Thanks, I managed to tighten mine accidentally, this helped me. Mine did have a protection, the plastic barrel thing had a plastic insert, so twisting it needed additional pressure or it would just spin in place.

After that I twisted the plastic piece down the thread until it became loose enough that I could take the wristband off
I'm at a Con and the band got too tight in the shower on my last day. I put the tightly twisted ends in my mouth and the brad backed right off. This fix worked better than a charm!!

How can I get it off and still make it tight again for the festival. I think if you do it like that you break the teeth that grabs.

Before I search your video up I accidently made her wristband really tight and she didnt want to cut it off so we found your video and managed to loosen it! We're going to boomtown festival in 7 days :D
@@CasaBacon it didn’t work cause of how they designed the fastener unfortunately, they designed it so that the teeth inside spin separately from the outer casing on the plastic fastener :( I guess imma have to keep it on till Saturday, I hope they still let me in 🥺I still appreciate the help!
