Besides being one of my favorite Hip Hop songs...even the video is inspiring somehow. I'm a huge fan of film..and I'm broke..and it just shows that even if you follow a vehicle and a camera (and a good song)...you can just run behind a truck thats recording you, and make it look cool. its crazy how just the beginning of the video is better than most videos that over-do it and waste all that money...(or either that its because Madlib is so damn awesome).
just got into Madlib recently (I've been sleeping on him far too long) This dude really opened my understanding with music with The Unseen and is still surprising me even with a massive discography. goat shit right here 🐐🐐🐐
Madlib is a fucking god. Makes me so happy just knowing hes still alive. After Jdilla died, Madlib is definetly the best hip-hop producer walking this earth. Maybe not to everybody, but people can agree that Madlib is one of the best living right now.
I'm not gonna lie and say the video is the best I've ever seen but they did what they could at the time and that's better than just sitting there and it really shows their appreciation for music.
Wildchild from Lootpack shared a ton of his insights on the art of MCing, for the books *HOW TO RAP* and its sequel *HOW TO RAP 2*... Here's one thing he says in them- ''If I’ve got a concept I’ve already got in mind before the beat, then usually I won’t need the beat to write to. It can be difficult to find words to rhyme sometimes. Depending on the flow or certain words, you gotta go to your dictionary or rhyming dictionary."
Daaaaamn that On N On is oh my goodness! Ive never heard this track b4!!! Man i need to get a hold of this track. Where can i find it to bump in my Nano while wrking out!!!
Also, forgot to mention that the second part of the video is a song called "Infinity". It's on the album called "Madlib - Time Out Presents The Other Side of Los Angeles."
