Great interview. Have loved Bruce since I was 16- I'm now 61. It's great that he's been over here every year for the past couple of years and we can see him live . Looking forward to an arena show in Manchester next year. What an experience that will be.
Awesome interview. Thank you so much for sharing this and for my lovely friend Pat for telling me about it. I listened to it on the night and enjoyed it so much. I so wanted to listen to it again and to share it with other family and friends who are fans and who missed it. I particularly loved his words and story about his beloved Late Mum. Looking forward to the next concert now of this legend and his amazing Band.
Great interview! I see why they called Simon Mayo home from vacation/holiday. Thank you. That was wonderful. Can’t wait to see “Road Diary” on Hulu! BRUUUCE! ❤️💕
Outstanding interview - covering lots of ground we're not used to hearing Bruce talking so much about. Like hearing about how the recent additions to E Street were brought on board, for instance.
Been an E Street fan since the late 70s, but..have to say that showing this film solely on a pay streaming service is just another in a series of decisions that illustrates how distant he has become from his working class fans (US concert ticket prices of course are the clearest example). Will forever treasure his music, and the live shows I've seen, but the 'old Bruce' would have made his concerts--and films like this one-more accessible to people who dont make six figure incomes.
Oh, Simon is a huge fan. In case you don't know he's a long standing bbc radio 2 dj with an enormous musical knowledge so ideally placed to interview Bruce
He plays Bruce frequently on his weekday, 4pm to 7pm, Greatest Hits Radio show in his 'Brucie bonus' segment. Simon Mayo is a broadcasting legend and fitting he should be, expertly, interviewing a rock legend. @@asburystan
Bruce has a tremendous amount of 1975-1985 videos. Mostly on beta tape and film. The tape cameras (most of the ones available in venues back in the day) were not a great device for quality videos. That's why Bruce does not want to release them, as amazing as they might be. To be fair, I'd love to see them on UA-cam, not sold in a pricey package. Bruce always had more bang for the buck, even for the recent albums, great quality materials and premium sound for standard price. Thank you, Bruce!
$110 is cheap? I saw Bruce at The Spectrum in 1978 for $12.00. $15.00 in 1981. 99 Deutsche Marks in 1985 (I was in the service in Germany). And four or five times since then. The dynamics certainly have changed.
When you’re giving some of the best shows ever it’s hard to be critical about it, I got pretty close tickets for 2 for under 500$, the whole ticket fiasco got way overblown
I am old enough that Simon Mayo is a newbie, hearing him say he has grandchildren is ew! How to make you feel your age. Even worse Springsteen in a suit??? Anyway looking forward to the film release on Friday!
Proud of being one of those Catalans he mentions! Have seen him in Barcelona 6 times now, we love Bruce!
I’ve seen Bruce 44 times in the U.S. My dream is to see Bruce in Spain, particularly Barcelona. Someday 🤞🏼💫
🇺🇸💕🇪🇸 🎸🎷 BRUUUCE!
That Hammersmith concert is like a time capsule or something. Showing the band at that time, just an incredible show.
Thanks Bruce, for always moving me, in so many ways! Until it ends…❤
Well worth you coming back from France, Simon Mayo. At least for us fans!
Great interview. Thanks

Me too! Since I was 15 and now 62 🤷
Simon is such an outstanding interviewer. Such a pleasure to see him get the absolute best out of his subjects. Bruce was lovely, very humble. ❤
New songs will be AMAZING whenever they come! What a fantastic interview! I can’t wait to watch Road Diary on Friday! ❤️❤️❤️‼️‼️‼️

Have you seen the prices for concert tickets in the UK. Bruce was here in Belfast but no way would I pay the prices.
Great stuff that. Simon is class and clearly interested and a fan

Mayo: "It's like going to church - but in a good way."
Thanks Simon - excellent interview with Bruce

This how to do an interview.
Bless you Simon
Nice interview. Some messy edits though. I'd like to have heard what Bruce said there.
💯💯💯👍👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Neue Songs Bruce oh ❤
God bless you for sharing ❤😊
the host is very kind to bruce but the ticket prices would have deserved some more ctitical questions

Anyone know which date this was recorded?
Says 5 days ago when loaded?
@@Irishgal777 apparently recorded on 18th @ Claridges.
Confirmed here then. No Wembley next year. 😢
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s on Hulu! What do they keep saying Disney+?
What's Hulu?
@@markthomas8018 it’s another streaming service in the US anyway, but I found out that it streams on both.
J'aime autant l'homme que le chanteur
Is it just me or are Bruce and Bob Iger morphing into each other?
Fantastic bringing prices up, dodged it tho bruce y.😂
Distracting silly mics. What about small lapel units?
5:50 "It's like going to church, but in a good way". What?
Quel dommage que je ne comprenne pas l'anglais....
