The thunder sounded like it came from the ceiling for me as well (using Samsung Q990B soundbar). And in the car the rain hitting the roof had that as well. I would say that the helicopter in the rescue scene also had very impressive and clear Atmos sounds from above.
That green tiny is the part of the movie. I saw 35mm film version. It’s accurate. 4K looks almost exactly like 35mm version. And in some ways even better thanks to HDR. Especialy on proper oled screen.

I usually wait for a sale or price drop unless it's a limited edition or a real favorite of mine. example I already pre-ordered Imprint's upcoming release of The Warriors (1979) coming in June, I won't take any chances on losing out on that one.

I agree, this new remaster looks amazing for the 4K and too bright, in fact overexposed in many scenes, especially for those inside the Matrix. I hope they fix it! Thanks.
Why don't you try altering the display dynamics of your screen? You will only see the movie as the editors intended if your TV has no kind of 'enhancement' mode selected.
it has fake digital grain that is being used on some most , 1:53 its not film grain , its a studios shameless using a fake digital grain ( warner used it on superman , usa pressing i have that has the possible theatrical six track Dolby Stereo , its more or less transparent with the laserdisc of the format 04 to format 43 kind of ) , same most can use for making their pictures or videos have a grain , fake grain effect , colour is bin it , compared to laserdisc AC-3 and early dvd region 1 , even the AC-3 laserdisc price has increased , i play the AC-3 with theatrical mix , otherwise that uhd atmos is throw it in the bin , even if you compared 35mm cell zoomed in compared to still frame on uhd its fake grain its like tv miss-tuned and then a static noise appears and keep miss-tuning , get the idea ?
