could guard him at all. This man in his prime in today's game, i guarantee you he would average 39 a game easily, very easily. One scary ass player, he breathes basketball.

If jordan had a little more help in this wizard team, they can make it to the playoffs. Jordan is so competitive that he want to know what is his limitations in terms of playing,who can stop him.
