My phone talks with a program called voiceover so I can touch a letter or something and my phone reads it out to me. I have seasons one through seven audio described, but the website that used to provide that service stop doing TV shows. Now for season eight I just have to listen and rely on my family and UA-cam videos to clear up the more visual aspects. It kind of sucks. HBO really should have audio description.
Ricardo Rodriguez dude, I saw the concert in Atlanta, omg, when he did light of the seven and set off the wildfire......it was OTHERWORLDLY!!! And he so cool as well.
Ramin was basically the only part of the show that never lost its edge. Thanks, Ramin, wherever you are. You elevated the story into the realm of greatness.
Ramin Djawadi is such a genius. I love the GoT theme, The Stark Theme, The Light of the Seven The Winds of Winter. When I first heard his score, I felt a Hans Zimmer vibe. I recently learned that he was a prodigy of the great Hans Zimmer himaelf and they worked together on several themes. No wonder their music has an undescribable epicness that lifts the spirit. A music for the soul.
That's interesting because I do get a Zimmer vibe from him too, not to take anything away from Ramin, he is obviously very talented and has his own signature. I could recognize that Westworld music was from Ramin before I even checked it and I listen to that soundtrack more than I see the show. He's just a genius!
you're right he is a genius! His music makes a brilliant show even better! I love the music from the show, and also Hans Zimmers, especially Now We Are Free from Gladiator! Goosebumps!
The season 6 soundtrack is one of the greatest collections of orchestral music I've ever heard on television. Really can't wait to see what Djawadi has for us in season 7

I just posted a comment about this!! I went to see him during spring break and the lack of audience really disappointed me!!!! It wasn't even half full T.T people think it's exaggerated but it isn't. I still enjoyed the whole show and would definitely go again if he does another tour!!!
Bunny Blue YES! To me he is the next Hans Zimmer aka an absolute friggin genius! He achieves what many composers do not. He does not just creat music, he tells a story without words. He makes you feel the story and what it might hold for the viewer. I cannot remember any other TV show having such a great soundtrack. His work is defo Oscar worthy.
You don't realize how much the scores play into the feel and emotion of the show, until you see it broken down like this. This man is truly a master of his craft. Bravo good sir.
His music is so powerful, so rich. He's hits it just right every time. Ramin's music is he narrator to the entire story. He is a brilliant composer. One of my favorites.
This guy deserves all the awards!! From the moment Light of the Seven started in 6x10, I knew somethin huge was about to happen, they had never used piano like this before. Plus, he also made the score for Westworld, that instrumental version of Paint it Black is gold!!
I know every score is beautifully done. But nothing can beat the GOT Main Theme for me. It's the score that what he said you get to hum conciously and unconciously for me. I get goosebumps everytime the opening plays. He is indeed a musical genius.
Ramin Djawadi's music MAKES Game of Thrones. The show is amazing, but it is the music that brings it all together and really enhances the impact of each and every scene. On watching the show again, it's amazing how he ties in the many themes and all of the layers so seamlessly. I can't articulate how much I love the soundtrack.
I love his tracks SO MUCH, it's unbilievable HOW he can describe a soul with music, and you can actually feel what the characters are feeling... And this is so amazing and stunning.
People don’t realise how important Audio is. The audio is what creates the emotion and adds to the story telling. This man hands down deserve so much credit because the music is on another level for GOT. I hope he is used for the new spin off series. My favourite is Light of the seven
The next John Williams, in the sense that he will be forever tied to the awesome, culture changing show he's scoring, and he will be able to write his own ticket in the future. Kudos to him and to the showrunners for choosing him.
