Just got this watch limited edition. You mentioned the only corner cut is that it's a mineral crystal. I believe for $270 you get the limited edition with a sapphire crystal.

Thanks for the excellent review! May I ask how that sapphire coated mineral is holding up? Gimmick or the real deal in terms of preventing scratches like real sapphire? Thanks again.
I couldn’t tell you as this watch is no longer in hand, but in my experience with sapphire coated mineral, it is nothing more than a gimmick and it’s basically a mineral crystal.

Ben's watch club did a video on this topic a while ago using the sapphire coated glass found in Wenger watches and found that they did in fact hold up significantly better than regular mineral, so I guess your mileage can really vary based on brand.