First, do NOT fuck John Williams, he would rock your world and you'd come prematurely. Second, John Williams has more Grammy AWARDS for his music(23), than all but 5 people ever, Ramin has never won a Grammy and only been nominated for one, Williams has been nominated for 35. Only one person in history has been nominated for more Grammy's than Williams, and that's Walt Disney, you may have heard of him (or likely not based on your age and lack of reading skills). John Williams has WON five Academy Awards (Oscars), Ramin has never been nominated. Of the top 20 grossing movies of all time, Williams scored 8 of them. The AFI (go look it up) named Williams score for Star Wars as the greatest movie music of all time. John Williams is a real, bonafide, true, legend in his own time. To put this into terms you might understand, John Williams is to music what Arthur Dayne (The Sword of the Morning), or Sir Barristan Selmy is to Swordfighting, and Ramin Djawadi is Arya Stark. Lots of potential to become one of the great ones, done some great work so far, but way way way to young and new to be a "legend" just yet. I'm not trying to criticize Ramin at all. I love his work, he's great, he's going to do great things for a long time. But I'd be willing to bet $5 that you had never heard of him before you got this email telling you about him, and being such a fanboy, you have to defend him against something as silly as being compared, in a complimentary way, to the greatest film composer of all time.
Ramin is definitely blazing his own trail and is an amazing composer. That being said, I don't know of any composer that will ever compare to John Williams, especially his work in the 70s and 80s. His genius is staggering, creating the most memorable music in the history of film. Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, and James Horner are/were also fantastic composers, but they all pale in comparison. Ramin may someday come close to Williams's genius, but I doubt he'll ever reach that level. Maybe he will, maybe someone else will someday, but I find it difficult to imagine.
New Rockstars have a really insightful analysis of the Light of the Seven - showing all the layers and different stages of the piece. The guy's a genius.
My favorite is still when daenerys gets her army at the end of "and now his watch has ended." Seeing that birds eye view of the dragons and daenerys leading her army and that music.... its emotional.
Still there's a goosebumps everytime I hear it. This will stay forever's memory for us & to all generations to come. Bravo Sir Ramin Djawadi Great work!
There is one type of person in this world when you look at him or her you know they are a good person kind hearted person. His eyes smile when he talks. He has this clean and humble face and he speaks softly and you wonder if this person ever speaks bad of other people. God bless this man. You are a beautiful soul Ramin Djawadi with a beautiful talent.
I LOVEDDD Winds of Winter (last song of the episode) but I was curious about the lyrics sang by the choir so I googled it and found out it was in Valyrian... like damn they're just great artists
He speaks so humbly and makes the music creation seems so simple. But, when you hear the actual music, you stop to wonder how someone created such art. Each music in GOT is a masterpiece in itself yet the way Ramin speaks, it makes look so easy. Shows sheer talent of the person that what we consider as masterpiece is an everyday work of a musician.
This guy inspired me, and in a way he's one of those composers that influenced me into discovering my passion for composing music. Huge admiration for Ramin Djawadi
Due to this guy, we get those goosebumps during the tense situations, the feel good type of thing during relaxed situations. Just a legend, he let's us know things just by his music.
A man loves Game of Thrones mostly because of this guy. A man has nearly finished a complete classical + electric guitar arrangement of Light of the Seven. A man would greatly appreciate anyone's support so that a man can record it in high quality. Valar Morghulis!
I like Hans Zimmer, but I find his pieces can be too similar. When comparing his compositions in Gladiator and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, for example, they sound like they could be in the same film regardless of how different their stories are. Ramin, however, knows how to create two very different themes within the same show. That takes skill.
I would just add Gustavo Santaolalla for his work on the video game The Last of us... it's a fookin masterpierce. You should listen to it if you haven't, I highly recommand it !
Ramin you are a genius. Why has no-one given you that accolade? You epitomize EXACTLY what music is ALL about because it sways and embraces emotion. You are able to translate that in every setting. RESPECT!
Ramin Djawadi is too amazing for me to praise in one comment. But I want to particularly talk about Light of the Seven. I, as many viewers was, was confused when I heard this piece. I immediately felt a tear run down my cheek when I heard it, because I knew something was way off. And that for me is why Game of Thrones is one of the most amazing shows ever made. When a show can make me emotional just from a music score? Wow. Anyways, Margaery Tyrell was one of my favorite characters (on the show at least) and losing her was heart-wrenching, but it was even worse with that score. Almost like my mind knew what was going to happen, but my heart and eyes were in-denial and didn't want to accept it.
agree, i loved Catlin most because of the actress's expressive face, and Margaery second most, i like Cersei a lot though because she constantly makes things happen and triggers lots of plot, plus she's a super-sarky bitch, which is funny - people say it's mean, but it's tv not real, and they love it when bron or tyrion is bitchy
Gavin Rowe YESSS! As soon as it started I knew shit was going to hit the fan. Mæn. My heart started pounding like I was having an anxiety attack. Easily the most devastating and most perfect TV score ever. Light of the Seven is perfection.
you are GRAVELY mistaken. winter has come meshes the main theme of got WAY more powerfully, and hear me roar meshes the lannister theme WAY WAY more powerfully
what a fucking genius man. any musician will know that creating a piece of music from sctach is amazingly difficult. imagine making scores of this caliber, takes balls of steel.
that's why game of thrones is television Gold... best thing that's happened to me... from score to direction, casting, everything is just over done....
I'm so happy he talked about the season 6 finale. I was in awe from that score, it was so unlike anything else I'm there show, I immediately knew something was up.
Ramin Djawadi has won 2 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score) - Game of Thrones: The Dragon and the Wolf and Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score) - Game of Thrones: The Long Night.
Ramin Djawadi is a genius, the Light of the Seven is one of the most fantastic pieces he's done.
Nirat Anop light of the seven and goodbye brother are my two favourite scores from the show
"Okay which instrument haven't we used yet? " Maybe some inspiration from Percival Shuttenbach, a lot of their work was used by game composer "Marcin Przybyłowicz" for creating music for witcher 3, and the instruments would be great also for Game of Thrones (not only for slavic folk)

-Darbuka/Goblet Drum

Nirat Anop I totally agree!
Nirat Anop A couple seasons into GoT and he was my favorite composer. Season 6 was marvelous!
he's definitely one of the best TV composers right now, if not one of the best in general. Trevor Morris is still my favorite still working in TV.
Ramin Djawadi is the best thing that happened to Game Of Thrones.

TIL Ramin Djawadi is as attractive as he is talented. Swoon.
Ramin Djawadi is a 'FOOKIN LEGEND!'
The legend of gin alley
Azor Ahai drinking wine from the skull of Jeor fooking Mormont
\ FlaminNimrod / he can take on any composer, any time!
\ FlaminNimrod / 49-1.... Connor bless
haha Conor McGregor fans everywhere! xD.
My favourite is Light of the seven
this man is genuinely a god
One of the Seven.
He studied under hans zimmer.
Josh Alexander I couldn't agree more
Ramin you are a gift to humanity 😍
he sure is. May God protect this guy from covid
Music has always been perfect in GOT thanks to him.
Gandalf The Grey Why did I read it in Gandalf's voice?
Tanveer Ahmad Oh idk, Maybe something to do with the username?
I agree
Daen... Daen who?
I don't think this show would be this epic WITHOUT this great man's talent!
what a soothing voice, i can listen to him non-stop
Sevens blessings to you Ramin. The music you make for GoT is truly amazing and triggers every hair in my body to rise up.
The next John Williams, in the sense that he will be forever tied to the awesome, culture changing show he's scoring, and he will be able to write his own ticket in the future. Kudos to him and to the showrunners for choosing him.
He isn't next John Williams....
HE IS FUCKING RAMIN DJAWADI!!!!!!
Fuck John Williams.
Ramin Djawadi is already a legend by himself, he doesn't need to be the next "insert whatever composer"
John Doe Watch your mouth when talking about John Williams.
This guy is a gift to television. GOT, Westworld, Person of Interest, so many incredible scores.
The one aspect of the show that was always top notch beginning to end. Ramin Djawadi is incredible.
RAMIN DJAWADI IS A LEGEND 😍
Hamad Misk A FOOKIN LEGEND
and at the same time he is so humble and shy... fantastic composer!
this is the same guy who wrote the theme for Pacific Rim - it made going down the cinema stairs more epic during the credits scene
+1
My favorite is still when daenerys gets her army at the end of "and now his watch has ended." Seeing that birds eye view of the dragons and daenerys leading her army and that music.... its emotional.
'Winds of Winter' is the theme that plays in the background of that scene
How cool is that they sang it in valyrian
The Light of the Seven never ceases to give me goosebumps, its such a well done piece!
A man loves Game of Thrones mostly because of this guy.
A man has nearly finished a complete classical + electric guitar arrangement of Light of the Seven.
A man would greatly appreciate anyone's support so that a man can record it in high quality. Valar Morghulis!
A crowd will appreciate your work.
Hans Zimmer and Ramin djawadi are my fav.
kiran rawat Ennio Morricone???
And don't forget Howard Shore! :)
Ramin was actually Hans Zimmers student
I would just add Gustavo Santaolalla for his work on the video game The Last of us... it's a fookin masterpierce. You should listen to it if you haven't, I highly recommand it !
Give him a medal!
Ramin you are a genius. Why has no-one given you that accolade? You epitomize EXACTLY what music is ALL about because it sways and embraces emotion. You are able to translate that in every setting. RESPECT!
Ramin djawadi, man of nearly perfection. Got fans bow to him along with George R R martin.
One of the primary functions of music is to convey emotions, you now know that to be true.
Completely relate to this! I was already going "nonononono No!!!"
Yip the moment I heard it I knew straight away shit was about to go down. Epic episode.
Gavin Rowe YESSS! As soon as it started I knew shit was going to hit the fan. Mæn. My heart started pounding like I was having an anxiety attack. Easily the most devastating and most perfect TV score ever. Light of the Seven is perfection.
it's so true! piano was never used as an instrument until Light of the seven... that's why we all loved it!
The light of the seven is arguably the best sound in TV
you are GRAVELY mistaken. winter has come meshes the main theme of got WAY more powerfully, and hear me roar meshes the lannister theme WAY WAY more powerfully
L Y R I L L Nope... The light of the seven is better...
L Y R I L L No... I am content with your mother... 😂👍
emoji trashpleb eat shit
what a fucking genius man. any musician will know that creating a piece of music from sctach is amazingly difficult. imagine making scores of this caliber, takes balls of steel.
Light of the seven was just pure goosebumps. Just listening to it makes you think something is not right
I can't wait to hear what new pieces he's composed for the new season!
When Cersei was crowned. That theme song gave me chills.
Still remember he did music for prison break where every character has their own sound track... this guy is a savage
Wow .. I just know.. .
He definitely made the show. It wouldn’t be what it is without the scores.
Ramin is a master and his music is so important to this show and HoTD.
that's why game of thrones is television Gold... best thing that's happened to me... from score to direction, casting, everything is just over done....
Light of the Seven (6x10) is just the greatest. Such a friggin masterpiece.
#GameOfThrones should give Ramin a special contribution like #HouseDjawadi for his extra ordinary works along the show. Brilliant soundtrack ever.
I look forward to the soundtrack as much as I look forward to the series itself. Fantastic work Mr Djawadi!
light of the seven is just perfection
it cant be improved it has reached the maximum level
cant quite work out if Game of Thrones made Ramin or if Ramin made Game of Thrones
This man’s music will go down in history! What a talent. Some of the most iconic music ever written. He is so handsome too ❤
Episode 6-10 will go down on history as an example of how to fuckin use music to tell a story. pure masterpiece.
